Easily one of my top or first favorite anime. The adventure you embark by watching this show will NOT leave you disappointed. Interesting characters, interesting story, interesting plot... I can honestly talk about this anime all day! To put it simply, Black Lagoon is a tale of a bored Japanese business man who decides to join a group of mercenary pirates within the southeast/west of Asia. From doing raids, to smuggling goods, assassinating, the Black Lagoon company does it all, and does it well.

You probably heard of this anime before from a friend or a youtuber. Believe me when I say this, this is an absolute necessity to watch. The beginning of this show is terribly slow and has a terrible plot, its whats next that matters. For that sole reason alone, this show gets a 10/10 without a doubt if you are able to push through this first season and make it to the ending of season one or make it to season 2 "Clannad: After Story." I absolutely guarantee you will end up with tears by the end of it. The ammount of build up from watching the first season is really, really well done.

Amazing.

Beautiful music, incredibly well made characters, and an enjoyable mysterious story. If you mush those all together perfectly, you make what you call a well done dish.

Do you like action? Do you like 14-18 year old high schoolers looking like 30-50 year old men tatted up and like to beat the living sh*t out of people? Well, give this show a go because not only would you find yourself watching awesome fight scenes but also surprisingly well built characters.

I have never seen an anime which is like this one, it's incredibly unique. The common saying of "emotional damage", is truly a understatement to what the main protagonists in this story go through. Also, this could be a "me" thing, but there is something so atmospheric about this anime that I cannot describe.

Great anime. Just like the anime called "Lain," this show really has that "lost media" feel from back in the early 2000's. The story has it's issues, but overall was quite enjoyable to watch. The characters themselves are decently built.

Disney style animation with a decent story. Not the best of stories but definitely not the worst.

Not as great as the first season and this derives from it by taking a different ending, but my god.... It's almost as good as season one.

The isekai which dethroned Sword Art Online and became the king of isekai. I will legit ***** myself if you don't watch this show, it is really enjoyable to watch. Easily one of the best Isekai ever

Sequel to the King of Isekai which takes the 1st season and improves on it in almost every way possible.

I believe this is the First anime I have ever watched, and I am proud of it. Best soundtrack I ever heard in an anime, easily rivaling the "Your Lie in April" soundtrack. ALthough that it has an interesting story and characters, you will be let down by bad world building and several rushed parts. Even with this in mind, I'll still give it a go but to be honest, this could just be my nostalgic self typing here.

Give it a go for a couple of episodes and see how you like this show. At first I Dropped this show multiple times due to it's slow pacing in the start, but while in the middle of a anime drought during 2020, I decided to give this show another go and made it five episodes in. Turns out, that I like it... I really like it... Especially once things started to get interesting and learned the backgrounds of all the characters. After that, the show was amazing. Are you like me? A military vehicle nerd who is not only obsessed with military ships, aircraft, but also tanks? Well, this anime alone is what brought tank nerds/historians/weebs together. This show is filled with references to past world events, wars, world leaders, and of course the "main dish" itself, the fuc*king tanks. There is absolutely nothing like this anime.

Really, really, really well made story with great characters and awesome mech fights. This anime is such a great Mix between Tsunarde/Comedy/Mecha/Military genres. It does this mix so well and if you were to continue past the first season, you will love this show as much as myself.

All I gotta say is... You don't see anime like this everyday. Most chinese anime don't attract anyone or are simply dogsh*t. But when it comes to this anime, give it a go. You might like it as much as I do since it has a unique taste on its story and setting.

Comedy/Isekai done like no other, this show is the best.

Hilarious underated anime, this is an anime similar to Konosuba.

Admit it motherfu**er, as bad as this anime is in certain areas of the show, this anime pioneered a new anime generation for us degenerates, truly a best anime generation to be living in. Watch this show with respect.

Action anime may not be for everyone, but this show is really good. The first episode should give you a glimpse of the tone of this anime series very well.

One of the top king's of the harem genre.

Even though this Anime is a prequel to the video game, I recommend playing Cyberpunk 2077 first to deeply immersive yourself into this Dystopian world. It is extremely deep and well made when it comes to Lore/Story. The anime itself really opens the doors and shows how deep the world is, but not as much in the game in my opinion. Besides world building, the story itself is really good, most of the characters are built OK when it comes to their personality and design, and the animation is top notch as expected from studio Trigger.

An anime which takes cringy ideas and does it right. The best of it's type.

Unique story and characters. This show isn't really as good as the rest of the isekai shows in this interest stack, but was really attracting and enjoyable to watch.

If you like the main protagonist trying to hide their true power only to reveal it as some point by accident or on purpose, this anime is for you as I'll say that its the best of it's type

Typical harem anime but with a twist that makes this anime fairly interesting. Each harem waifu has a nationality/personality from other nations around the world and this anime has an .O.K. story.

Trash story and no good characters to be seen. Only reason why I have this on this listing is because there are no animes like it. The plot is Literally the JGSDF and JASDF absolutely obliterating medieval armies, for like no reason at all.

Ah yes... There is not a SINGLE other anime similar to this one... A very... questionable anime... Say what you want dammit, but I like it. I suggest giving it a go, the 1st episode should really tell you what this anime is gonna be like from start to finish.

Character/story development is A++++, possibly even better or on par with Black Lagoon or Attack On Titan. This is an anime you don't see everyday. Highly, highly, recommend giving it a go.

Another one of those Human with monster powers hunts down actual monsters stories. Most characters in the first season are meh, but are still good.

I also cannot forget to mention that this anime has a really well made depressing New York City atmosphere

Similar to games and anime like Library of Runia and Cyberpunk, This show takes the (Sort of) Dystopian/Fixer/Gore/Human turned-Monster fight actual Monster genres and mushes them together with crazy interesting characters and plot. No anime is like this one, and it will probably remain the best of its kind.

A very slow, wholesome, comedic, and grounded anime. Nothing ridiculous to find in this anime. It's out of place self-ostracized geeks, nerds, and weebs in a collage club together.
