• Both are beautiful coming of age story Yubisaki to Renren lean more towards romance wherelse Koe no Katachi focus more on character development and explores very deep and powerful themes such as bullying, disability, forgiveness, mental health, suicide, and friendship. • Both the anime's female MC is deaf-mute and also kinda look similar in their appearance and behaviour. • Both the anime have different beautiful artstyle, doesn't look generic.

I'm going to be that guy--"A Sign of Affection" and "A Silent Voice" only have one thing in common and that is a character who is hard of hearing. Beyond that, these two series are night and day. A Silent Voice explores the redemption of a former bully and how he seeks forgiveness for his past. One of the people he bullied was a young lady who was deaf. A Sign of Affection is a rom-com about a college-aged deaf student who falls in love with a young man who also goes to her university. The two are completely different in every way, yet they

These two features two young adults, a disabled girl whom both shy and deaf getting into a romance, They also had a somewhat similar but stunning and unique art style and touches into deeper topics( depending if you feel like it did ).
