The official website for the Jujutsu Kaisen television anime series revealed on Monday two additional cast for the second season. The anime is scheduled to run for two consecutive cour starting July 6 at 11:56 p.m. on MBS and TBS.


Shouta Goshozono (Ousama Ranking episode director) directs the second season at MAPPA. Hiroshi Seko (Mob Psycho 100) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Tadashi Hiramatsu (Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu) and Sayaka Koiso (Dorohedoro chief animation director) are designing the characters. Yoshimasa Terui (Jujutsu Kaisen) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Akutami Gege's supernatural action sequel manga which began serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump in March 2018. Shueisha shipped the 22nd volume on March 3.

VIZ Media simulpubs the manga digitally with the Japanese release through its Shounen Jump service and shipped the 19th volume on March 21. The Shueisha's Manga Plus platform also began simulpublishing the manga in English in January 2019.
