Honestly, with the two different premises being entirely different, there isn't too much to call out for similarities despite them being both shoujo targeted. But you know what? I have something else to comment on. The power of the "feels" is not one to be underestimated, this idea, that one can feel an intense wave of emotion cascading throughout their body whilst they watch something, and for some reason, this does indeed happen with Todoke and FB. Both are indeed simple, and in fact, have no interesting quality along the lines of a perplexing story, but for a high school love story and a supernatural tale,

I feel like sawako and Tohru are alike in personalities and I think both animes have a way of warming your heart in a special way.
