Similar premise: a young new recruit leaves their old life behind to join a team of people living on a small airship--a diverse cast of members with different roles, ages, backgrounds, etc. Some time is spent showing what life on board is like for the team, and other time is spent on the ship's journey around the world. Note that Eureka Seven is a darker show directed at an older audience than Pokemon Horizons, and includes themes of war and death. Both shows are about discovering the world and its truths just as much as discovering the self: the main characters grow a lot as their journey progresses.
