Both shows start with the MC initially having a peaceful life until a girl who belongs to a criminal organization got the MC involved and dupes the MC. Despite all that the MC decided to join said criminal gang and the girl sort of become his love interest. Both are set in a lawless town where everyone does illegal things and there is a lot of action with gunfires, loads of killing and blood. However, Cyberpunk is way more edgier considering it have some adult content in this series. Cyberpunk also takes on a different direction halfway through its show as the MC of black

Both share stylish visuals,storytelling and also lots of action as well too. And a mc getting caught up in the world of crime as well too.

To me, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners feels like a more modern version of Black Lagoon to me. Both have the exact same premise, with the MC joining a group of people who don’t do the most legal things. Both have the same amount of strong language as well. However, there are some differences. Black Lagoon is more episodic and not as gory as Edgerunners. That and they have very different settings. However, if you liked Edgerunners, I’d suggest Black Lagoon next.
