The similarities of both these stories come in the strength of their drama and anyone with even a little bit of craving for a drama should read both of these titles. The similarities of both of these stories come from the same story element of a character who has a limited time left to live. In both cases a character has their life span limited on way or another and the story follows those characters as they find ways to fulfill their last days on Earth, they both go through several stages of emotions that burst out when someone knows that their time is nearing it’s final. A female main character is present in both stories, a character who is there to witness that other person live their shortened life. Both these female characters are there to witness the development of human emotions that are expressed through the male character.   

Short stories that will absolutely destroy you inside check. Watashitachi and three days of happiness are both mainly about a guy who wants to die (and is also supposed to soon enough) and a girl, who isn't doing that much better, that suddenly came to change all of that. They both start off kind of slow, but considering their total length it's nothing more than a small factor to hype you up.  

These two manga are short and nicely written romance manga that show the development between the two characters when put under a time limit. 

Both works recount a tale of two troubled individuals who met by a twist of fate, providing each other with cathartic support. Both the stories are short and simple, yet engaging and thought-provoking. They are like two beautiful novellas in manga form. 

Leading characters of both manga know how much time they have left and strive to make the most of it. 

Toki Doki and Jumyou wo Kaitotte Moratta are a gift of warm and deep feelings. They are short in length but huge in the heart. Be happy and carpe diem! 

Both manga deal with protagonists who strive to create great memories before they pass away. 

Although Tokidoki is a one-shot, it still makes people sad, just like Jumyou wo Kaitotte Moratta. Ichinen ni Tsuki, Ichimanen de.? (3 Days of Happiness). The manga both follow a character with issues of having a short lifespan and how they are living their last moments with someone they care about 

Both are somber themed stories that feature characters who don’t have much left time to be alive in this world and are trying to make the best of it as much as they possibly can.  

Both have similar conflict. Both have similar saddest story lines.

Both manga feature protagonists with little time remaining. The protagonists seek ways to fill that remaining time and hope the lives they've led will leave an impression on the people they love. 

They pretty much have the same plot. Both are about a guy living together with a girl for his last few days on earth. Both are bittersweet romance. Jumyou wo...... is more believable as the guy has 3 months to live whereas in Half & Half, the guy only has a week. All in all both are very good. 

Both are about a person who only has a certain amount of time to live, and both of them involve another girl dropping into their lives and leaving a profound impact. 

Same concept of relationship development where time runs out in the end.  

Almost the same thing (if you disregard the selling your life thing), but longer. Takes you through the life of the charecters up until that point, rather than just starting off from when they are in college.  

Both Oyasumi Punpun and 3days of happiness really give a life lesson that can really be engraved within us. Both really help question us about... our happiness. They both help us explore the elegant side of life that we aren't seeing. 

Both have a final Sad, romance,depression 

both stories question the meaning of life and the point in living both are tearjerkers  

Both manga are focusing on feeling lack of happiness and ending your life. Both Goodnight punpun and 3Days of happiness give us reality check and question our selfs, are we even happy with our lives? Contains suicidal topics and negative thoughts about life. 

Both are tragic love stories, written from the same author. Both male leads are in their twenties and have nothing to live for. In the former, he sells all his life except for three months to a mysterious store, and is now under observation by a woman who works at the store. In the latter, a man who is given powers to control people to suicide, designed to save his seventh target, wanting to give her life meaning before he kills her. By doing this, however, gave both protagonists a meaning in life, even for a short while. 

A are manga by the same author, it tackles the themes of enjoying life vs how much time you have left from a different angle. Romance also has its place.  

It talks about life and death in a realistic manner. 

Both story has this quiet noise with the two main character talking with each other through the course of the story, draining the noise of other characters. Deeper, both is a journey of two characters in finding the definition of life and happiness. 

Melodrama about a young protagonist and about having only a limited time left being alive - and how to the remains of it.  

This two series are an emotional rollercoaster people can relate to. Both deal in the matter of appreciating life and loved ones. Both have the same premise of the character with limited lifespan and how they take it upon themselves to use it as well as possible. It's short but sad. An easy read material with light drama to take on 

These two mangas show the story of two people who spend their time together knowing that there is a fated end to their relationship 

Both are short and will make you cry in the ending 

Extremely similar vibes and setup about how a person gets a second chance at life (spoiler: Not exactly a second chance here though) and above all, both have the most satisfying ending ever 

Both have great main characters and incredible endings with a similar feel of inevitable hopelessness throughout. Both have the concept of time running out and both have great last few chapters that will leave you feeling empty and glad you read the manga. 

Both started with the male lead in a state where they find living as pointless because of an event that occured in their past. Then by some twist of fate, they have a chance encounter with a beautiful girl, and slowly find purpose and reason to keep on living. Both are stories about what people usually do when they have a limited time left in this world. Both stories teaches us to treasure our lives and keep on pursuing our dreams until the very end, leaving no regret. If you haven't read any of these manga, then I highly recommend that you read them. It's nice to experience sadness and cry once in a while.  

Both are somber and downbeat short stories that can be easily completed in a single day. And both are focused on characters who are young and they have to deal with the harsh realities of life at such a young age.  

Both story depicts a plot about a thrilling, fun, mysterious journey they had ever felt in their life (MC and FMC for both Story) with saddest and depressing destination that have been waiting towards them. They both prove that an unexpected journey gives more Importance, happiness and thrilling moment than the planned farewell destination. Despite knowing the end destination will come, they still strive to achieve happiness throughout their journey. 

Both stories are about making the best out of a bad situation, questioning the objectivity of happiness and two companions enjoying each other's company despite everything else.
