Synopsis

What is a sweet, soft-spoken girl (Ha Li Kang) to do when her brothers, having just learned fencing and martial arts, decide to test some moves out on her in order to "tame her" and make her into their "little slave?" She runs to her knightly friend (Te Hu Kang, not related to Ha Li) for protection, of course. However, what happens when, instead of comforting her, he tells her that she is a coward for running away like a puppy who needs constant protection? No, she does not break down and cry like a weak girl. Instead, she resolves to grow stronger. With rigorous training everyday, Ha Li goes from being a scared girl who cries for help to becoming the Jjang (boss of a gang) of the Doberman gang. However, events lead to Ha Li getting in an accident with a truck. Afterwards, she is reborn into the body of a beautiful, but weak, rich girl Aram Han.

Before I begin, I want to state that I haven't read any of Hwang Mi Ri's work except for Hot Blooded Woman and I bloody won't judge this manhwa based on the similarities between her stories.
I believe all of you who are saying that after reading 19 HMR manhwa, the twentieth sucks, because you can predict every twist.

BUT not having read anything like this, I pretty much enjoyed everything.

As for the story:

Lots of dead girls, lots of guys blaming themselves for their deaths, soul-transfering situations, love triangles, hate triangles, almost-rape situations, fighting, cruel stuff.... just the usual.
Although it was surprising in one way. ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (144/183 eps)
I found this story amusing but it dragged on way too long, especially after the mid-climax. It was a little too repetitive and I kind of wished they would have just went on with the ending. The main character is amusing but really stupid, and I began to tire of her playing dumb, a person can only go so far in being stupid before they start to become annoying. Also, I wished they would have explained the super-natural elements a bit more. I feel like the only reason I read it to the end was just to see if they explain exactly whats going on, ...

Long-running series are interesting. Coming across a 20+ volume series, your first thought is probably "it MUST be good if it was so popular that it ran for so long!". Enter "Hot Blooded Woman" (HBW), which stands at an impressive 24 volumes. The description promises a lot: a strong female protagonist that goes up against all odds to stand at the top of, uh, local gangs. Does it need to make much sense or be realistic? Not if it's entertaining enough to justify the length.

[Very minor spoilers, because they're inevitable when discussing such a long series. Also, as noted on the author's page, Mi Ri ...
