Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?
The main characters are reincarnated as a monster with video game like abilities in a different world or realm with lots of different life forms. They have memories of their previous life. They both level up.

The Isekai Genre has become very copy and pasted these days and 'Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?' is Blatently cloning 'Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken' ...but it does it well.

Protagonist reincarnated as a monster in a video game world with fantasy and magic. Video game mechanics like obtaining skills and levelling up.

Replace the Slime with Spider and there you go, Kumo Desu Ga Nani ka?? I don't wanna call it a complete Rip-off but there are definitely a lot of similarities and so are some differences as well. Give it a go!!

Both storys tells you about an reincarnated who wakes up in another world having the body of an monster (spider/slime), in a world of fantasy where powers like these on games exist, and the MC isn't really the everyday good guy, although isn't too chaotic If you're looking for a good isekai with a good perspective about the good and the evil, this one may be a good choice. Tell me the truth, u can't stand another good human hero who kills every big bad monster, right? Then let's go, enjoy

-Both MC got reincarnated as a monster -Bothe has a overpowerd MC -Both 9/10

Both animes contain are isekai where the mc becomes a monster, starting at a low level and then increases his strength in next to the exact same way through skills etc

A person gets reincarnated into a spider's body instead of the body of a slime, both of them become extremely powerful, they are basically the same isekai.

Just imagine Rimuru never left the cave and had to fight for his life since lv1, that's this Anime. Unlike Rimuru that met Veldora and became super powerful right away. Kumoko had to start from rock bottom, even getting used to eating other Animals to survive. She didn't start with pain nullification or immunity to damage, she's just a lowly no name tiny Spider. The anime is not as great as Slime Datta ken but I think the comparison is not fair. If you like comedy and underdog stories then you should watch this and ignore the bad reviews. The CG gets critizised a lot but

The clear similarities include the main character reincarnating in a fantasy world as a monster, first waking up in a cave, learning abilities by defeating cave monsters and possessing a robotic female voice in their head explaining game/world mechanics and new abilities. They take place in strikingly similar fantasy worlds that include dragons and demon lords, as well as magic schools. There are some important distinctions between them though. For example, the main character of Kumo desu ga stays in the cave for a considerable amount of time by herself while other characters have stories completely separately from her, while Rimuru in Slime is out

Both characters start off as monsters and they both have a gradual growth of power over their series.

Both main character are ressussited in a fantasy world whith skills points too learn capacities. Both are funny but they can be serious we its need. Both are overpowered.

Both anime start slow and generic but get much better after a few episodes.

Isekai genre anime with reincarnation in monster form (Slime on one side and Spider on the other) Level up system involve. Wtf moments shared between them due to the fact of monster - monster interactions or monster- other race interactions.

Both Story are based on Isekai world. Both MC's got op by increasing levels and getting skills from the start. They got reincarnated as a lowly being but got strong like a god of the world through out the series. If you like One you are sure to like the other one.

Both these anime are isekai with the mc being a non-human creature who treats the world like a game. They also give off a similar vibe with the mc exploring to earn new skills to defeat bigger monsters.

Well,,both are isekaid animes though the story plot are different but i highly recommend "kumo desu ga,nani ka?" if you watched "Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken"....not gonna lie "kumo desu ga,nani ka?" is quite underrated and have low ratings but it deserves a lot more rating and popularity...from my personal view, the animation is quite good and the plot of the story was worthwhile too.i can say that your time is not gonna go to waste if you liked "Tensei shitara slime Datta Ken"

The only similarities between them are both mc are isekai-ed and born in a cave/dungeon. That's all. In term of genre and actual plot, Kumo Desu Ga has better storyline and more fleshed out characters with tons of plot twist.

If you like isekai both of these are pretty good. Nothing serious, they're kinda just fun shows to watch.

Slime and Spider are quite similar, in the obvious way that they were reincarnated as monsters, with a much higher power ceiling than any human. Slime is more focused on comedy and adventure for the most part, rather than the constant fighting for survival that Kumoko goes through. Slime has the benefit of no CGI paralysis demons, though.

Most interesting part about both of anime is that both of mc is born as a low class monster and thrive their way towards the way of op

jika kamu suka dengan anime "Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken" saya sarankan juga untuk menonton "Kumo Desu ga , Nani ka?" dikarenakan jalan cerita yang hampir sama, sifat overpower yang menonjol, apalagi komedi yang di sajikan juga bagi saya menarik dan hampir sama! translate google: if you like the anime "Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken" I also recommend watching "Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?" because the storyline is almost the same, the overpowered nature stands out, especially the comedy that is presented to me is also interesting and almost the same! japan tarnslate: アニメ「転生したらスライムダッタケン」がお好きなら、「くもですが、なにか?」もおすすめです。ストーリーがほぼ同じなので、圧倒的な性質が際立っており、特に私に提示されるコメディも面白くてほぼ同じです!

Similar world building, and protagonist. Plot widens after some episodes, both have light novel source.

So I'm a Spider, So What? and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is very similar, started out with MCs dying and being reincarnated into a fantasy world as the weakest monster in the world. They have to fight their way hard in order to survive. They consume their enemy in order to get stronger, eventually, becoming the strongest monster in the world. Both anime are extremely similar to each other, if you like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime you will like So I'm a Spider, So What? and vice versa

The protagonist is reincarnated as a seemingly weak monster and the progression of them discovering/gaining skills in a game-like fashion. Worldbuilding in "So I'm a Spider, So What?" in the initial season is much more limited compared to "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" because the protagonist stays in a dungeon for most of the season but they are both equally enjoyable

The two are isikais that features a person getting reincarnated into a small enemy, Whom both were spawned in a cave environment. They also end up in a magic fantasy world with demons and stuff
