If you ever wanted a child-friendly Yu-Gi-Oh! TV show for your 6 year old, I have found the perfect show for you. It's a show that continues with Rush Duels from the Sevens series, so if that wasn't to your liking, you won't like this any more than that. Also, the characters have a nice design, but the backgrounds are very simplistic, so I wonder just how much budget this show really has.
The first few episodes assume you've never heard of Yu-Gi-Oh! and explain every small rule and detail about how to play, so the duels are simply summon monsters to ram into each other. ... It's actually pretty insulting how much it force feeds you information you should already know. It's so slow, magic and trap cards aren't explained until the 3rd episode; and I don't think I can't watch anymore than that.
Overall, this is a huge disappointment if you're a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan; so if you want to watch something good, try 5Ds, Zexal, or the original.

Bro like my kids are not that fucking retarded and they didn't even understand the story. We were so shocked by how yugioh has gone downhill like just let other studios make yugioh. They really dumb down the characters. Pretty trash and the art style was shit. I thought this was for kids but clearly the studio has no idea how yugioh works. This is a spinoff of SEVENS because we needed a spinoff of Sevens apparently.

The MC is an alien. Why? Because wacky? The other two characters also have names that start with Yu because Arc V didn't run that troupe into the ground enough.

... There are episodes where THEY DON'T EVEN DUEL.

Sevens wasn't bad at all. It was pretty entertaining at least. Somehow this show has run 100 episodes and we haven't even gotten an English dub yet. It is never ending.

I digress. The plot revolves around an Alien named Yuga trying to learn a children's card game (ala rush duels) to lead his people to a better future. That's it. That is the driving point. No ET phone home or alter ego this time. Just "i want to learn rush duel because show demands it"

Duel Masters has good anime, Beyblade does. Even Digimon does. Why do we get stuck with this crap?

There's not much to really say. It's the wacky adventures of an alien boy and two nerds. Theres other aliens too including a chupacabra boy.

Since the episodes aren't even plot heavy i can't even describe them. They all feel like filler. Again, Why does this even exist?

Who asked for an alien's adventures playing yugioh?

Go buy more collectible cardboard and consume this trash i guess. It's frankly insulting that Konami thinks this little of us fans.

This show is geared towards the youngest of audiences and it's just plain bad.

There's some exciting duels im sure by episode 25+ but do you really want to force yourself to watch this children's show with no character development or serious moments? Just to see actual duels?

Go watch GX. Go watch Vrains. Watch or re-watch any other Yu-Gi-oh show. Even sevens.

Even the Wikipedia page literally consists 1 single paragraph for the plot sypnosis. It isn't deep.

It's a show aimed at kids and only kids.

The animation is the same as SEVENS. Cartoonish and cheap.

There is nothing good I can really say about this show. It's just bad.
