Main protagonist dies and reincarnates into a fantasy world with swords and magic with his previous life's memory intact. Protagonist is trying to navigate the new world based on their previous experiences. Lots of ecchi-comedy moments and has huge character development for the protagonist since after all in Tensei, protagonist is a slime and in Mushoku Tensei, the protagonist is born as a baby.
Both are isekai animes where are older main character is killed them they reincarnation into a fantasy like land, where they still remember there old life. In both main Characters start a new life in this fantasy land with a new body, new name and new world.
Both are isekai with very high production value. Excellent voice casting, art style, direction, etc. Both feature a main character being reincarnated from our modern world into a fantasy world full of monsters and magic. Have fun!
If you like and enjoy Isekai. Go give this one a try. Rudy might not be the best MC so far in the Isekai genre but he's the one of his kind for sure. Rimuru, on the other hand, is one of the best Isekai protagonists out there. The world-building is really well done in both shows.
In both animes the main character failed to do anything in life and promises redemption in the next one, both main characters are kinda overpowered and easily learn the ways of the new world they got into
Both are isekai anime, both have OP Protagonists with action, humor, and magic(now don't be like "it's not a human its a slime" but trust me, if you are that kind of a person still you will like it, cuz I was that type before I watched this), season 2 is ongoing at the time I'm recommending this (march 2021), has an interesting storyline, great detail to the artwork and animations. Actually its better than Mushoku Tensei in my personal opinion. Try it out, 9.5/10

Two are considered alike in terms of ideas which these shows are able to offer. Wishing for a second chance and what could happen if that desire came true. Living as an another person to an another world to fulfill fresh opurtunities, bringing motivation to anyone who will watch it. So why not give it a try? They are both of reancarnetion isekai, characters are so much and interesting (But Slime has more character.) main characters are both of going from retionel ways also Mushoku Tensei is shorter so feel boring is little bit hard. (I love Mushoku more 😁)

They’re both isekai and have been reincarnated into different bodies after dying. They’re both OP and have a questionable way of dealing with different situations. (There’s also the manga So im a spider, so what? That id recommend as its really similar to that time i got reincarnated as a slime, they’re both monsters, They’ve both been isekai’d they have skills that they can use at will and are both OP)

Both are some of the best Isekai to this date, not only do they have great World Building but they got good Animations and Action aswell.
OK, this is the total opposite of Mushoku Tensei, but is exactly like mushoku tensei, if you know what I mean. Can't really explain it, nor with examlples so trust me with a grain of salt. :D

Both feature a main character who dies after an unfortunate accident and they get reincarnated into a world with magic with their previous memory intact. Both have to start at a very weak state and have to slowly grow and learn into their much more powerful state. In my opinion, these two anime are some of the best anime the isekai genre can offer. I will strongly recommend you to watch both if you enjoy one of them
