The official Twitter of the Pokemon television anime unveiled on Friday for its new anime series, the main cast, staff, a promotional video, and a key visual (pictured). The television anime is set to broadcast with a one-hour special on April 14 at 6:55 p.m. on TV Tokyo.

If you seen the original Pokemon, then you can jump into Pokemon Journey's without missing a beat since it makes call backs to the original series. The problem is that its just two male with Goh being the annoying one and the female lead doesn't show up until way later in the series, so you probably won't like it. I haven't followed Pokemon as much Digimon since I stopped playing the games a while back.

I would recommend watching Pokemon XY or Pokemon Sun and Moon if you still want to give the Pokemon franchise another shot.

i was gonna say that Pokemon is one of the few shows i can watch for the monsters but its honesntly not as theyre not badass enough, i need the waifus

... then again... i always need the waifus, so yea... ill pass i guess

ill get my monster fix from Digimon and Gamera

Looks like I have a reason to finish up Pokemon Journeys now that Digimon Ghost Game is coming to a close. I'm looking forward seeing Pokemon with a new protagonist.
