Released in 2011 as a manga series and then in 2015 adapted into a hit anime series, Prison school follows the misadventures of 5 male students in an almost all female school. We are going to show you the best figures this show has to offer.
5. Prison School FuRyu Meiko Shiraki Hot Version Figure
The figure opening our list is a figure of Meiko Shiraki which comes from FuRyu as a part of their unique line of Japan's latest hit trend - ramen lid stoppers. This 13 cm (5.11 inches), PVC Meiko figure was released in March 2016. Meiko, vice-president of the Underground Student Council, is depicted here sitting attractively while sporting her signature whip. This figure is a special “Hot Version” which features a unique facial expression. To own this Meiko figure you will need around 2,970 yen (~29 US dollars).
4. Prison School Union Creative Hdge Meiko Shiraki Figure
On our number 4 spot we have a figure from Union Creative and again it is a figure of the Underground Student Council’s vice president Meiko Shiraki. This is a completely pre-painted ATBC-PVC figure with some ABS parts. The Meiko figure is a part of Union Creative’s Hdge line. The 25 cm (9.75 inches) tall figure depicts Meiko in her signature outfit with a seductive pose in which she stomps the stylized mini figure of Andre. The details on the figure are just exquisite and they imitate real fabric nicely. The sculpting was done Ishizaki Saori while the colors were done by Monoris. The figure was released in January 2016 and to own it you will need from around 9,120 yen (~89 US dollars) to around 13,620 yen (~133 US dollars).
3. Prison School Union Creative Hdge Hana Midorikawa Figure
On our third spot we have a Union Creative version of Underground Student Council’s secretary Hana Midorikawa. This Hana figure will be released in October 2016. The figure itself is a ATBC-PVC and ABS figure that is 23 cm (8.97 inches) tall. The figure is part of Union Creative’s Hdge Collection. This figure shows embarrassed Hana having a wardrobe malfunction. Hana's predicament is based on a new illustration done by Akira Hiramoto. Hana was sculpted by Keita Kawai and the colors were done by Monoris. She will cost around 18,120 (~177 US dollars) so be sure to check the figure’s page somewhere near the end of October.
2. Prison School Wing Meiko Shiraki Catsuit Version Figure
In second place we again have a figure of the root beer drinking Maiko Shiraki . The figure was released by Wing in March 2014. This 1/7 scale Meiko figure is 15 cm (5.85 inches) tall and it is made from PVC. The Meiko figure is a completely pre-painted. Meiko is shown wearing a tight bodysuit that perfectly emphasizes her attributes and curves. Thanks to a few handy interchangeable parts, she can be shown with her suit zipped up or in the process of being unzipped. Beware, if you unzip her bodysuit, underneath, nothing is left to the imagination. Meiko was sculpted by Takaboku Busujima. Bring it home for about 51,195 yen (~500 US dollars).
1. Prison School Wing Hana Midorikawa Figure
Taking our top stop is none other than Hana Midorikawa with a stunning figure from Wing. The figure was released in December 2014. This 1/7 scale Hana figure is made from PVC and it stands 21.5 cm (8.39 inches) tall. The figure was sculpted by Takaboku Busujima. Hana also comes with special medusa parts and alternative hand parts that allow you to recreate her signature medusa stare pose! The Underground Student Council's top idol, Hana, can enter your collection and watch you scornfully from the shelf for only about 67,270 yen (~657 US dollars).
