Pray/Annie have a similar relationship to Miksasa/Eren. Both give a sense of dread as many characters are killed. The human race has to face a race that is much stronger than them, but luckily they have enhanced weapons.
In both worlds, humanity is struggling and barely managing against a great threat that are capable of wiping them out. Not much is known about either threats. Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) is medieval like and has humanity trapped in a city defending against the giants/titans. Knight Run on the other hand has advance technologies, but they also use swords. It's also set on a MUCH larger scale. Instead of a city, it's more like planets and space, with planets like the walls and regions. Like the titans, there are different kinds and some that are cunning and dangerous.
