MY FIRST TRY ON A REVIEW! May contain little spoilers (can't help it!)
Doubt! is a great manga made by Amano Sakuya. It's about a guy named Ichiru Kanzaki. One day, his dad gave him a mission, about finding his illegitimate daughter. Then this and that.
As Ichiru reveals more of the girl's personal life, it was revealed that there was more girls that possibly could be his sister. Then this and that.
Later on, he finds out who really is his sister. Then ending. Bam.
This manga actually has a pretty low amount of cliches, and the cliffhangers are pretty good. But the characters are pretty enjoyable (especially ... the protagonist.)
Let's get to the good part of this review.
STORY - 10/10
Usually Harem-related stories has a pretty CRAPPY plot. But this manga's plot piqued my interest. The plot progresses on an average pace, which is pretty interesting. Atleast, it isn't the usual harem plot where the MC is dense as hell! Instead, it is about a shut-in with a terrible childhood being sent in a mission to find his father's illegitimate daughter.
ART - 10/10
The art is a masterpiece! The details are pretty amazing, the design of the eyes are pretty nice, it fits all the character's traits.
CHARACTERS - 9/10
This really amaze me, it wasn't the kind of harem that has the tsundere, kuudere, and this and that.
There's the two-faced class rep, Toudou Asuka, acts like a mature girl in school, but was actually a shy and cute girl... Well, I meant the opposite. She acts differently outside, seemingly like a child that complains everytime. She secretly works part-time in a maid cafe thingy.
There's the two-faced 'prince', Mizuki Mana, acts like a prince that everybody admires at school. But once she steps into the outside world, she suddenly changes to a shy and cute girl! (for real this time.) She is shockingly girly! She would become Wonder Mask (a mascot character popular with the kids) outside school.
Then there's the loli troublemaker, Tachibana Aya. She simply causes trouble everywhere to get his 'real father' to notice her. Which Ichiru cause to raise some suspicions about her. She was revealed to live alone in a park, in a tiny box, which is pretty pitiable. The most likely target to be his sister.
Then there's the detective, Ichiru Kanzaki. The main protagonist of this story, he may be a little dense to their love, but he is a good character with interesting characteristics. He is a detective-like person, unusually really sharp, good at lies and a terrible (to me) childhood. Kinda reminds me of Keima from The World God Only Knows. Nothing much I can say about it. Except that he has a playful cousin and a normal father.
ENJOYMENT - 10/10
Really enjoyed it. That's all.
Overall - 9/10
Sometimes, there would be bad harem mangas, sometimes there is good harem mangas like this. It was a bumpy road to the answer about who is his sister. Yet, I gave it a 9 because it had some flaws. Like the characters, especially Toudou Asuka and Mizuki Mana. Toudou Asuka is a little bit tsundere which is pretty cliche. Mizuki Mana totally blushes at ALMOST all freaking times!!
That's all, hope you enjoyed my first review.
