Manga 22551 360%c2%b0 Material

This manga was very good when it came to drama content. I miss it(it was that good), but i don't miss Mio at all. She was so self centered and didn't even think about how Taki felt when she was all friendly and cute with Marui, and when she watched him with an intense longing.
I hated Mio, but i guess that was what made the drama so strong...she felt jealous and insecure, angry and envious about the Hatano or math girl ..but when it came to her and her similar actions with a guy she dismissed them until the very end when she finally ... realized her stupid mistakes.

This was a manga were i'd have been more happier to see the girl getting the stick from both of them and leaving her on the curve for a bigger sucker to take her on. She deserved nothing for the way she acted but her guy Taki was a perfect gentleman to her and stayed true to his feelings.
As for Marui, i wouldn't want to have a guy like that as my friend or in my circle of acquaintances, his hypocrisy levels were off the charts and made him a slimy character that wanted what others have by any means possible(stealing).

This is a great manga if you want to hate some of the characters for begin selfish and duplicitous to damn right hurtful to the ones close to them.

For Romance shojo style with a bit of slice of life manga, the series as a whole has been mixed for me personally. A good start with a clear establishment of a set relationship is always a fun read. Especially the aspects of being in relationships and the struggles with it. And this was for the first 10 chapters. The rest, well mixed. The main two leads were, for me great at the start. Getting their feelings across straight with the Male lead having the past problem while the female lead accepting those problems and moving on together.

Then Marui came along. Look, I get it. ... You need conflict, drama, and tension to move a story or narrative forward to lead into something. And I also get those feelings don't easily disappear, but the author during the second act practically went with a pretty bad way in terms of showing and handling it. The two leads are not in the clear either seeing as both of them made some pretty dumb decisions that only confused everyone around them.

Overall, it felt like to story was dragging out a conflict that really should have taken a chapter to address and iron out. And in doing so possibly moving on to the aspect of the relationship the two leads themselves face while also having the cast getting into relationships themselves that would better support the leads. Like you know, communicating your feelings, still having Marui have felt but moving on with the new 1st year girl, go into more aspects about male leads past relationship while the two leads coming to terms with each other and growing together.

Tldr, First half was intriguing while the last half dragged with the conflict being painfully obvious on all sides. Still though, it was inoffensive and was just average overall.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the other two reviews for this manga- I am not a hater, I honestly judge manga. And when I added this manga to my manga list I gave it a one upon completion. It is bad. I read this manga over a long period of time so I can't remember some details too clearly, but overall it wasn't good, not at all.

Art
The art is mediocre, the main character, Mio, looks like any other main heroine picked up off the street. She isn't cute. Taki looks a bit refreshing but other than that he is average with his ... generic black hair. It is almost always like that in shoujo manga, the main male lead has slightly messy black hair and the main female lead has average light colored hair. The art wasn't bad but it wasn't great either.

Characters
Main female lead who can never seem to tell the guy she likes what she's thinking about, your generic every day heroine in every aspect. I cannot remember any defining features about her at all.
Main male lead is kind of cooler than the female lead, but for once he isn't a jerk. He isn't that ignorant either. But he does jump to conclusions sometimes to create drama. I can't remember anything remarkable about him either.
There are the two sidekicks of the female lead, they have their own live but the story rarely concentrates on them, they are just there for moral support. The other side male characters are there for comedy or to bring the two leads together.
There is an annoying (spoiler I guess) rival. I don't think that spoils much it happens in every shoujo known to man. He acts like every other rival.

Story
Such a generic story. I thought at first it was going to be different, but no, I was wrong. Drama is created over and over again without purpose. There is rarely a happy moment and if there is one it seems fake and I cannot even feel happy for them. There are also all of the signs that something is going to go wrong by the next page. Most of the drama is caused by the male love rival and for a bit a female love rival. Typical. I never grew to love the characters. It was all very boring, it was a pain to read.

Overall
Don't waste your time reading this manga. You will get nothing out of it. You could read another shoujo manga and it'd be like you already read this one. It is full of tropes and uninteresting characters. Stay away from this manga.
