Anime 11597 Nisemonogatari Userrecs

both is very good anime where the main protagonist deal with some supernatural stuff. and a lot of trivia romance  

Sankarea surprised me with the art style. It was very surreal and cinematic and immediately reminded me of a Shaft show. 

In both, the main hero meets girl(s) who has something to do with suppernatural. Both anime involve comedy and romance as well as fanservice. 

Anime that focus on the interactions between older brothers and younger sisters. These would be enjoyable especially to those of us who are in fact (responsible) older brothers in real life. *Watch Bakemonogatari first before starting Nisemonogatari. 

Self-proclaimed sister haters that would sooner die then let them get hurt. 

Both series employs the theme of word plays. Shaft is also the studio involved in both series. Both series has many strange characters with strange personalities in a strange environment. Both series also has a lot of drama, comedy, parody, and humor. 

Produced by Shaft, these series tend to tell stories with extraordinary story-telling techniques, such as rapid screen cut, exaggerated facial expressions and body gestures, sudden focus on symbolic objects, and a heavy amount of inner monologue. Eminent Seiyuu, like Kamiya Hiroshi and Maaya Sakamoto etc, are also present in both series as main characters. Finally, the humor in both series are similar. Sharp-tongued sarcasm are to be expected. 

Both are hilarious with great character interactions, over-exaggerated scenes and excellent animation. 

Both are dialouge-heavy shows with fantastic art syles 

I love how the second seasons are filled with humor and ecchi instead of being all serious like their prequels. 

The usage of word play courtesy of Shaft exists in both of these series. Both series tends to avoid a direct/linear storyline but rather have a slice-of-lifish theme that explores the identities of the characters. And of course with word plays means = random scenes with pictures depicting actions. Also, there is quite a large female cast in both series that has strange relationships with the main character. Comedy is highly present in both series.
