Ah yes, the psychopath magic junkie shouta femboy isekai. Since only 3 eps are out, imma keep this short. Had 0 expectations, was pleasantly surprised. It's a super fun shitty isekai, with a bland as fuck premise, but great execution.

This anime isnt the standard 'dense, wimpy limp-dick blushing MC saves everyone and has a harem of stockholm syndrome slave girls guzzling on his meat by ep 3'. It focuses more on the magic aspect, and it just works. The MC is busted and the only thing he gives a shit about is magic. The magic aspects and fight scenes are fucking great, given the ... budget. We get to see some interesting magic animation instead of the usual fucking spinny circles we've been seeing in isekais for the past decade. The comedy lands most of the time, and the chibi artstyle segments are a nice touch. There isn't much to say about other characters/world building so early on, the show is mostly MC focused.

I had a grin on my face nearly the whole time watching this one, it just hits the spot. Other than the big bois(tsukimichi, tensura etc), this looks like the only enjoyable (shitty) isekai this season. If you like OP MCs, shitty isekais, or just want an isekai thats a bit different from the usual, give the femboy isekai a shot.

Preliminary review - 7 eps
This is an average no brainer isekai with a super Overpowered protagonist.
He adventures, has fun and most importantly studies magic.
You might be wondering then why give such high scores.
Answer -
The pace of this anime is amazing. They have 2 minutes kept entirely for chibi/fun.
The rest of it is high paced intense story progression.
There is humor, action, magic and for some reason unknown to mankind (harem element).

And the MC actually uses his past knowledge to be better even as a kid.
... Instead of trying to start from scratch like an amoeba.

They waste no time. No dragging on of plot. More happened in 3 episodes of this anime than would have happened in 12 episodes of an average isekai.
No battles dragged on. No long expositions.
The animation and detailing/gag humour is amazing.
Action - 8/10

PS - This is an OP kid isekai about magic. If it doesn't suit your taste, don't watch.

This anime might be a normal generic isekai of the season yes, but it's genuinely very good and fun. While the premise isn't that as unique as most isekai these day, the world building, story telling, and execution is very well done. Making an Anime fun isn't something to be glance over, this one is refreshing and a joy to watch.

The main reason why it's pretty fun is the animation creativity. They use different kind of animating and keep switching things up while also perfectly fit for the scene to not get you bored ... (similar to Bocchi the rock etc.). The show also has its own unique animation style, which can be a good or bad thing up to you. This also count the change of pacing, story telling, and directing [9/10].

The Choreography though is one of the things this show did very well. The sword fighting training clearly shows how good they plan for the fight scene, and every movement and action has a reason to it. This is also true with the magic fight scenes. Each spell casting is thought out of why it's casted, and the way it's cast is also very unique and creative, unlike many shows that's just power blasting everything or just picking a random spell to lower the opponent's hp and win. [10/10]

For the other stuff, the story is alright, there's nothing much to it and a pretty much shenanigan style story right now [7/10] . The character are still very one dimensional, albeit interesting, still got a lot of room to improve [6/10]. The world building while is interesting are still a mess and just insert random stuff right now [8/10]. Production quality is good for an isekai, the animation and OST is good [9/10].

Overall a very enjoyable show. Outstanding for its fight choreography, fight creativity, and animation creativity. Other things is pretty mid as with generic isekai anime, but it doesn't really take away the charm of the show that much.

I wasn't expecting it to be this fun!! 🤩 I'm 5 eps in, we just had a battle with OP moment & I can say: one of the best this season! So let's do this!

Ecchi isn't a great passion of mine, so I'll get his outta the way quick: horny viewers CAN expect treats👍(not from the main kid, thankfully!) Hooray! -- For those who dislike it, I'm happy to inform it is clear in the episodes the fanservice is not the focus. Unlike other animes ... I won't mention 😒, it's easily bearable, maybe because the girls' goal isn't seducing, they're just fighting, and there are no creeps drooling over them when it happens. It's rly just for the fans' eyes to enjoy.

It isn't where the anime focus on -- all viewers will quickly realize --, instead it chooses to put its efforts on delivering an engaging and well-paced story-telling of a tale about a BadAss MF genius with magical abilities whose only goal is to know it all about magic.

How magic-centric Lloyd is depicted borders on mania, not caring about other matters AT. ALL, causing him to have tunnel-vision when it comes to experimenting new things, which leads to - first of all - unplanned but INSANELY OVERPOWERED demonstration of, well, power. His demon friend's reactions to all that are an awesome bonus, too.

All that combined grips viewers on a chokehold, keeping them close until the last episode airs. -- I have zero self-control and crippling anxiety so after watching all aired episodes, I went straight for the manga 👍

I've seen a lot of isekai anime out there, and this one stands out in just how crisp and well animated many essential scenes were. Even the ecchi content is well crafted if I must say so myself. So it came as a surprise to see its low rating of a 6.9 on MAL where other far less cared for isekai stories get away with like a high 7-ish rating without putting in even half the work as this anime clearly did.

Now, is this anime the best isekai? Heck no. But it is quite the contender for the most standardized textbook one out there that ... I could find. I think just overall nowadays anime has gotten quite the bump in quality across the board, making it harder for many well-done anime in general to compete, let alone reach a targeted audience. For this one, if isekai is really your thing, then you may find this to be a pleasant watch as I did to pass the time. You can argue it isn't unique all you like, but it is definitely well packaged to its craft, and I am not just talking about the MC here, but the anime as a whole.

I believe that this show gets a lot of flak for its art style (yes, the main character is drawn girly) but if you move past it, the storytelling is pretty solid, the comedy is hilarious, and it has great animation chops to back up the wide variety of fighting styles seen in the first few episodes. Coming in as someone who just saw this as generic isekai xyz, I was pleasantly surprised by the light atmosphere of the show, in contrast to the main characters wicked attitude. Its complemented with good voice actors and animation choreography. The colors are pleasant to look at, and ... the story is easy enough to understand that you don't need to think too hard to enjoy it.

I think my rating goes down a bit because of some unnecessary fanservice, but its a pretty common trope for isekai nowadays to have so I give it a pass. 8/10

People ranting out need to understand, fantasy isekai has literally exhausted all possible storylines. So i dont expect it to follow any. But to be honest, this is fun and one can easily enjoy it. I like the premise, the animation and the characters. They are all funny.

Okay since MAL won't let me post any less words, I would also like to say that this story doesn't really have a story. It's like a never ending MMORPG. The MC has no beef with anyone and neither is there a fixed goal. As the title says, he wants to perfect his magic, that's all. We all ... no there is nothing like perfection.

This anime has amazing animation, fast-paced action with magic, interesting cute characters, OP and little bit crazy MC. I'm really glad that the animation is promising because the magic looks amazing. To sum it up, slightly better isekai/tensei anime than average. It's not boring and I wanna know what will happen in another episode. It's refreshing that the MC isn't boring buff OP Kirito but cute funny mage. I enjoy his OP skills and how he uses them. The thing that isn't nesessary is slowly forming harem. I can feel that some cringe and stereotypical things are coming and I hope that they will not ... be so annoying.

With his strange nature, he really likes magic, wants to learn, wants to be hurt by magic, and is a fast learner
makes the story very interesting (at least, these 7 episodes are really good)

I watched it from 3 am to 5 am, I couldn't stop laughing at the ridiculousness of the characters there.
Indeed, because the anime is really funny, it is very suitable to watch when you are free or you are feeling bored without having anything to watch

If you noticed the avalanche of bad anime with unreasonably good audio-visual lately (Nanatsuma, Ishura, etc) and were sad stuff with good source like Returner's magic, or silly but entertaining Villainess Level 99 are getting screwed on animation then THIS ONE MIGHT SURPRISE YOU!

We got MC that already stands above most other OP "new life" MCs just by doin what we would all expect, training and developing his skills! Yes he is too OP, but its always used as joke, not plot armor so that makes ... is fine in my book.
What makes this MC special is also his insane obsession for magic knowledge. And I mean INSANE! (YKYK)

There are already 2 FMC that catch an eye. Yandere-ish beautiful and cool maid. And cute and pretty martial artist on a quest to find hot BF.

Where this anime stands out are definitely fight scenes and visuals, that might actually be it, lighthearted jokes, pretty girls and cool fights, which puts it immidiately above average for
The jokes are ok (its not Konosuba, but I didnt force myself to smile either).

Consider that this review is based on comparison to other anime of this sort and after only 4ep.
It scores this high for me compared to those filler anime like S-rank musume or Chiyu Mahou Machigatta, not main anime like Konosuba or Mushoku tensei comming.

This is kinda weird. There is a lot of big booba maids at first, and then it left to mostly one that particularly dotes on MC, which is nice, but why is he so feminine? It just, man, he is too uncomfortably feminine to be a vessel for projection. I have easier time to empathize with some female characters, than with this.

Story is ordinary wish fulfillment of obtaining cheat powers, and it is ok at that. At least there is no boring minute long lore dumps with some arcane made up rules for magic. Instead it is combat, cool magic animation, nice visuals and stuff. ... So far it kept mostly to display of his flashy cheat magic. No political, or any really, struggle beside his exploration of magics with some humor.

It is little disappointing that boob department, although is present, is severely understaffed, and kept at bare minimum screentime. In other words, fanservice is just too lacking, if you base your expectation on first episode.
