The premises are, without exaggeration, identical: Slice of Life shows about a high schooled-aged girl (with a hime-cut) who finds herself dealing with severe self-esteem and communication issues, to the point of affecting her overall reputation with her peers much to her dismay. Out comes a classmate, a boy who the girl quickly finds herself falling for, and who successfully identifies her problem. The boy becomes invested in helping her overcome her difficulties, and with his help, the main girl finds the resolve to become more outgoing little by little, making more friends, and eventually becoming romantically linked with her savior. Furthermore, both main girls

MC has difficulty in speaking, Slice of Life. Both female lead MCs have trouble trying to communicate (speak). Both meet a boy who goes on to helps them overcome the communication hurdle and help them make friends and make their High School life happier, but who also like the female MC.

Both series are about a shy girl who meets a boy that helps her to make friends, and consequently the girl falls for the boy. Kimi ni Todoke is more focused in romance and drama, while Komi-san is focused on comedy. Also, both have lovely main characters and romances progresses very slowly.

Both are about girls who struggle to communicate with people but in different ways and also fall under the same slice of life/romance category. Komi struggles to communicate but really wants to talk to others while Sawako has no problem putting herself out there and getting left out but really wants to make friends

Kimi ni Todoke is more of a drama and romance then Komi-san can't Communicate. But they both have a socially awkward female lead who charmes everyone around her!

Both feature an extremely lovable, misunderstood main female character making friends for the first time. Kimi ni Todoke dips more into drama at points while Komi-san is more consistently light-hearted, but many smiles are to be had in both

less severe case + romance if you prefer the opposite of this, try my little moster. you might like the assertive girl haha

Both talk about an insecure girl approaching high school for the first time, and doing so they create lots of misunderstandings, giving their classmates a distorted image of them. The protagonists here suffer from social anxiety, which makes social interactions difficult and awkward. Fortunately both of them will have a gentle and kind classmate who will help them make friends, and could possibly become a love interest...

Both Komi and Sawako have very quiet personalities, with a close guy "friend" that can obviously be much more expressive than them. Not to mention their similar looks and other seemingly cute and shy traits, except Kimi ni Todoke grows to be a bit more expressive and romantic than Komi-san.

Both animes shares a shy girl with communication issues as main character. And both of them these girls are helped by a boy to overcome her problem and begin enjoying her school life. At some point love will start growing between them and.. etc. Komi san is a romance centered shounen with lots of comedy and Kimi ni Todoke it's a romance centered shoujo (saying that sounds kinda redundant).

Similar feel, with both anime being school setting slice-of-life/ comedy with huge helpings of wholesomeness. Female main characters are also fairly similar, in that they have have challenges with socialising, have alternate "cartoon" forms and are highly likeable. Komi-san is a more light-hearted, comedy-driven anime compared to Kimi ni Todoke however.
