They both involve having to get used to a new way of living. Starting a new society. Working together and building a society.
Both of these amusing shounen series feature someone with modern-day knowledge thrust into a new world where they have to start over. One ends up in a magical world with technology reminiscent of the middle ages, while the other winds up in the distant future where humanity has reverted back to the stone age.
Main Character gets "transported" to a world that is not quite like the one they came from. Sets out to rebuild/build a civilization from scratch. Finds a village that ends op helping to kick start civilization.
The Anime Known as "That Time I Was Reincarnated As a Slime," is very similar to doctor stone in very similar ways. Before I go into comparing the two titles, I will contrast the two. Doctor stone is a show of Science, following the main character, Senku, on his journey that goes thousands of years into the future after he turns to stone, as well as the rest of the world. Both have the MC start from nothing to build a new society. With Senku, he is rebuilding society with the power of science. With Rimuru, he is rebuilding an old village that used to be run by goblins and making more. Both are great in the comedy aspect and have an OP mc in their own ways (Senku with his brains, Rimuru with his slime copy ability)
