The character types in both shows are strikingly similar: we have the ditsy one with an epic hairdo, the sensible one with repressed fantasies, and the tiny meme. On top of that, both are comedy gold.

Honestly If you just wanna watch 3 Aquas scream and yell at eachother in an extremely funny casual life without a storyline or isekai. Definately slide over to asobi asobase i have cried laughing at both shows. If you dont watch the series check out some clips at the least.

Although the themes and setting are different but both the animes have same style of comedy e.g. exaggerated yet hilarious face gestures, mixture of childish and adult humour and are peak fun in my opinion.So, I would definitely recommend checking out Asobi Asobase if you liked Kono Subarashi.!
