Manga 91514 Kishuku Gakkou No Juliet Reviews

Well, I usually don't read manga, because I think or at least I thought they weren't to be compared with anime. But, Kaneda Yousuke made me think otherwise.

I just watched the anime, so the story seemed interesting, though I was surprised to see only the first ~18 chapters were adapted in a one cour anime. So I decided to give the manga a try, since the manga seemed to have so many things left to tell.

So here it started, marathoning the chapters, I just fell in love with the characters, the carefulness with which they were drawn and the high level of details, top tier ... quality. Their daily routine and how the characters slowly built their relations, growing closer with each chapter passing by, passed all those feelings onward to me, also making me grow closer to them. Such a magic feat is not easy to do, never thought I would love a manga this much, I guess this was only made possible by the author hard-work and I respect that.

As I said before, my enjoyment exceeded any level, the ending was great, nothing else I could ask for, so as a overall rating, it's obviously a Masterpiece, a 10/10.

Boarding School Juliet

If anyone asks for Manga recommendations, this one will definitely be up in my list. It had me laughing in tears from all the funny characters, sitting on the edge of my seat from all the intense moments, and most importantly, had me smiling at the beautiful love story of Romio and Juliet. I have only recently started reading manga (the list in my profile is incomplete though). However, after finishing Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet, I suddenly found myself craving for more. I'd like to believe that Shakepspeare himself would be proud of this.

I only wish it were a bit longer, but nonetheless, ... it was a total masterpiece. There is no reason to not read this piece of art.

A beautiful manga At the time I started his anime not expecting much but in his first chapters he began to hook me up little by little that I could not wait 1 week for Anime and I went to manga .. From there began my adventure for this manga. Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet is a school manga that shows us protagonists of some classic characters Romeo and Juliet you could say that it is a plot already widely used and recycled but by following the story you see that it is not. The author shows us what the best of manga ... is for me and it is the variety of characters so charismatic the secondary are very good since in the course of the manga these are related to any of the 2 protas and show us their development with them What I think is great. Another strong point is how the author makes it clear that it is a love story of 1 single couple not of a love triangle, so you expect a solid love story between Romeo and Juliet without any third party getting in the way. This story follows the classic of a forbidden love where they, being recognized characters in their school, try to hide their love as well as possible, but they know that they cannot last like this forever, so their main objective is to "Change the World". The whole manga is focused on this in how the protas want the world to change and accept their relationship. In the course of the manga everything becomes more difficult and new characters that influence the story and especially in the evolution of the protagonists come out this seems to me a very good point to make the secondary are not episodes and are characters that have importance with them. Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet is a school manga so it has many episodes "Slice of Life" where we see the day-to-day life of the protas hiding their relationship or relating to other characters at school but this point is not heavy the author knows how to plan these situations so that it does not look like "Stuffing or something unnecessary" this makes following the Manga very comfortable and does not feel heavy to follow; other than that it puts "shonen" arches or action scenes that look great from my point of view. In my personal opinion I love this manga is one of the first that I followed and I feel very nostalgic that it ends, for my part very happy with everything and it is a wonderful manga and that above all you take a very big affection to all his characters, as soon as Drawing is very good not becoming a work of art but having a more than decent level, the story is great moves slowly but flows through its characters so it is consumed very well. Anyway this was my review, from here I am with tears in my eyes seeing how one of my favorite works has come to an end ... Until forever Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet has been a wonderful manga.

This really, really is an awesome manga. This manga has a comedy and romance quality that is really strong and thick. Each page can fascinate the reader with the pleasure of reading this manga. Comedy that makes readers laugh out loud. Romance that makes readers want to feel the taste of youth love. As well as other parts that can make the reader surprised, touched, sad, upset, and all emotions mixed when reading it.

One Hundred and twenty-one chapters is a large number. Even so I still want to experience the magnificence of their school life. This manga can provide a very fun school atmosphere. Even ... though there were occasional problems and disputes, they were all resolved well.

I read this manga at first because I remembered the anime I had watched several years ago. I happen to be diligent in reading manga now. So I tried this manga. And the results are really satisfying.

The Ending of this manga is different from other manga or anime. There was a sense of satisfaction in me when I read this. Of course, because it was the end that i expected. They live happily and their goals are achieved. The things that i need maybe another spin-of about their school life.

The characters in this manga are also drawn very interestingly and beautifully. Also the characteristics of each character in it as well as its character development as expected. Reon and Siber are my favorite characters.

In conclusion, this Manga made me include them in one of the best manga I've ever read. And I'm really grateful to have read this manga.

Don't expect a really good review, this goes all to my opinions and experience about the manga and this is my first time making a review so yeah, Anyways the comedy is really funny, its so top notch that its going to overtake Konosuba in my opinion, ,the romance is good, you know the good ol classic cliche in every romance anime well they kinda have one but its kinda different because the plot is really amazing and lastly the plot, the plot is really good and i don't want to spoil anything but its kinda like nisekoi so yeah, The art is great it's ... just normal not amazing or not ugly it's just normal, The Characters well they are pretty well developed once such event happens well... it does have a bit of drama i think?, Overall its 10/10

Boarding School Juliet is a typical shounen romcom that's cliched, predictable, but still a fun read overall. And that's why its a masterpiece imo.

Art - The art is fantastic. It’s visually pleasing to the eye, has a great amount of detail put into it (backgrounds, expressions, etc) and I absolutely love the character designs. Even when the series transitioned from a monthly to a weekly, the art still holds up impressively. The art also captures the tone of certain scenes beautifully ranging from comedic moments, dramatic moments, and action sequences, making you “feel” the vibe each scene plays out. It also has a good amount ... of fantastic spreads and chapter covers that make feel excited every time I turn the page.

Story - The story is inspired from the classic tale, Romeo and Juliet, where Romio and Juliet are secret lovers whose goal is to unite and seek peace within their rival cities. I love how the series manages its tones: comedy for laughs, drama for seriousness, action for awesome, and fluffy romance for wholesome goodness. I also love how the story is constantly engaging, as it slowly builds its setting and character relationships, and each arc is constantly moving the plot forward. The payoff each arc has is really satisfying.

Characters - The BSJ cast is the strongest aspect of the series, and that is due to the various dynamics. The characters have their unique quirks, personalities, and each of them get a chance to shine in the story, even if it is a small part. The character relationships is what shined because I love how they slowly start to grow and influence each other, and I honestly didn't feel there was one character I genuinely did not like. The cast is wonderful, from main, to supporting, and antagonists alike, the author did a good job at putting a lot of care into writing well written characters and giving them a place in the story.

Enjoyment - I really enjoyed reading BSJ. After giving the series a reread, it definitely deserved to have a spot in my top favorite mangas overall. Its the kind of romcom series that speaks to me and I enjoyed investing my time in it, whether its the art, the story, or the characters! And that is what this manga succeeds at, being really fun!

Conclusion - So why do I think Boarding School Juliet is a masterpiece? Well, its able to take a generic, predictable, and formulaic romcom and make it really fun and engaging. When it comes to most shounen romcoms, a lot of the criticisms are towards how cliched they can be (love triangles, how long till they get together, overused character tropes, etc). BSJ is no exception in having its fair share of cliched moments, but what makes it stand out to me is how they are written. A lot of BSJ's great moments are engaging and fun to read through, and while some may think its good and nothing special, to me, its amazing in every category.

If you haven't given Boarding School Juliet a read, I highly recommend it to any romcom reader out there. Its fun, interesting, and awesome to read through. The series also lasted roughly 119 chapters, so if you don't want to read a romcom that's 200+ chapters long, then this series is for you!

Looking for some cute school romance packed with fanservice and cute girls? Look no further, because Kishuku is just the manga for you!

Story: 6
The story is nothing we haven't seen before: a forbidden romance, in which the two leaders of rivaling clans/dorms fall in love and must be careful to keep their relationship a secret. Cue misunderstandings, hijinks, and characters going to comedic lengths to hide their budding romance. There's nothing wrong with the story, but this is definitely not the manga's strong point.

Art: 8
I have no complaints about the art. It's cute and well-drawn. The backgrounds are gorgeous. Snippets of ecchi and some ... frames are drawn just for the sake of fanservice, so there's good and bad parts about it.

Characters: 7
Ah yes, the driving point of this manga. This manga is so jam-packed with cute girl characters that it almost feels like a harem manga. The male lead is a bumbling idiot who stands blindly for his beliefs and morals, and often ends up paying the price by getting beaten up by his own subordinates. The female lead is smol, cute, and pure-hearted. More characters include a super-kawaii second fem. lead, and a pervy glasses guy. There is not a single character you will not have seen in some harem/ shonen romance manga before, but you love them nonetheless.

Enjoyment: 8
There is literally nothing new or unique about this manga. Yet, despite this, you will be eager for each chapter release. It's a formula for success.

Overall: 7
I'm trying to give a fair rating, and originality is an important factor in judging. But if you're okay with reading a manga full of the common tropes and story arcs, then give it a shot. You're bound to enjoy it.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet, or Boarding School Juliet, although was a rather enjoyable experience to read, does not fall into my category of an outstanding romantic comedy, but rather as your typical cliche romantic comedy story.

Similar to the original "Romeo and Juliet" story written by William Shakespeare, protagonists Persia and Inuzuka are the leaders of the rivaling House White Cats and House Black Dogs respectively. And exactly like the original story these two get together and become a secret couple, doing everything they can so no one but their most trusted ones know of their forbidden relationship.

Boarding School Juliet is similar to many other Japanese ... romantic comedies with having two lover protagonists go through many trials and events while resulting in the strengthening of their bonds. There's not exactly anything special or remarkable about this story. That doesn't mean its boring; it still contains many scenes that can melt the readers heart and wish the protagonists for the best.

But like many Japanese romantic comedies, it lacks a story with depth. There's not much of an overall main theme or lesson being taught. And if there is, it's expressed very weakly and hardly noticeable. Boarding School Juliet is just another story that uses a cute romance story to hook the reader into continuing. While this does have a low risk, there's also a low reward on top of that.

I myself am an avid reader and personally enjoy the romantic comedy genre, considering it as one of my guilty pleasures. If you aren't looking for a strong story with great and well developed characters, then try out Boarding School Juliet. It's definitely a fun and heartwarming experience that is hard to regret spending time on. But if you are looking for the type of story just mentioned, then it is best just to skip this one for now.

Juliet vem como uma obra interessante, por sua proposta baseada no clássico de Shakespeare, e também, por colocar o casal a namorar logo no começo da obra, por mais que o namoro deles seja daqueles de ficarem envergonhados ao segurarem as mãos, é legal ver como a relação deles vai evoluindo, já que tem que ser tudo por de baixo dos panos, e ao mesmo tempo os outros personagens também vão ganhando seu desenvolvimento.
Em certo momento, pode se tornar cansativo ler o mangá, tendo a impressão de que a história não está indo para frente. Mas eu lhes garanto ... uma coisa, ela está. Não se trata só de desenvolver os personagens, mas de desenvolver o seu carinho por eles.
E é com base nisso, que a reta final de Juliet é algo esmagador para seus sentimentos. São muitas partes emocionantes.
E então chegamos no final. O Japão está repleto de boas obras que se perdem, ou tem finais ruins, mas Juliet não é uma delas, o final de Juliet é simplesmente perfeito. Não tenho como ter reclamações, foi algo que me fez chorar e rir, ao mesmo tempo.
Para os fãs de uma boa comédia romântica, Juliet é uma obra indispensável.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet (2015-2019)

A School setting for effectively Romeo and Juliet. HOWEVER, in this version of events things are played out in a modern world with old ideals (Random Sword fights to settle things). The story doesn't involve the sacrifice of death but shows a more social-political version of trying to change the status quo for a better future of understanding.

During the most part the Romio (Adapted name) from the East in black uniform and Juliet from the West in White uniform go to the academy on an island that separates the two areas which is a false yet unyielding symbol of unity ... after much conflict. Students attend from a very young age all the way to finishing college and are expected from their childhoods to dislike the each other in a black vs white (Not skin colour but uniform) conflict.

Romio and Juliet have grown up together but separately at the same time. They however harbor feelings for each other which in the Manga like the Anime is quickly realised. The relationship must be kept secret going forwards to avoid getting pushed out the school. Although in theory there is nothing wrong with the situation as you will learn past transgression of previous students has had disastrous results in this type of situation.

As the series goes on they learn about each other deeply and all the people around them. Some people find out the secret and are convinced for the best to keep it secret. It comes to a head eventually where a decisive choice must be made by the students in an attempt to change the world. This comes to a decision that involves them going forward with their decision. After many altercations things improve in some ways.

Eventually, we get to a really nice ending that shows the opposite side of the Shakespearean story that is much more satisfying. We even get a time skip to help close things off.

The art used within the series is a really great level of detail with some Ecchi scenes that give a bit of a change up and truth that the real world isn't truly clean. Some people want a pure story like nothing dirty exists in the real world.

Characters are many and they are mostly (the important ones) developed with great detail and care. We learn about so many people on such a deep level that you feel you could be their friend since you know so much about them.

Aside from Romio and Juliet they are surrounded by a close knit bunch that through adversary and sometimes against their own desires do work forward sensibly to change the world. Many truths about people comes out to which some are good and some are bad. They however, in the attempt to change the world work through forgiveness and rectify the state of things as they go forward.

The series in all is extremely enjoyable and aside from a slightly rushed ending is 100% worth a read. There were moments I felt a tightness in my chest as I read what was happening. Towards the middle set and beyond times I was getting teary eyed which caused me to react. The scenes in places that filled you with a genuine joy that makes you think being in their world during this time would have been an absolute pleasure to have joined their plight.

Overall, this is an awesome series that puts you through a deep set of emotions and brings you close to the characters on many levels. It has left a long last impression on me as a reader.

I would love to see the series get a full adaptation of anime and if I could fund it I absolutely would.

If you want something similar try reading Ore ga Ojousama Gakkou ni "Shomin Sample" Toshite Rachirareta Ken. This is a really nice story about the naive world the wealthy live in being opened up to the real world in a love story that is hilarious due to its nature and also heart pounding when it needs to be that concludes in a really satisfying way.

Interesting work, this revisitation of Romeo and Juliet. Because even if the characters are called like Romeo (Romio) and Juliet, they are nowhere like their dramatic counterparts. And rightly so.
Romeo and juliet entered the imaginary as "immortal true love" while for anyone reading the original work it's really clear that their relationship was too hasty, and based on looks more than knowledge of each other. All the story takes place in lesss than a week, and Romeo was one of the most vain characters ever, ready to die for his former love, Rosaline, and changing idea just looking at Juliet. The idea of "suicide ... as a protest against the world" quite probably was never in Shakespeare's thoughts, while a lot points to condemning the parents' obstination and the young lovers' hastiness (as friar lawrence warned Romeo and Juliet many times) as the reasons for the tragedy. They never were there to be set as an example, especially in a period where suicide was seen as the ultimate sin.

Ending the ranting, this Romio and this Juliet are quite different respect to their literary counerparts: first, they know each other since they were kids, and they secretly admire each other even if they are enemies. No "love at first sight" but feelings developing during the years, and knowing and admiring each other. After they start dating in secret, well, they don't think about "dying for each other" but they want "to change the world" by bringing peace to their fighting countries. And for bringing peace, you must be alive. So here, the two lovers have a completely different approach and solutions to the problem respect to their counterparts. And it works. Of course it is a comedy, but instead of dying the two stand and fight for their love and their ideals. A welcome change of perspective, deleting the negativity of the tragedy's R&J.
About the work, it is nothing you cannot see anywhere else, but the main characters are good, and so are many of the side figures. They grow - and keep their growth - quite clearly, and it is satisfying to see especially Romio to change his ways significantly from the start to the end. The comedy moments work well, and even if there is nothing really new, the author makes it flow quite well. The good rythm is also helped by the not exaggerated lenght of the manga and low presence of fillers.
Summing it up: it is NOT Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and it is a good thing. Nothing completely original, but put together with care and skill. Recommended.

"There is Nothing wrong with our love"

A truly beautiful story inspired by romeo and julliet but with lots of twists. Its like these two are different themes but still are the same. the story beautifully conveys the discrimination in the world which obviously exists in the world we live also but the author really did convey the human feelings in the right way want to know how? well i won't talk about the start part as it was all for story building but I will talk about the part ... of the elections. As you would have seen ( if you read the manga) that during the elections romio and julliet won over the people just by talking and you would have thought "Oh that could only work because its a manga" but it actually worked because it showed that how easily
a 14-16 year child can easily change their hearts as it required only a few other people to support them and their years of hatred vanished. Now you might have a different opinion and its totally fine.

Now top support my previous point i would come to near the end part during the dance part with char. There you could see that char chose Romio as her partner which enraged the audience and citizens and chars also said to stop all the hatred at once but did the people listen? No they didn't atleast for a year they didn't . See? Adults took around a year to change their hearts whereas the kids only took a few months to get all cozy with each other. Now do you see? How beautifully it showed human nature and their hearts.

Overall I will give the story a 9 as there were some tidbits out of the place but still I enjoyed it a lot.
The art was fantastic like not many manga have that good of art so if you like good art manga definitely check it out.
Characters were pretty good but in my opinion the development of some characters near the end was kinda rushed and some people did not even get any development near the end but still they were likeable so ill give that an 8.

After rewatching the anime series a 2nd time, I decided to come here on MAL to find the source material and see what comes after episode 12. It didn't disappoint.

Story: 8/10
I enjoyed the plot a lot. It was funny, while incorporating drama and suspense. The innocent romance was a plus and it was really fun to watch Inuzuka and Persia struggle along. The only problem I had with the story was the last 20 chapters of the West Arc. In my opinion, it was a little rushed because they basically skipped a whole year.

I liked all the characters in this manga, from main to side. They all had their bits and pieces to add to the story while not feeling like they were there to add space. My favorites were that yandere chick (I don't remember her name) and Akita-kun. That shit was hilarious.

Well, Kishuku gakkou no Juliet is definitely an addicted manga that occupied my days until I finished it. The ending is great, I love this story sooooo much so definitely feel sad when I finish it.

The story is truly novel and fascinating for a love comedy seeker like me. I don’t get the appealing part of this manga when I was reading the first few chapter-it really rare for any love comedy to have a opening like this (Tonikaku Kawaii has similar opening ?). However, the following description of the story and the friendly environment in the academy is definitely interesting to read and ... the daily conversation between MC and Juliet is simply soooo sweet !!!!!

Character:
The development of character in this manga is great, every character is well developed and it make me to think about them even after I finish the manga!!! Miss them sooo much.

Enjoyment:
It is absolutely one of the greatest and novelist love comedies I ever read.

Before I begin, this is a SPOILER FREE review, so do not worry about any spoilers for the story.

For this review, I will go by each category giving my brief thoughts on each.

1: Story - 10/10

The story of this manga is quite simply amazing. It sounds simple enough, and it is, but the story allows for this manga to truly show its genre: romantic comedy. There is plenty of great romance and plenty of great comedy. Honestly, it has such a great blend of each that it does not matter which you prefer (romance or comedy) because either way you will be wholeheartedly satisfied ... with the story. Of course, there is a good amount of drama in here to keep the story moving forward, and the drama that is in here is fantastic in my opinion. The story flows so well and nothing ever seems out of left field. That is to say there are no glaring plot holes or deus ex machinas.

2: Art - 10/10

All I can really say for this is the art style is incredible. Multiple times I just had to pause and admire how good the images and characters looked. Truly great art that helps showcase how much care went into this series.

3: Character - 10/10

If the story is so amazing, obviously that has to mean the characters are pretty amazing too. Because this manga is not that long (which is ok as it does not need to be), most character backstories are rather short and sweet. However, there are some characters with more in-depth backstories (aside from Romio and Juliet) and even these backstories are done justice. The characters are all quite memorable, at least to me, and are all certainly lovable for one reason or another. With so many different characters with different personalities, each shown great care by the author, it would be nearly impossible to read this manga and not like any of them.

4: Enjoyment - 10/10

As you can tell by now with my thoughts from the other categories, I really enjoyed this manga. At first, the chapters were long and it was sort of slow because I had already seen the anime, which is a very faithful adaptation . However, once I got past the parts I had already seen, it was honestly hard to put this down. Took me basically a week to read everything, only because I was busy some days. This is a manga I would spend a whole day reading if I had nothing to do. Of course, by the end I was sad because my time with the characters and the world was over. That being said, if a series is able to make you miss it when you are done, that means the series did its job well in the fact that it engrossed you in its characters and its world. Also, I enjoyed this manga so much that I actually would read the afterwords at the end of volumes and the bonus stuff at the end of volumes, which is something I rarely do as I am never this engrossed in the manga. However, with this manga I could not help but read everything there was, as I was actually interested in Yosuke Kaneda's thoughts and opinions because I loved his story so much.

5: Overall - 10/10

This manga is a masterpiece in my eyes. If you like romance or comedy (or especially both), then I would be surprised if you do not think the same. You can tell how much love Yosuke Kaneda has for this manga, which is not surprising considering he wrote it to express some of his favorite ideas. When an author puts so much love into a story, it is not surprising when those reading or watching the story also fall in love with it. Heck, this is my first review on the website despite being on here for years and having read plenty of good manga and watched plenty of good anime. It is my first review though because of how much I loved the story. I finished the manga at like 7:30 a.m. as I stayed up late reading it, and I knew I had to write a review on it when I woke up.

If you have read this far, thank you for reading the review and I implore you to give the manga a try as I hope you love it just as much as I did.

Like almost everyone is saying that they start reading this manga after watching anime i did the same thing after watching anime why i don't know but my mind cant stop thinking about what happened next what is the end game for them so one option i can think of is reading manga and after i started off man it was so much fun.
But when i finished reading manga it was sad saying good bye too them it wasn't easy.I am going to miss every character specially Romeo and Juliet.
I recommend this manga if you are thinking should i read it or not i will ... say read it man read it.

Kushuku Gakkou no Juliet is a very fun and even surprising manga. But let's go by parts:

The characters are very charismatic and well made. In this, seeing that each one has their vision, objective and way of acting in the matter of Touwa x Oeste makes them very interesting due to having a direct impact on Romeo and Persia's relationship.
Also, it's pretty cool to see that the author owns most of the characters. Growing up from mere secondary characters, to people who deal with their own problems and change from them.

The protagonists, Romeo and Juliet, are very good. Each one has its due development not ... only in the relationship, but even in the sense that it becomes prohibited, which is the rancor between countries.
In this, it's very fun and exciting compared to the few that cause this mindset within the college. Besides being a great couple together :D.

The story is very good. I initially expected something that focused solely on their romance, but I was surprised that they discussed things like heritage of hate or even alienation over the rules that made the read even better.
Of course, like a romantic comedy, the focus is on these situations. Being that the manga is great, because the relationship is growing little by little, but it could be theirs. It even has an excellent ending, whether for the novel or for the issue of conflict.

Art is very beautiful. Having every moment breathtakingly well done, with great action scenes.

Finally, Kushuku no Juliet is a great romance manga with some surprises in its story and great characters to follow. Its only problem is a few episodic chapters that don't add to the story, but don't get in the way of the shine of this great manga.

So, this review will be short and subjective.

This manga is....
Really cute and wholesome, if You wants some romance with a little bit of good quality comedy. This is right choice.
at the beginning of the manga we meet Romio Inuzuka and Juliet Persia and the whole story is about showing their relationship, struggles and nationality discrimination.

Story isn't boring, mix with romance and little bit of action, their struggles inside, outside of school were pretty fun to watch.

School bording Juliet presents the story of the characters and their pretty motives well, and the side characters are not just empty shells that we can't relate to ... in any way, but they're are not that super deep too.

I liked reading it, a lot, if you search for bloody full-action manga, its not for you.
But, if you want some cute. wholesome manga with little bit of action to balance it out. You're in home.

So in conclusion, it's worth the time.

I rarely ever write a review for anything but this manga is just phenomenal man. Watched the anime from like 9/2020 and finally got to the manga by now. I binged this in a span of 2 days and it was such an awesome and unforgettable emotional rollercoaster. Yosuke Kaneda just got me completely hooked up with manga cause this is the epitome of romcom and me being a romcom enthusiast approve 100%

Story(10/10): Shakespeare would come up from the grave to praise this manga. I absolutely adore the ending it was predictable but who cares it felt deserving ... and it was beautiful, absolutely hilarious and a beautiful romcom manga, would 100% recommend for starters that want to get into manga(cause I am one). I genuinely cried like a bitch out of joy after reading the ending like it was predictable but damn it was gorgeous and beautiful and the author even gave me a nostalgia drive making me tear up even more like after all obstacles and roadblocks they finally got together so it felt so goddamn cathartic. The "forbidden love" premise might sound generic for some of the more "experienced" readers but I would recommend it nonetheless just for the fact that it's so wholesome and diabetes-inducing. I don't think this plot is beautifully structured or a one-in-a-century written masterpiece or anything of the sort, but the seemingly directionless nature of the story opens up infinite possibilities that made it so unique in my heart and I adored it all the way. I also noticed that the author executed it as a sitcom rather than focusing solely on the plot which makes it a flexible and dynamic story that doesn't require flawless writing to make it a masterpiece, and hell my boy Yosuke Kaneda nailed it perfectly.
Art(10/10): Juliet is one of the most beautifully designed characters I have ever seen in my entire life and the character expressions are on point to the max
Character(10/10): They all have important roles and none of their potential were wasted just for the sake of plot device and they all experienced great, reasonable developments through out the stories without being rushed by the nature of the story. And the dynamic between romio and juliet just can't convince me that there's a better couple than them. I was a juliet simp from the very moment I watched the anime but I am now simping for her even more now that the manga is finished she's just the perfect waifu I cannot convey how close I was to a heart attack every single time she act cute and clingy.
Enjoyment(diabetes/10): This was by far my best manga reading experience, even if assuming I was an experienced reader I would still love the hell out of this manga for sure. Juliet got me overdosing on sugar with every single of her deredere moments and the relationship between the two in addition with every major obstacle they encounter just made this experience so immersive and progressively rewarding. The antagonists got harder and harder to defeat but this manga has never gone to the "ooh power of love" direction like it was pretty realistic and reasonable which made it the more satisfying to see despite the predictable nature. I felt like one of the students at dahlia academy seeing these two overcome those roadblocks on their way to change the world's beliefs. It felt worth every single second reading and was one of the best experience with a form of media I have ever had. ABSOLUTELY read this if you are into a nice romcom with a sprinkle of drama at the end(okay maybe not a sprinkle but a whole damn package but you get what I meant), I know I am pretty late on the praising but hey it's never too late to simp for an S-tier manga like this right?

What I found fun about this manga is that well it's cliche, but it's a good kind of cliche, and it does enough variation on the formula and characters to make it interesting.

The manga basically is... well Rome and Juliet at a highschool, told mainly from Inudzuka Romeo's POV but while the world's not that well developed, the characters are done quite well.

Juliet Percia and Inudzuka Romeo aren't just simply rehashes of Rome and Juliet. They don't just go head over heels over one another. The manga does it's time to develop their history, develop how they fall in love, but not too ... long. They get the fact that they're interested in one another over with, which is very welcome. The story instead has focused on the two trying to against all odds, get to know each other better and have a normal relationship.

And despite the short number of chapters, the manga's so far actually avoided a lot of typical manga cliche traps despite the setup being cliche. It avoids the harem route, but also avoids the paragon route. There are many girls in Inudzuka's life, but while he's not 100% omg I can't even look at anybdy but Percia, he's devoted, but tempted. It's very human and good writing for a character.

It avoids Percia being a ridiculous tsundere. She is a bit tsundere, but it's an understandable shyness and awkwardness that comes from the fact that she and Inudzuka used to fight a lot.

It also avoids the "liar reveal everything goes terrible" trope. Inudzuka's not an idiot. Well, he is in some ways, but he has friends who don't do heel face turns once they find out.

All in all, the characters are good, the story is fun, a good manga.
