Synopsis

With all of the Clow Cards recaptured and changed into her own Sakura Cards, Sakura Kinomoto now enters her first year at Tomoeda Middle School. After her initial day of classes, Sakura reunites with her love Shaoran Li, who informs her that he is permanently moving back to Tomoeda. Much to her surprise, it even turns out that Shaoran will attend the same school and it seems as if Sakura's life is heading in all the right directions.

However, when Sakura goes to sleep, she encounters in her dream a mysterious cloaked figure and finds herself surrounded by transparent cards. Waking up in fear, Sakura is shocked to see her dream has come true, with the Sakura Cards having turned clear. Continued dreamlike encounters with the unknown enemy and her gaining a new magical key sets the stage for Cardcaptor Sakura's latest adventure!

mild spoiler(?) but I'm sure you have called it too, because I did.

I started watching the original series last week, so I'm not a long time fan, but I really enjoyed watching it.

I see many people are comparing both seasons. Yes, there are major differences, especially in terms of animating the story. All I can say is I liked both styles, both have each their own points. This sequel has some sort of "hanyan" (as Sakura would say) feel to it, or maybe "fuwa fuwa" is ...

Dabs of nostalgia. I love the comeback! I truly enjoyed watching Sakura and Syaoran's moments. let alone see more of Daidoji and Meilin (visiting tomoeda) once more. so long fan fiction really. As for the art, I cannot disagree with the overall artwork. I think the animators and mangakas have done such a stellar job. My only complaint is how close it now feels to Chihayafuru. I mean that anime is interesting and the artwork really did mesh in greatly for the whole series. However, seeing that glow in Card Captor Sakura is a tad bit too bright for my taste. so thus the mixed ...

Oh Mokap’s balls this is one of the most boring pieces of media I’ve ever seen the original ccs was a very legbeardish anime do to it's questionably aged romantic leads but had decent and likable characters such as Kero and Eriol who are practically no where to be scene in this boring food network anime the show is supposed to beat about them finding the new clear cards (hence the name of the sequel) but the plot progression is soooooo slow half the show is just sakura and syaoran being super lovey dovey and for some reason the background turns bright pink every time ...
