I think Akatsuki no yona is really similar to Hiiro no Kakera, because in both we see five boys with the same goal: Protect the female lead.

-Both are one weak girl who becomes strong - Both are one girl surrounded with here group of only guys - Both have the guys protecting the girl with their life - Both have a romance going on with the lead male, (Hak + Yona and Takuma + Tamaki) - Both have the male characters being "monsters" that were judged at a young age because of it - Both have the guys "destined" to protect the princess with their lives - and they both have a similar feeling to them
