An underrated masterpiece, truly a wonderful discovery. You shouldn't drop off because of the weird art, because you will be missing so interesting thoughts and perspectives about justice, right and evil, blame, sorrow, madness, loneliness, sadness, and pain, to name a few. Each backstory brings a new light to the story.
It is definitely targeting a mature audience (not so much about violence but about questioning our current society). After reading it, I don't see previously incarcerated people the same way.

This is not a webtoon just to read, but to also question oneself.
- aren't we as individuals too fast to blame a "presumed murderer"? ...

This series has some of the most authentic and realistic portrayals of humans I've ever seen in a webtoon/manhwa. The psychology behind every decision and motivation are fleshed out so beautifully. And by psychology, I don't mean some insane mind games like Death Note or Hunter x Hunter. The author has a natural talent in capturing the glimpses of all the daily imperfections that really make who we are, and displays them in his panels through subtle gestures, facial expressions, and verbal hiccups. One of the best reads you'll ever have, A mark against thee is peak on all fronts i cant imagine how this comic isnt more popular.
I never read something that made me cry and laugh all in the same chapter and the end is just right! At the end Yeop finally has peace not the one he wanted but he has it now and the final panel we see him smile the fist time in years, but we the viewers wonder if he is truly happy or just putting up a front for his friends and family. This is required reading i cant stress enough ...
