I started reading this manga because the main character has one of the best designs I've ever seen, full disclosure
Being a slice of life manga, nothing much really happens over the course of the 50 chapters I've read (the rest are untranslated), but nothing much has to happen. Zawa-san provides an amazing little vignette on high school baseball in Japan, but not the type we'd get from an actual sports manga. Instead, we see the situation of somebody who can't actually participate in real games. Mostly, though, this manga is about little stories and goofy situations involving the titular main character. It's full of laughs ...
