Anime 42893 The God Of High School Pv Suggestion

Very interesting take on what is normally very long-form story telling, by condensing in down to less than 2 minutes they successfully keep only what is absolutely essential to the heart of the series. It still feels a bit hollow, like a PV for the eventual full length anime adaptation, though at the time I don't believe any plans for such were under way. It feels like one of those fan animations you might on youtube celebrating a series rather than an official adaptation. Still, it's very flashy and cool looking which I guess is about as much praise as can be given any shounen ... battle anime, so 7/10

The story is nicely put for the duration of the whole thing. We get a nice view of the main characters, some fighting scenes and also some of them chilling together.
The art style is pretty much the same as in the anime without the flashy effects and red noses, a really good job overall. The song is nice and chill, the genre is not a bad choice considering we still don't know the character's emotions throughout the fight but still having the pace matched up with the video. In my opinion, watching this makes us think that we don't know what is happening and we'll ... get to know it if we watched the whole series (or read it) but in the end we don't really know what's going on in the anime either :D

The video it's self is a massive spoiler, but this review is not. I would not recommend watching the video until after GOH is completed. It can easily be found on YouTube if you look for "The God of Highschool Preview" and it's onlly 1:48.

With that out of the way, it's a pretty good preview, and makes for a nice and short AMV - but the problem is if you haven't watched the show it basically covers different aspects from episodes 1-13 in under 2 minutes.

If you are a completionist and simply want to finish everything The God of Highschool related; then this is ... an easy watch, but outside of that this can be skipped all together. It doesn't have much point outside of spoilers with no audible context which could be confusing.
