Synopsis

Shin Captain Tsubasa takes place at the International Jr. Youth tournament (U-16) in Paris, France. After defeating the Argentina Jr. Youth, Italy Jr. Youth and France Jr. Youth teams, Japan Jr. Youth reaches the final against the powerful West Germany Jr. Youth team. The giant goal keeper Müller, the ace Kaltz and Europe's best player Schneider offer the Japan Jr. Youth team an extremely hard final match.

Direct continuation of the 1983 series that, since there are only 13 chapters, we have shorter and less epic matches. With the exception of the semifinal with France and the Germany-Japan final, which are two very exciting confrontations, and with spectacular plays. The rest of the games are very basic.
If you are a fan of the original anime, you will really like this series of 13 OVAs.
It doesn't stop at developing the characters, since they assume that we already know them. And those who add new ones are not too charismatic except for Schneider, the German, and perhaps Pier, the Frenchman.
