Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen
The plots of both anime series are quite similar. Two high school students compete to be top in their class, while learning more about each other and slowly growing into falling in love. Both series also feature prideful and stubborn main characters, who are admired by the rest of the student body. They can be charmingly dorky in certain situations, though. While His and Her Circumstances is an older uncompleted animated series, the manga will is worth a try.

both are about two elite rivals falling in love. Karekano is more about the relationship, while in Kaguya-sama the whole battle is getting the other to confess in the first place. Both have comedy.

It is clear that Aka Akasaka has taken inspiration from KareKano to create the conditions for the story behind his masterpiece: - Both protagonists are elite high school students who are "worshipped" by the other students for their looks and exam results - One of them comes from a wealthy family, but has a not so happy personal background. The other one is from a middle class family. - Both of them fell in love with each other and have difficulties in confessing and expressing their feelings - But most of all, the most striking aspect that makes the two works similar is the theme of the MASK, that

The great similarity between both series is incredible, romantic comedy (however one works a formal relationship and the other the construction of a relationship) through characters called "perfect". Under this premise, we will observe the development of the couple and the circumstances around them with touches of personal analysis in each character. Very funny and very romantic.

Both have two excellent students, who are secretly in love, strive for their love. Both of them also have a lot of comedic elements along with a colorful cast of side characters.
