Manga 105901 Ijousha No Ai

While really difficult to read, this manga perfectly captures what it is like to be a victim of a psychopath. You're completely helpless against your captor in a way that nobody would ever understand unless they've gone through the same thing themselves. I felt really bad for the MC​ throughout the story and was really worried that the manga was going to come to an end with a horrible conclusion. I'm happy to say that the ending was actually pretty well written and tied up loose ends nicely. The art is very moe which contrasts with the content well. Overall a good read that can ... be finished in a few hours.

With such a straightforward storytelling and pretty simple artstyle, it may be no great piece of art, but overall keeps tension well enough to keep us invested.

Many would consider this manga being too, so-called, ‘edgy’, because it shows twisted thinking of a psychopath and its victims in a very awkward way, and that may be very hard or even grueling to read for many people. Be ready for a lot of blood, torture, psychological damage and other kinds of violence.

Characters are developed just for the needs of plot progress, which is enough. The manga offers pretty good insight on what the victims of a psychopath ... may feel, particularly fear, grudge or even episodes of insanity and irrationality. The same goes for the other side. We get into the head of a psychopath and her emotions (or rather lack of them). What is especially well showcased, is her behavior, including deceit, obsession, cruelty or fanaticism.

There are also some action scenes spread throughout the story. Some other parts are very hard to get through, however, whether because of too much 'psycho-stuff' is happening, or the exact opposite – blandness of other story elements (there are some parts where virtually nothing happens). The story contains strong psychological/suspense elements, but is weak on other aspects of storytelling.

This kind of story is certainly not for everyone. But, if one happens to be in the target group, it is very likely one may get hooked until the last page. With all the insanity that accompanied the story, it was concluded well enough to be considered decent.

I have a little bit to say. I was able to read 60 something chapters and then the ending (Because this is all I could find/is around). This manga is not a very enjoyable read. The only reason I finished it is because this manga makes you want to know what happens. The art is less than average, the characters are less than average, and the story is decent. The ending is pretty good and wraps it all up.

I regret reading this manga and I recommend avoiding it if you are thinking about reading it. There is so much ... gore, torture, and murder that just makes it horrible. The fucked up things stop for a couple chapters then come back. It's not worth it if you except anything happy to happen.

The MC is a weak ass bastard. The one thing that is clear throughout the story is that the FMC would be easy to kill. Of course the goal of the MC is to kill the FMC because of what she has done to the people around him. But he only tries like twice(?). Mark Wahlberg has said that if he was on one of the planes that struck the World Trade Center during the September 11th attacks that, “There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.’” I don't want to say that it would've been different if I was there but there is a lot of times that she could've been killed and nothing happened.

The ending is pretty good? It's a "Ten Years Later..." ending but I think it wrapped up that pile of shit with a bow. It has been a couple days since I finished it, and at first I disregarded the ending because the fucked up parts of the series left me feeling awful. But I did enjoy the ending after I thought about it.

This series made me feel like shit and there are very few reasons to read this. The only reason I am even reviewing this is to give my opinion to anyone that might want to read this, and the only reason I am able to write a decent amount is because I gave this a couple days to forget about the torture and gore and fucked up things in this manga.

The manga is very clear on how it is going to be. If you like gore and psychological and tragedy, you might enjoy this more than me. Even with that said, the story is alright. Most of the chapters is just torture/gore and backstory. You get what you sign up for, so even though I feel the characters are weak, the enjoyment for me was very little, and the art is very lacking, I'd say a fan of the genre may enjoy some parts.

That's why I give this a 4 but I recommend most people to stay away.
