Finally this disaster is over
Good ideas, an interesting plot, ruined by a bad development of characters, a protagonist ruined by the author, and a conclusion that doesn't close the plots but raises more doubts.
It was worth it? Is it justified to approve a work if in general it was good and the ending is a disaster? No. The ending is the cherry on the dessert. It's what closes all the plots. It's the light at the end of the tunnel. If after the best banquet they feed me shit, i'm not going to give the restaurant a five.
Shingeki no Kyojin was just that. A ...

I don't remember the exact year, I was about eight or nine when my cousin told me about anime, back then I didn't know what it was I didn't really watch series either the only thing I knew were cartoons, so when he told me about it I was really interested but couldn't watch it at the time because I was in the village for summer, after returning back home I was super excited, I couldn't wait to start watching those weird cartoons he told me about, so I decided to start with the one he didn't talk much about I wanted to leave good ...

It is without saying that Attack on Titan is the anime of our generation. I waited for it with my heart in my neck and it did not disappointed.
This season managed to bring back, not only, the beautiful animation that MAPPA got us so used to, but also the rollercoaster of emotions, amazing soundtrack and heartbreaking story.
I was also awed with how much ease did the little, small scenes that do not feature in the manga, managed to sprinkle the whole experience with even more gasps and trembles.
Overall, as expected, a perfect start for the end of the series.

When did this series go bad?

I can exactly pinpoint the moment the series went down the Mariana Trench. Episode 81 "Thaw". From then on dumb shit became the norm for this series, including but not limited to: every shot projectile will miss the target without fail and a new unheard of ability of the titans, that most likely not even Eren or THE FOUNDER know about, was unlocked when the plot needed it most, completely out of the blue. I agree with Annie, I also didn't know titans would really be able to fly, HOW CONVINIENT! TRULY A MIRACLE! Also, wasn't Ymir's intention to ...

Either I don't understand something, or the site is buggy and does not allow me to transfer the Attack of the Titans to the "Completed" section. And so the series is good. The animation is excellent (not comparable to WIT Studio, but generally good). If we take the characters into account, then it should be at least 3-4 positions lower, since there are almost no characters left in the Attack of the Titans that I would respect (yes, that's right, I'm talking about traitors). Although I don't like how it ended, Attack of the Titans remains in my heart as one of the best ...

Amazing episode! I am a manga reader and honestly MAPPA outdid themselves, this is easily a 10/10 masterpiece anime and episode. I'm very very hyped for the finale, personally hope they animate and show us the "Depths of Despair" manga scene. Really liked the new content and even teared a bit because it added more character depths and feelings. Also loved the added OST from previous seasons, new one was amazing too!

Thank you Mappa and Hayime Isayama for creating and animating this universe, it has accompanied me through my last almost 9 years! Shingeki no kyojin day when manga was being released was the very ...

WRITING
The thematic relevance of the final chapters is very compelling, and provides many nuanced and interesting takes on the human condition, which to me is the strongpoint of the final arc. Not many narratives are able to accomplish philosophical writing in an easily decipherable way. Some of the most important examples of this are:
- Zeke and Armin, representing elements of nihilism vs optimism, or the idea that we have "no meaning in life" vs the idea that we have to "make our own meaning".
- Mikasa and Ymir, representing the importance & power of love but also the importance of overcoming your emotions for the greater ...

In my review, I won't delve into every plot hole or flaw; that would take far too long, given the disappointing finale of the series. Instead, I'll concentrate on what I believe is the series' most egregious writing misstep: the character development of Eren.

Many argue, following the series conclusion, that Eren's character was consistent throughout—that he was always destined to be the character we see in the end. However, even assuming this was actually the intended trajectory, it does not equate to it being a well-executed narrative choice.

Eren's journey throughout the series is marked by significant change. He evolves from an emotional crybaby, somewhat naive ...

I've never had soo many goosebumps in 1 hour. (Maybe Endgame it was) But, Damn! The emotions are so Real! Every anime, movie, web series is either mildly or fully based on real life events and how we process those events. AOT is one of those arts that has gone soooo insanely close to making us understand how cruel, how difficult it is to make rules regulations and process life in general. Yup I know its an animated series but the choices and dilemma shown in this series speaks volumes of how past, present and future war is about. They even used the old OSTs ...

Disappointed with this ending💔😭

I wish the creator would change the ending. I enjoyed the previous episodes so much, but I felt betrayed by how Eren’s friends turned against him. I know it was all Eren’s plan and he wanted to die and make his friends heroes. But there were many other ways too. There was no need to start the rumbling and kill people in the first place. Then he wouldn’t have been forced to take that decision. He loved Mikasa with all his heart, and he even confessed it, but she still killed him. The war didn’t end either. They showed that the ...

Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 adapt chapter 131-134 of the manga into a 1 hour movie special, and it sure feels like one.
Eren Jeager 1000000000000000000000000/10
Story 10/10
This part contain what many considered the best chapter in the manga (chapter 131) which shown the absolute true despair of the rumbling and Eren’s true motivation. And It was adapted to perfection, with many anime original scene to given more context to the situation.

Animation 10/10
The rest of the episode also contain the best MAPPA’s animated sequence so far for their AOT, both in term of their perfection in CGI blending and 2D animation. It is safe ...

Holy. Fucking. Shit.

These 3 words are the only way I could describe this entire first episode. Cinematography, Animation, Art-style, Music, Voice Acting, Creativity, Horror, Writing and Story-telling is mind-blowing with this one.
Attack On Titan is without a doubt one of the greatest shows ever created, and this episode right here is without a doubt the best in the series. There is so much stuff to talk about regarding every character's decisions, philosophies and developments that it would take you whole essays to fully uncover the layers. The dreadful atmosphere and tone where everything feels like it's going to end very badly for the characters we ...

See you later, Eren. There will never be something like this again. I will carry this series, it's messages, themes, and ideas with me for the rest of my life. You should watch it. Your family should watch it. Your friends, acquaintances, coworkers. They should all partake in a once in a universe occurrence.

For manga readers, many lines of dialogue that were considered tone deaf and or ill placed have been changed to be better fitting. The animation, excellent, audio and music, excellent, voice acting has been excellent. This was my second review, but to me, this will be the only review that will ever ...

Attack on Titan: Final Season - The Final Chapters marks the end of an epic journey, and as expected, it has evoked both enthusiastic praise and spirited discussion. In my review, I aim to present my perspective by spotlighting the series' remarkable strengths while also acknowledging areas where it may have fallen short of certain expectations.

One of the standout features that have consistently shone throughout the series is its music. The soundtrack has been a hallmark of Attack on Titan, and it continued to excel in these final episodes. The emotional resonance of the narrative was significantly enhanced by the evocative music, which acted as ...

The only reason why I gave it a 7 is because the action scenes were phenomenal. There you go. Watch at your own risk. This anime made me feel not well. I had to watch this because this anime was my favorite until Eren became the Antichrist. Isayama the creator believes and talks about the Darwin's theory of evolution and he also believes there is a hell. In the last episode he mentioned both. He wants us to love the Antichrist Eren and worship him. Eren and Armin hug and say they will both be together in hell like it's some good thing. The truth ...

a great ending to one of the, if not the greatest, anime series of all time. The final episode of attack on titan stayed true to it’s realism and gave us an ending that we could have expected, but still surprised by how well it was executed. The animation, music and plot are all excellent. This ending really makes you question values and morals as you have to really think and try to understand Eren Yeager’s character to find the answers to your questions. All of my daily life worries and thoughts disappeared because of how focused i was on the plot. ...

To celebrate the end of this phenomenally exhausting series, i would take this chance to finally explain some of the plot points on why i think this series, overall, just isn't good fiction!

Firstly, let me just say this: Attack On Titan works wonderfully as a thriller-survival anime. The first three seasons are some of the best and the most original concepts of horror i've ever seen in this medium. But when the infamous "Final Season" starts, then suddenly there's this huge shift of tone: from a grounded, very tactical and scientific approach, into a grandiose, very political and eldritch perspective, this series just falls apart.

My ...

Alright, so let's talk about the ending of Attack on Titan. Honestly, I was pumped for it, but it left me feeling kinda meh. The pacing was like a race to the finish line, and I couldn't shake the feeling that they were just trying to tie up all the loose ends in a hurry. It's like they hit fast-forward and skipped over the emotional build-up we'd been craving.

And the characters, oh boy. They took some turns that left me scratching my head. I mean, we've seen these guys grow and evolve throughout the series, and suddenly, it's like they pulled a 180 on us. ...

A ten year long journey comes to an end. The first thought in my mind after watching the last episode was to start re-watching it from the start. This story was like no other. From the first lines in the first episode, the ending was already decided. There is so much depth and beautiful story telling in this series that I would recommend it to anyone. I'm glad it's over.

I haven't liked Shingeki no Kyojin's story ever since the big reveal at the end of Season 3. I felt that direction was a massive letdown from where the story was taking us at that point; and even though yes all of the hints were there, I felt that taking the show in the direction it went stripped it of a lot of the best things that made it what it was in the early goings of the series. Going in the direction that the show went turned most of the themes it was trying to discuss into repeats of themes ...
