Manga 103989 Kaichou Wa Maid-sama Marriage

I read Kaichou wa Maid-sama ages ago and somehow came across this one-shot. When I saw the cover I was like "This has nothing to do with the original??" You know, I came in expecting cute babies of Misaki and Usui but yeah I didn't get any of that. It's completely not like the parent story, there's no romance and it's not even a school setting. The oneshot is about a blond girl and a black hair boy going somewhere with another ... boy(??) The girl wears cool outfits and pretends to be a detective? Some hugging happens? God I don't know why I completed this, I didn't understand anything since I didn't read "Yuki wa Jigoku ni Ochiru no ka". The score of 5 is very dubious because it's not bad, it's just that I have no idea what I'm reading...

The ending of Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! ended quite well in my opinion. The first 6 chapters of side stories are boring and useless but seeing Usui and Misaki on their honeymoon was cute and the final chapter, chapter 7 was really nice to read and gives you mental peace as the series finally draws to an end. The art was always really great in this series, especially the romantic scenes between usui and misaki, if it weren't for the great art and the romance scenes, I would have given the original series an 7 but it gets an 9 because of the typical usui gets ... his hands on misaki somehow, backs her up, she starts blushing and looks super kawaii, then usui goes in for the kiss and misaki can't resist, maybe im just horny or something but she did a near perfect job with those two characters, similar to yukino and hachiman in oregairu or shinomiya and shirogane in kaguya-sama, no matter how cliche, those two just make the show infinitely better, marraige is worth reading if you are willing to skip around/skim through the useless parts.

This is my first and probably one of few reviews. This isn't a sort of full Kaichou wa Maid-sama after that gives full closure, it's more of a collection of one-shots with little peeks here and there. They are all unrelated but it's all really in good fun. The final chapter would serve that purpose for that closure and is actually pretty sweet.

Overall in terms of an actual review, it doesn't have much new content. It was just nice to see the characters and their lives after high school. The stories are like I said previously, unrelated. The art is pretty consistent with the ... original style. The characters are all the same. I did enjoy it because it is a little more content for one of my very favorites from the shojo genre.

If you're looking for more plot I would look elsewhere, maybe even the mangaka's other works. But if you're like me and here for any new content about the characters, read on! It's really short!
