both are new versions of their original anime/manga both pure and original Shounen great story with good characters. MC's family is dysfunctional many of your shounen favourites were inspired or taken from these two. some great seiyuu's in it. even the bad guys are likable

-Both main protagonist and antagonist look and act similar to each other. -Both series have a side character giving long exposition on the current situation in the battle -Expect a manly tear here and there

Both are wilfully ridiculous and over-the-top macho silliness revolving around seemingly idiotic protagonists who both have an excellent knack for gambits.

Fights by any place with personal styles and a bit bloody. The body of the characters can squirm-himself to kick or punch of the best way and without time to boring!

Two popular anime where the settings are memorable, as it would deal with the how characters faced battles amongst others and themselves due to times of joy, adventure, defeat and agony.

If you're looking at these two as a comparison of similar anime stories, don't, there isn't one. Instead look at these two as having a similarity of overabundant histrionics (lot of shouting and overacting) and male characters that are very gar. The storylines are simple within themselves. Just remember that these two series are both over-the-top, so be ready for it.

Both are historical adventure series based on acclaimed manga series that while action packed and goofy, are not afraid to get violent and bloody. The heroes in both are daring and clever (Sugimoto is essentially a synthesis of Jonathan and Joseph), and the villains in both are crazy insane.

Vampires, Nazis and over the top action. both series are equally ludicrous. hellsing isn't as macho as jojo but it has ridiculous amounts of gore.

- These series have some of the most ri-god-damn-diculous scenarios I’ve seen in anime, and they can pull off over the top comedy and reactions in the best way - Both are long series with multiple parts and plenty of action (Gintama is around 370 episodes and Jojo is over 150 and still being adapted to anime at the time I’m writing this) - Both have historical settings with fantasy/sci-fi elements - Gintama is set in an alternate Edo-period Japan that is also inhabited by various alien races, while Jojo is set throughout various time periods starting in Victorian England and has many characters with mystical powers -

Both are from the same author, see Boah is enjoyed more if you've seen Jojo's

Also to me, the powers in both seriers (all parts) seem to be somewhat similar. The powers can take often take form apart from the user. They even have a certain degree of autonomy, and individual names. Certain limitations apply, for example regarding range. The "stand" system in Jojo seems more elaborate to me though. However, the more chaotic manifestations in Bungou Stray Dogs can be a fun watch too.

These 2 shows are not similar in regards of plot or characters. The main themes are severely different. But Oreshura has a lot of jokes that are built on references from JoJo. The comedy is hilarious if you've already seen JoJo, and if you haven't, you'll miss out on a lot of them. So if you've watched JoJo, give Oreshura a try. And if you're looking to give Oreshura a shot, consider watching JoJo first. As stated in the anime; "at least watch part 4".

Both anime are very over-theatric especially when it comes to how the main characters talk. Both of the main characters are geniuses when it comes to their quick thinking in handling situations.

Both series features a lot of action and drama. The main male protagonist in both series are also tough, independent, and strong. Both series has a great story with insightful characters. They also feature supernatural elements involving the story that has a similar atmosphere.

ok, so many people don't link between those two anime, so i link. the two animes bring you to adventure, and for "adventure guys" that a must to watch both.

Both anime feature strong protagonists, who have to defeat seemingly invincible enemies who threaten humanity. Both have a lot of over the top action and some comedy.

Both are incredibly over the top anime fill with insane epic battles that are crazy, funny and just fun to watch, both anime will have you on the edge of your seat.

While the manga of JoJo is seen as one of the forefathers of standard battle manga/anime, Ushio to Tora's manga is seen as one of the forefathers of youkai battle manga/anime. Both of these anime have an old-school feel to them and are re-adaptations of manga that got sub-par OVAs years ago. Also, they both have great action scenes and can get a bit brutal at times (JoJo especially). Both anime should be watched before other mainstream shounen because they have influenced those mainstream shounen. At least, that's what I think.

Yuu-Yuu-Hakusho and JoJo's Bizzare adventures are both classic action anime which delve into the supernatural, yet delve into the supernatural realm in a manner which stood out for their time.

I think Dorohedoro and the JoJo series are quite similar, not only due to the bizarre circumstances the characters always find themselves in, but also due to the unique way they combine comedy and horror. Colorful art, zany characters, and a thrilling and action-packed story, make these two anime share a similar vibe.

-Both feature distinct and well defined characters -Both have a band of adventurers on a journey, though the Jojos have significantly less company -Both have settings based on the real world, though of course Jojo's is much more exaggerated than Vinland Saga's

Both anime have OP characters fighting in puzzle fights. Almost every character in these two animes are really buffed. Every character has a different power to defeat a enemy. There also are Jojo refferences in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Both include people with superpowers. Although Boku No definitley has a better plot, Jojo has great characters and animation.

We have two vampire series from the 1980s or earlier which helped shaped series which came along later on, yet both have their own twists on the genre which may not seem new anymore, but were back then.

Both anime are based on typical 80's shounen manga, full of badass characters and exaggerated manliness. Both series also have several characters and techniques named after heavy metal and rock bands/musicians, like Black Sabbath, Beatles, Metallica and Yes.

At the start of the Terra Formars series, I would never have thought I'd be comparing this show with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. How could a show about cockroaches killing humans be similar to a show about vampires and pillar men? After watching about 10 episodes, I found the answer. The answer is very simple. They're both outrageous. Simply outrageous. Let's take a look at Jojo first of all and see why it succeeded as the popular anime we know today. Characters are know to be extremely muscular and GAR. Side characters are constantly dying. The battles are remarkably memorable and particularly so extraordinary to the point the

Both series are loaded with super muscular men, full shounen style and packed with comedy!

Manly shows with fighting evil and some (mostly unintentional) funny moments.
report Recommended by Frezlaj
Both shows take GAR to a whole new level. Who doesn't like seeing buffed men fight with each other right? Both of these are filled with fight scenes and manliness. Though Berserk is more bloody so if you're a pussy you might wanna reconsider. They're both awesome though so you don't wanna miss out.
report Recommended by PrimeX
Both are dark yet tongue-in-cheek fantasy stories based off late 80s shonen manga with a cast full of manly men and a surprising amount of women who can hold their own as well. They are also packed to the gills full of western music and pop culture references and influences.

Docchi mo Maid and Jojo's include: -magic, -ecchi humor, but are not solely focusing on that, -kilotons of fun, -unique art, -unique villains, -annoying s*uts, (according to Frilly and Jotaro) -happy ending, -love for sea life, What Docchi mo Maid does not include: -Speedwagon. Watch JoJo.
