Both deal with trying to help or deal with other ability users that have caused havoc or have their own problems. It has the same premise of possessing an ability that only lasts for their entirety of their high school lives. There are many funny moments as well as many sad stories of each featured character in both animes.
Main characters have unique powers only they can use. Those who have such powers are gathered in one place. Similar powers such as switching bodies, turning invisible and more. Both have comedy, romance and drama. One deals with witches and the other something other worldly.

girls around the mc , mc who how looks a bad person in the beggining and then gets a better person, powers that came out in a teenager age and disapear some years later when they grow in adults , if you like one you will like the other.

Charlotte and Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo (or Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches) focus towards a group of students who have their own supernatural abilities such as teleporting, invisibility, etc. Some characters even have a depressing backstory or life in general yet they keep their heads held high The group of friends or acquaintances set a goal to find other people with supernatural abilities like them to accomplish something important using teamwork
Yu's possession ability is somewhat similar to Yamada's ability of switching bodies bodies with people, . Characters have the potential gaining powers similar to Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo where becoming a witch, allowing them to gain a power.
Both describe the aspirations and fleeting nature of adolescence through powers, with a similar structure

Both are focused on supernatural things happening in the school. The romance of the main couple is great. Though the plots are so different in the last episodes.

Both animes involve teens with special powers, the male MC with body swapping powers, and him being forced to join a club that seeks out other kids with powers after he got caught red handed. Yamada-kun is more on ecchi rom com while Charlotte is more of drama.
