If you like HOnorabl Bad Ass Heroes, good morals, and ghosts and demons. This is the stuff. 

Bleach has so much in common with YYH that it almosts seem a rewrite. Both features a regular human whose lives change after a contact with shinigamis (death gods) and go thru spirit related missions in the human world. The protagonists have a great gift for spiritual power and almost infinite potential (altough this is common in shonen), travel to other realms... and similarities go even beyond the protagonists (Ririn/Claude/Nova — Kaito/Kido/Yanagizawa someone?). 

If you stick a red-hair wig on Yusuke Urameshi (the main character) you'll have Ichigo from the 90's. Both have tough, bad boy exterior that they portray at school. Also like Ichigo, Yusuke get paranormal abilities and somehow gets involved of a alternate world to help save this world from the probable evil with the help of their friends sharing unique paranormal abilities that fit their talents. And as a sidenote, there is shinigamis in both series. 

Similar stories with much action and adventure about shinigamis and the spiritual world. 

They both involve ghosts and are heavily fight oriented, but the themes are somewhat different. There is your average damsel in distress and female fighters, and there is more than enough action to go around for both series. 

What is the after like like? Both of these series explore what the afterlife is like, yet have different takes despite both drawing from the Japanese culture around them regarding spirits. Plus, there are a lot of action sequences in both series. 

The plots themselves are similar (Yusuke is a spirit detective and deals with intersections btwn the demon world and the real one; Ichigo is a shinigami and deals with hollow incursions into the real world), the development of the main characters is almost identical (normal delinquent to super powered fighter of justice), the main character goes on to gather a core group of friend who fight alongside him, he has a very powerful mentor who stays shrouded in mystery for large parts of the series... I could go on, but it seems excessive. These shows are terribly similar, yet are both really great shows to watch. If you Like Bleach, you will like Yuu Yuu Hakusho, as they are both truly excellent anime.  

Both series involve a great deal of after-life stuff and in addition to both beeing great shounen, imo you can easily tell Bleach has been influensed by this anime. 

Both shows have delinquent teens for protagonists. Delinquent teens are charged with protecting the world from supernatural beasts. Delinquent teens both have female sidekick from supernatural world and along with lots of brawling school buddies. Delinquent teens both have cool, supernatural toys with which to fight the supernatural beasts. 

Ichigo and his gang of friends fight other people with powers. both anime started out with the main character not having any powers and then their journey begins  

In a way when you watch both of these anime, you can't help but wonder if they were wrote by the same person..they both start out with a boy that sucks at first and through a series of events gains power. As the series progresses they both get stronger for there own reasons and through determination. Though both came out years apart you can't help but feel the connection between the too. There are also some differences between the two like the art work and music but watching these action packed anime with long fights and bad ass attitudes will surely keep you entertained. 

Bleach and Yuu Yuu Hakusho both involve a young male teenage lead that is an outcast and not understood. These characters gain spiritual powers due to a strange event, and gain new friends who better understand them. 

Both of them talk about the other world, have monsters, jokes, etc.. 

After watching both of them, you'll see that Bleach stole a fair chunk of the plot and character traits from Yu Yu Hakusho. Both are great fighting/supernatural shows though. 

Shinigamis, Delinquents, traveling into another world, lots of fighting. Bleach have many reference to Yu Yu Hakusho, like Baunto filler arc or Lost Agent arc (for example at the beginning of this arc Yuzu have Keiko's first hairstyle :O) + Same Director, same studio 

Bleach is the obvious recommendation, not just because it is similar but because Bleach is just a little bit better, at least when we are comparing the highs of Bleach compared to the highs of Yu Yu Hakusho. When you reach the famous Soul Society arc you'll understand my point here in that awesome characters in a mainstream shonen series is definitely more valuable than anything else. And, this might be because long running shonen anime comes with some side effects that you are no longer interested how powerful a super saiyan gets because the idea of destroying every single cell in a person's body can only take you so far in that eventually bores you to death. In short, you've got to like the character that is always kicking ass in battle and Bleach not only offers a really cool cast of characters, but is also paying attention to a style that is more diverse and unique.  

lots of similarites can be drawn out between the two series - Both protagonists are high school students.... Both can see spirits.... Both are accompanied by a female character who comes from another world, from the very begining of adventures... one gets the power of a shinigami i.e. To defeat hollows or the undead, the YYH protagonist gets to be a spiritual detective and hunt down demons.... And further more... Other crazy cranky powered characters who can defeat demons show up, same as in case of bleach.... okay no more going further deep into it or i'll be spitting out spoilers.... lastly i'd mention this series as highly reccomended if you loved Bleach :D  

Both anime deal with characters who initially recieve their power from a Shinigami (Grim Reaper), and who work for the rulers of the afterlife to fight evil spirits. Both are long-running shonen fighting anime with an emphasis on one-on-one fights, though Bleach lacks YYH's frequent tournament arcs. Also, what happens to Ichigo during the battle with Ulquiorra closely mirrors what happens to Yusuke during his final battle with Sensui, down to the long haired transformation sequence. I see callbacks, intentional or not, to YYH in Bleach all the time. If you like Bleach for the fighting and not just all the swords, give Yu-Yu Hakusho a shot. It's superpowered martial arts instead of swords, but the action is every bit as intense.  

Spirits Demons/Hallows yeah its similar if you like bleach you'll probably like Yu Yu Hakusho 

Both anime not only have the same director, but also both start out revolving around characters that use spirit powers to fight beings that normal people can't see. 

Both these shows have a lot of action. Both are about helping the souls of the dead.  

Like Bleach this anime focuses on a violent and serious main character who fights against evil spirits and demons, also like Bleach this manga puts focus on spiritual powers and has multiple plotlines and characters that'll just throw you back and make you see a lot of similarities. Both main characters also develop an evil side that they have to learn to control. 

Both Bleach and Yu Yu Hakusho involve a (seemingly) normal teenage kid getting tangled up in the business of the Spirit World (Yu Yu Hakusho) and the Soul Society (Bleach). Additionally, both series contain a female mentor type (YYH has Botan while Bleach has Rukia) that teaches their respective students in the main protagonists their new powers.  

Both anime are based on Weekly Shounen Jump manga. They focus on a main character who can see and interact spirits, and who usually has to fight against monsters of all sorts. Both have the main character develop from a delinquent to a hero of justice, as he gathers more friends to help him in his cause. Both anime are action-packed, have similar comedy and an overall similar mood. 

Both series start with the main character being seperated from his bodie and becoming souls. There are 3 different worlds in both series in Yu Yu Hakusho's case it's Human, Spirit and Demon worlds and in Bleach's case it's Human Realm, Hueco Mundo and Soul Society. Both main characters are connected to all three worlds in Yusuke's case he's a human (Human World), he is a Spirit Detective(Spirit World) and His father is a demon(Demon World). In Ichigo's case he's a human(Human World), his father is a shimigami and he's a substitute soul reaper(Soul Society) and He's got a inner hollow(Hueco Mundo). 

The similarities between these two anime series is eerily uncanny both the main protagonists are teenagers who get involved in the supernatural and spiritual worlds and fight to protect the living world  

-Both have supernatural beings that normal humans can't see -Both have a 'demon' realm and a 'human' realm -Both start out small, but by the end the characters are at ridiculous levels of destructive power

I agree with the majority of the crowd. Bleach and Yu Yu Hakusho have some similarities. I personally think bleach has better fight scenes later on in the series, but that's just me. They both deal with fighting, supernatural, there are also other world or spirit world similarities.  

Both feature Shingami/Spirit Detectives in Yusuke and Ichigo. Both have female Shingami guidance in Rukkia and Botan. Rivals that become integral teammates like Uryu and Hiei/Kurama. The characters power up with Sprit energy in one and Spiritual Pressure is the gauge for strength in the other. Yuu Yuu is older and has a bit more of a comedic edge to it and less filler but the overall themes at the beginning are very similar. As the series goes on you have some of the half demon/ half hollow dichotomy as well so the parallels continue.  

Initially, both are about the clash between a delinquent from the real world and an agent from the after-life, with a main character that suddenly ends up gaining powers and having to fight against monsters. Later on, more realms are revealed, and the arcs are often about the conflicts between those worlds and the real one. 

Shounens with badass protagonists who are always ready to scrap. Diverse cast of characters, both feature comedic moments and delve into human world vs. spirit world vs. demon world concepts. Banger OSTs also, as well as iconic major villains with deep planning and complex motives. 

Created by the same people and have such an badass story 

It's like what Yoshihiro Togashi would do if they let him without any pressures 

1. They both have a similar airheaded, loud mouthed, smartass, anti- authority, rule breaking brute street thug main character. 2. They both involve the spiritual world and taking over a deity type job to pay their savior back. 3. They both learn something about their ancestors mainly their (father's?) and thus it changes their entire being and life and flips the story on its head. 4. A close friend to ichigo the main character Uryu has a lot of Kurama in him aka smart caring broken unknown at first by us past and a evil history he fights against think kurupika from hxh. 5. Both shows have humans gain powers to fight spirit type monsters or demons. 6. Both shows main cast have great personalities that mesh get along inact natural comedy and banter well 7. Both shows have a rescue kidnapped girl arc. 8. Both shows have a villain who seemingly controlled the strings from the start in different ways.

Both have a huge style factor to them, with a large set of characters. The cursed monsters are also very similar to Hollows from Bleach as well. 

-Extremely similar concept - both series are about a boy who is living a regular life before a chance encounter means that he can now see evil creatures invisible to the human eye. Boy gains supernatural powers and begins to fight these creatures -Both take place in modern time -Both series foreshadow a traitor in the midst of allies very early on 

Two protagonists whose lives change forever from one day to another, with an internal power that will be unleashed after several events in the development of their respective stories, since that specific situation that impact them to protect the people they love. 

-Similar protagonist -Similar atmosphere -Similar art style They both deal with "souls" main heroes are just students and then they get some powers and all that stuff!! If you love bleach then you will love Jujutsu kaisen too...  

both are super natural action themed stories that focus on taking down the bad guys and also lots of nice to look at art and visuals as well too. 

They're really similar in terms of dealing with souls and "monsters" and such. Both main characters are strong from the beginning and have carefree nonchalant like dispositions while also caring for their friends I think if you liked bleach and kinda want the same type of plot and concepts like dealing with souls, you should definitely give this a try! The manga is really good too.

In both Bleach and Jujutsu Kaisen, the main character (who can see ghosts) joins a group to help protect people. Gege Akutami said that he was inspired by Bleach, and it shows. Both anime have a very similar feeling, art style and fighting style. The main differences are the length and animation quality. Bleach has more episodes and lower animation quality, while Jujutsu Kaisen is 24 episodes (for now) and has really good animation quality. Both are still pretty good anime, though I think that Jujutsu Kaisen is better than Bleach. Check out both if you can, but if you had to go with one, check out Jujutsu Kaisen.

Bleach is the base of JJK 

Both anime have similar art style and atmosphere. The protagonists in both series are students with special powers who are dealing with "monsters" and both have great fight scenes 

-The author of JJK has already told us that he was inspired by Bleach -Both have a faction who hunt demon like creatures -Both have a goofy MC -Both have drip -Both have relaxed guys who are OP af (I can go on for a while, just go watch bleach, it's my fav out of the big three) 

These two series have many similarities such as strange creatures that can only be seen by certain people, and there are also some characters who have similarities such as gojo and urahara, sukuna with grimmjow, and many more. I can also see itadori's black light similar to ichigo dan's getsugatensho and also domain expansion similar to bankai. 

Both of these anime have the same supernatural story where the main character deals with curses, spirits, etc 

Has many similarities like: 1. It is set in a supernatural world 2. The characters have interesting designs and abilities 3. The Main Protagonist has a unique demonic power 4. Jujutsu Kaisen was inspired by Bleach 5. Supernatural beings from both anime are similar.  

In the simplest terms its ghust/demon hunting. If you like the plot and lore of Bleach, similar world-building is found in JJK, with more modern characters 

JJK is heavily inspired and even references Bleach directly, it has a similiar setting and concept, tho executed differently. Also if you like urahara, chances are youd like Gojo. Both also got the inner demon troupe going and got amazing fights 

Similar: They both involve main characters that want to fight off evil curse beings that invade the real world and MCs wants to do whatever it takes to protect those around them. MCs also have similar personalities and have similar physique to them. Difference: In Bleach, the evil spirits are called Hollows and those that hunt them are called Soul Reapers and they use their Zanpakuto as weapons which usually comes in a form of a sword where as JJK characters use curse energy. Both shows are great with strong characters, OSTs, and animation.  

jjk is a new gen and is mostly inspired from the old gen shonens only. Bleach is much more of a anime with a raw and stronger plot and with the thousand year blood war arc this october with the new gen animation. 

And vice versa. Jujutsu Kaisen is like Bleach's successor. Both deal with invisible spiritual entities that an organization fights to protect the public. 

Both have protagonists leading a normal life until a incident occurs which changes their life and are now fulfilling their duties that decide their fate 

Intentionally or otherwise, Jujutsu Kaisen draws even more inspiration from Bleach via its original premise: A bunch of extremely powerful and especially freaky monsters with varying degrees of sentience tied to lingering attachments of the dead that not everyone can see get exterminated by teenagers. 

The whole cast is very similar to the bleach cast and they have similar enemy type  

Very similar Powers and plot. Similarities between cursed energy and spirit energy. Similarities between hollows and cursed spirits 

Both Main characters have colored hair, a demon inside of them that makes them stronger and does anything to help their friends and families no matter what. Both take place in Japan but in different locations. 

JJK is like a mixture of Naruto and Bleach. It has the best of both Anime and more! The animation is sooo good and the story has everything! Action, shounen, Drama, Comedy (and even some kind of sports) are in this show. And this was only the first season. If you like the style of Naruto and Bleach, then you will also like Jujutsu Kaisen! 

Very similar concepts of curses/hollows. Awesome main protagonists that struggle with containing an evil force. Best of all, villains that are actually menacing 

JJK is a shorter Bleach. Both feature a red-haired protagonist that gets dragged into a fight against spirits/curses that no one else can see. Each MC is surrounded by an eclectic class of characters in a world that opens up dramatically from the first episodes. 

I think JJK is heavily influenced by bleach. There is a sort of soul society that's trained to fight of demons (similar concept to hollows) to keep humans safe, the MC is a good guy that has to fight with a demon inside of him and becomes super strong but is not really liked by the "soul society" although his teacher (gives off strong urahara vibes) seems to really like him and trains him to become stronger. I think that if you like bleach you will totally like JJK too. 

Cursed spirits and hollows have very similar characteristics— being grotesque beings visible only to a certain amount of people. These people in most cases deciding to exorcist these grotesque beings in order to "protect my friends" or some self righteous thing. Itadori and Ichigo both have similar motivations: ichigo wanting to protect his friends, while itadori also wants to protect his friends and other people ( on order to give them a proper death and stuff). The mangaka for jjk also claims to be heavily inspired from Bleach, as evidenced by similar lore and background and of course the costumes and character designs— another thing to note is the black clothes in the main exorcism society: the soul society having black kimonos while jujutsu high having black to dark blue uniforms. Other than that, both the anime are set in modern Japan and have main characters with light colored hair that looks bleached (pun not intended). Besides they're both shounen so you might enjoy the other of you little such genres.

Both have awesome characters and fights, and even humor sprinkled throughout. If you enjoy Naruto or Naruto Shippuuden there should be no reason you cant also enjoy Bleach. 

Very similar in format, though different stylistically -- Naruto is set in 'past times' where Bleach is set in 'modern times' Both feature a strong cast of lead characters with seemingly limitless (possibly dangerous) potential. Differences to be seen are Naruto's goals are clearly defined. 1. To become Hokage (to protect the village) 2. Protect his friends. (Overall theme of Protecting people, his 'evil aspect' seems to be kept seperate from himself character until it consumes him.) Where Ichigo's goals are not so clear, 1.Protect his friends. 2. Ichigo however seems to have a hidden side that constantly strives to become stronger regardless of his friends being in danger. (As in, he seems to go out of his way to face danger.) (Ichigo's 'evil aspect' seems to be an integrated part of himself unlike Naruto's) Regardless, both series are very strong by themselves and both are sometimes drawn out by Filler Arcs. (Which are generally still good by themselves, but they make you wait to see continuity which makes them seem unbearable.) If you like Naruto I strongly recommend Bleach and Visa versa. -- Hell I'd recommend Bleach even if you didn't like Naruto.  

The genres are quite alike, and they are universes where fighting is necessary for survival. Where Naruto is more about emotions and the craft of a fictive universe, Bleach presents more extreme fighting scenes with a stench of Dragon Ball in it. Both are great animes. They also both are ongoing long anime series. 

Both are "mainstream" animes, popular not just in North America, but worldwide. They're both shounen anime, so you can expect a lot of action and fighting. If you like one series, there shouldn't be any reason for you to hate the other. What matters in shounen series are the quality of the action and fight scenes, and both provide lots with seemingly no end to be seen.  

It's similar mostly in the age, both rating and the age of the characters. That's my opinion, but I love these 2 series and I recommend you watch them : ) 

Both are very popular shounen which almost everyone has seen. The difference is just that Bleach is about death gods when Naruto is about ninjas.

I feel like these are similar animes because besides being a long series, Naruto and Ichigo both try to work for the common good in vanquishing the evil antagonists that come their way while fighting for their friends. I know, this theme is practically the same for almost any anime but when I watch these two, I feel like they have a similarity aura. Not to mention they both have awesome epic fights! >:D 

Both shows being considered the stereotypical anime that's all newbies tend to get drawn to early on, both of the shows have similar protagonists, young males who as the series develops grows stronger, gains friends, and is entrusted with more responsibility. Also both of the shows follow very similar story lines with a prologue to a big battle where the enemy is introduced with episodes leading up to the big fight with filler episodes in between. People new to the anim scene should check out these anime. 

Both of these anime are consumed by filler and really popular. 

Both are action orientated, with you normal good vs evil set up, both protagonists are very similar all that really separates them is their hair color and their homosexual attachment to a certain Uchiha. 

The main characters have the same "fight to protect" mentality and "special modes"(hollow and the kyuubi). Both feature vast universes and characters. The authors put in a bit of romance(esp. live triangles) but didn't delve to deep so it doesn't get too cheesy. 

Let's start by comparing the story, both have similar shounen elements of that fighting spirit; Bleach = spiritual energy and Naruto = chakra. The Story's main protagonist seeks to become stronger after each encounter to protect their families (although in the beginning Naruto's motive is to not be seen as an outcast) The development of the protagonist is conveyed in a simple formula of finding that inner strength to overcome their opponent (speaking which both suffer inner demons to which they must also struggle against and control to unleash their full potential), however this simple formula is made entertaining by the interactions with a long list of supporting characters and the choreography of the fight scenes. The OST is probably the most outstanding feature of both Naruto and Bleach. They both evoke this primal instinct to fight and be poised for a fight (also evident through their extensive training regimes). It's heart pounding and raises the tension/excitement factor to set the scene for some epic shounen battles. The fight/battle scenes are generally dragged out to showcase both the parties moves and special abilities but also act as its foundation to the plot. (i.e. introducing new abilities, developing new abilities or creating plot points) The animation is solid throughout both shows, especially considering both shows' length. It certainly will not be a deterrent. However, one point to note is the amount of fillers may be an issue for a lot of viewers, to overcome this issue, I recommend seeking some great filler guides on the internet to watch the show in its canon form especially if the filler is not to your liking.   

Both anime's main character start with weak fighting power but stubborn personality and both of them never give up. So in time they power up and be invincible. 

Both fighting with similar style. Both over 300 episodes Similar characters. Both kill you with filler  

they both have alot of action and sad music and dumb plots so if u like naruto shippuden u gonna love bleach too. 

Both are based on Shonen Jump Manga. but the greatest similairity are the fillers, both shows have such an insane high amount of fillers you get aids of just looking at an episode list. both shows are awesome though but the high filler amount makes them both infamous and ruïns the potential which the both have 

Naruto is an action shounen fighting anime which is most likely to be favourites for the majority of anime lovers.Like Bleach which is very similar to Naruto but Bleach has more fighting and action moments than Naruto.If you like action and fighting anime like Naruto then Bleach is the perfect anime for you 

Bright colored hair mc? check!! Dark and edgy hidden power? check!! Unique concept that many anime don't have? check!! Awesome fight? check!! Same studio? check!! Too many filler? check!!  

Although bleach as less death, both of these animes are good. Bleach as good fighting scene with some overpowered ennemies. In both anime, the main characters has to increase his powers and abilities to beat his ennemies and they are often in bad situations risking their lives for the sake of the people they care about. Just like I said before, the fighting scenes are damn good, but you'll have to make some research about the main episodes/arcs if you don't want to see alot of fillers. In my opinion this is the only bad thing about these animes. 

both are long series. both the characters start out weak and get very strong full of action and a good story that will make you need to watch the next episode both have a lot of filler, just skip it 

They are both shounen and have a similar plot and main character.  

Great power with in both Ichigo and Naruto, but both are blockheads with little skill at the start so they have to uncover there power through strife. Great watching the uncontrolled power go to work.  

Both are long-running TV series that are a culmination of all genres possible, both are based on our main character who fights of evil with his friends. If you are looking for an anime with a long storyline and well-developed side characters, these two are just the anime for you. Everything is connected and part of a bigger conspiracy which is slowly revealed. Bleach's fillers are much better than Naruto's whereas Naruto's plot is a lot better than Bleach's 

Both have good main characters 

Both are shounen animes and also both animes main characters are fighting to protect their friends and etc. 

In both series the main characters have some demons and they both start through intensive training to become stronger, and they go through many adventures with their friends to become stronger or to help each other. 

Both are shounen, so both have the character tropes and concepts that all shounen anime have, which are pretty good imo. From lots of fights and cool abilities and skills to epic OST and plottwists - both have it all. Very easy to get invested you can just relax, lay back and enjoy the good ol' shounen era style anime. 

Also one of the “Big three” it is another Shōnen adventure that was written in the same period. It also contains great fights, good villains, and a story similar, and different then Naruto’s 

Bleach has a similar vibe to naruto + a bunch of episodes if you're looking for a long anime to watch. Banger shows, both of them 

bleach is a old anime from 2004 and in spite of being a old anime it had a great power system and you will love all the characters. Most of the characters are badass in these series. It is similar to naruto shippuden because you will see some great fight scenes and a great mastermind villain. The problem is that the 50% of the series is full of fillers.

Ichigo fights to save Rukia and Naruto fight to "save" Sasuke and it kinda goes the same way people try to stop them but they keep going no matter what to achieve their goals. 

though the styles are totally different there yet the same every average anime watcher will find himself in a dilemma on which he should watch.. i suggest both ! there both funny, yet serious but then again... also Cruel and theres drama.. they both got em all :D 

It has action, adventure, love and even some comedy which is what makes these two anime seem so similar. But there are some differences of course, however the 2 characters kurosaki Ichigo and Naruto have extremely similar personality traits such as their will to protect those around them and their will to survive no matter what!  

Both main characters try to be stronger and save their friends. In both anime is a lot of fight and action. And both anime have stupid, boring fillers. ;] 

The genres are quite alike, and they are universes where fighting is necessary for surivival. Where Naruto is more about emotions and the craft of a fictive universe, Bleach presents more extreme fighting scenes with a stench of Dragon Ball in it. Both are great animes. 

Both series are about an outsider who tries to become stronger to protect his friends. In addition, Naruto, as well as Bleach, feature unique battles with super powers (Jutsus in Naruto and Soul Slayer attacks in Bleach).  

Typical shounen animes. Hero with strong powers, will and many friends. Katanas, swords, battles, talking during these battles, evil organization and so on... similar, ne? 

Both have a main character that gets stronger and stronger as the show moves on. Both have an outstanding cast of support characters. Both are filled with action and all sorts of powers and blend in comedy at the right moments.  

These anime are just the same type. Main characters just do all their best to save the world)) an alternative reality, special supernatural abilities, interesting fights... Both anime contain all these aspects. Of course these series are really childish and rather simple, but it can help you to give a rest to your brain! So, enjoy))) 

Both anime tells about one guy who wants to be the best and protect everyone. They start from level zero and raises to high level with training. There are awesome fights all the time and are both funny too. 

Both are shounen and involve quite alot of violence. There is not much of a romance in it although naruto may be a bit more emotional than bleach. They both start out with a guy that is inexperienced, but as the story progresses they improve dramatically 

Both series provide you with similar characters, who start off as newbies and as they make friends, enemies and fight their ways through, they realize they have amazing potential and learn what friendship really means! In both Bleach and Naruto, you'll harness action till you drop! 

Naruto derives from the same plot outline as Bleach, in which Naurto starts out as a weak ninja and as the story progresses, he gets stronger and fight tougher enemies. 

Both series are long running (lots of episodes) series that center around action and fighting. The main characters are very good and the stories are very profound. The main characters both start of as inexperienced but very stubborn and determined to become the best. Gradually they learn what the toll is of the world they live in while they become stronger. 

Both main characters have powers and a strong willed mind. They never give up and fight mainly for the sake of their friends (I've just described the shounen genre). Both develop their powers throughout the anime as they keep training and fighting. One as a substitute shinigami and the other one as a ninja. The cast of Bleach is older than Naruto's but the target audience is not very different so if you've watched one and are looking for something with the same feel to it, give the other a go. 

One of the most typical battle shounen anime - lenghty runtime padded with filler content, hotheaded protagonist that pulls through by the writers making new powers on the go, flashy abilities that come and go, pretty much all of the clichés in one pack. 

Let's start by comparing the story, both have similar shounen elements of that fighting spirit; Bleach = spiritual energy and Naruto = chakra. The Story's main protagonist seeks to become stronger after each encounter to protect their families (although in the beginning Naruto's motive is to not be seen as an outcast) The development of the protagonist is conveyed in a simple formula of finding that inner strength to overcome their opponent (speaking which both suffer inner demons to which they must also struggle against and control to unleash their full potential), however this simple formula is made entertaining by the interactions with a long list of supporting characters and the choreography of the fight scenes. The OST is probably the most outstanding feature of both Naruto and Bleach. They both evoke this primal instinct to fight and be poised for a fight (also evident through their extensive training regimes). It's heart pounding and raises the tension/excitement factor to set the scene for some epic shounen battles. The fight/battle scenes are generally dragged out to showcase both the parties moves and special abilities but also act as its foundation to the plot. (i.e. introducing new abilities, developing new abilities or creating plot points) The animation is solid throughout both shows, especially considering both shows' length. It certainly will not be a deterrent. However, one point to note is the amount of fillers may be an issue for a lot of viewers, to overcome this issue, I recommend seeking some great filler guides on the internet to watch the show in its canon form especially if the filler is not to your liking.   

No doubt, with some strong power comes a huge responsability, the characters will face huge difficults and because a huge plot you will have to choose wich one is your favourite 

They both follow a main character who starts off as almost useless but each character gets stronger as time goes on. They each have a group of friends whose powers stem from same source of power. Both main characters have different forms that increase their power but at the price where they have to fight for control. And at some point one of the main villians becomes immortal.  

The main characters of both shows, Ichigo and Naruto, are quite similar in terms of personality. They are both brash, energetic and have a tough exterior, although they have a kind heart. Both shows have the main character train to become stronger and protect his friends. Overall, these anime have similar art and animation, a lot of action and similar comedy, a large cast of characters, a similar plot and an overall similar vibe. 

The two main characters, ( Naruto and Ichigo) both have sad back stories, giving them the will to help others especially their friends. They both start off as very weak and steadily surpasses their superiors one by one until everybody notices and relies on them.  

If you like watching shounen anime where you follow the protagonist and watch them grow throughout the anime you'll probably enjoy both series. Both protagonists grow stronger as they constantly fight tougher opponents and learn to control their unstable powers. Both series also have impressive fight scenes, Bleach with swords and Naruto with hand-to-hand combat and using special techniques called "ninjutsu". 

Being a shonem anime, this is the best recommendation I can make at the moment. An anime whose protagonist develops as he sees his weaknesses, recognizes them and fights as if that were all... In Ichigo's words: "I don't fight thinking I'm going to win, I fight BECAUSE I HAVE to win!!" The anime brings together everything that Shonem Naruto gives us in a different world (soul reapers), comedy, action, emotion, dedication and overcoming! I believe that all Otakus must already know the anime Bleach, but this is a recommendation for beginners... <portuguese>Em se tratando de um anime shonen, essa é a melhor recomendação que posso fazer no momento. Um animes cujo o protagonista vai se desenvolvendo a medida que vê suas fraquezas, reconhece elas e luta como se isso fosse tudo... Like Naruto is provides likable and memorable voice actors (both for dubbed and original content) and is the perfect foot-in-the-door anime.  

Long-running shounen manga that share similar themes like friendship, self-sacrifice, and achieving one's best. They both have a lot of battles and likable characters. 

Similar in the aspect of the protagonist being a character who is weak and is gifted with power which allows him to be better and struggles to master his power and overcome the odds. Main Character being being a person who is both acting like a fool and has good plans in a while. 

In both series the main characters have some demons and they both start through intensive training to become stronger, and they go through many adventures with their friends to become stronger or to help each other. 

Bleach and Naruto both start off with the main protagonist being powerless nobodies, who lost important people in their lives out of their control. But overtime, they gain the help of their friends, and become much stronger. They become very powerful, and discover they had insane power just sitting inside them all this time. 

Both are wholesome romcoms with little to no drama. Both couples get together early on and most of the story is about them actually dating each other. 

Tho these anime have some complications between them...... Naruto and ichigo both are overpowered and lack a parent XD. Fight between ichigo vs Naruto does not make sense. Naruto's plot and bleach's plot are north and south . But both are long and a masterpiece.  

Bleach is part of what people call the Big 3 - alongside 'Naruto', so obviously, you've to give it a watch and also it's final arc is getting adapted this October!! 

Both are a part of big 3 and both have a set of amazing characters and plotline is good too.

Also one of the big three anime of the 2000's, great story, great characters, and very 2000's nostalgia bait heavy. There is A LOT of filler though. 

Kimetsu no Yaiba is very connected to bleach so much, similar with story, Hollow and Demon, Soul Reaper and Demon Slayer, 13 squads Captain and 9 Demon slayer hashira, Espada and Demon Moons, the main character who become a soul reaper/demon slayer and have lost the parents, bleach is like brother to Kimetsu no Yaiba 

-Both center on a similar supernatural foe (hollows, demons) that antagonize the human race, that come classified in different levels -Both have an organization built to counter this foe (soul reapers, demon slaying corps) -Both of these organizations have an elite group of characters leading part of the organization (division captains, pillars) -Both use swords combined with some kind of technique or superpower as the weapon of choice for nearly every human character 

Both follow a guy who enters a world which he knows nothing of and then becomes a vital part of it. Both are about fighting a league of villains going up to its boss. same narrative way. Both have comedy as an additional factor. both have a red head as the main protagonist fighting along side a female character to which he is connected. Both have a league of good captains and their leader fighting against the villainous league and its boss. 

"Demon Slayer" is considered by some to be this generation's version of "Bleach" for a reason. Both are fantasy action anime about an organization of people who protect humanity from demons. In both cases, there are several ranks for both the good guys and the bad guys, with the highest ranked getting the most focus after the main characters. Basically, the 13 Court Guard Squad Captains are the Hashira, while the Espada are the Twelve Kizuki. While Ichigo and Tanjiro seem to have nothing in common on the surface, and indeed they are very, very different, they do have one major thing in common- they're both very protective older brothers, with the reason they became a Soul Reaper/Demon Slayer being to protect their younger sister(s). They also have much simpler goals than a usual shounen protagonist- Ichigo just wants to save and protect as many people as he can while Tanjiro just wants to cure his sister, with his revenge against Muzan being more of a side thing. I think "Bleach" is better, due to having more complexity to its story and characters, but that's just me. In any case, both are well worth watching if you enjoy this kind of anime.  

Both are battle shounen win which the mc fights the supernatural, with a lot of sword fights, weird monsters, and spells.

They are very similar in the generic terms that the characters both fight demons/hallows to protect humans. They also have amazing fight scenes with differing sword techniques and unique character designs.

It seems Bleach has been an inspiration to Demon Slayer. Both protagonists initially lose family to the 'enemy' Demon Slayer Corps = Soul Society Espada = 12 Demon Moons They're both about samurai style sword fighting, with special moves (bankai, water breathing). Both shows even have special, unique types of swords. If you like Bleach, you're probably going to like Demon Slayer. 

Demon Slayer and Bleach are very similar. Bleach kills hollows while Demon Slayers kill Demons Bleach has a ranking toward there soul reapers(Captains) and Arrancars(Espada) While Demon Slayer has ranking with "Demon Slayers"(Mizunto/Pillar) and Demons(Upper Moon Demons) Bleach and Demon Slayer characters use sword techniques, as bleach has zanpakuto shikai and bankai, while Demon Slayer uses Breathing Techniques.  

Samurai? Check Superpower? Check Demon? Or something like that? Check And I think both of main characters have a similar character development concept, zero to hero. The best thing for these two are the epic fighting scene. Also each characters have various strengths which can make you want to watch

Two solid shows with great animation(Bleach's animation was pretty good considering that it aired from 2004-2012)where the protagonist has to slay demons/hollows "to protect" (Ichigo Kanji pun) the ones close to him.  

Both really great sword fighting supernatural animes. Both have demon (hollows are similar to demons from KnY) that have lived tragic lives or have really sad backstories. Fights are extremely hype in both.

The organizations and the ranking systems that are fighting eachother are similar Demon Slaying Corps - Demons/ Soul Reapers - Hallows. Both series has cool sword fighting techniques and the skills of individuals are enjoyable to watch. It was a nice experience to watch Kimetsu no Yaiba before Bleach and seeing the resemblence . 

Both have very similar premises and appeal. Elite warrior organizations training to face off against supernatural beings which average humans being powerless against. Both have a similar fighting style (using swords) and set up ranks and titles. Both of these are amazing shonens with good fights and great animation. 

They are quite similar to each other both of them start out with the motive of killing the hollows (bleach) and the demons (in kny) but the thing is that both of them are worth watching demon slayer has one of the best animations of all time

Somehow the story is a lot alike.. a guy lives a peacfully life until a mysterious girl comes and gives him power, and then they start fighting monsters together with that girl.. 

they both have a male who meets a girl trys to save them then they end up joining her and get alot stronger then her to protect her its like the same thing busou is the like the same thing but shorter 

They Both include weapons and the transformation of weapons.. i jst think their really alike.,, both are really good! 

Hmm for me the plot are somewhat the same though Busou Renkin is much more sci-fi and modernized than bleach..but instead of zanpakutou Busou Renkin characters use kakuganes as weapon.. 

Boy gets weapon from girl. Girl is very mature and tries to keep to herself. Fighting off things that eat humans. 

Both are about an ordinary guy turns to a super "hero" with the help of a strange girl, who later becomes his senpai and partner. Plots are similar. 

Both these animes deal with a dude with spiritual powers and use big huge swords to battle demons,ghosts,Shimigamis or humunculouse,Kurosaki Ichigo battles demons while Kazuki muto battles humunculouse 

Even if takes your life, you will never give up, you will never back down, you will never let down the ones who believe in you. You will keep going forward! You will fight for the world, for your friends and even for those you haven't met and probably never would. You belive that's the right thing to do and it really is! Both Busou Renkin and Bleach are created on that same theme. The main characters - Mutou Kazuki and Kurosaki Ichigo, are first thinking about others and then about themselves. But is it an advantage to be so selfless, to care more about the world that about yourself? Who knows? But if you, too, think that the world we live in is worth saving, you must watch these two anime!  

In terms of character: Tokiko is similar to Rukia. They both have feelings for the main male character who they work work and they don't want to admit to it. Kazuki is similar to Ichigo. They both want to help people and wouldn't be what they are now if the male female character hadn't appeared in their lifes. Gōta is similar to Renji. They both care for the main female character and don't get on well with main male character however they will work with them if needed. In terms of weapons: Buso Renkin's kakugane = Bleach's zanpakutō. They are just simple weapons but then can transform. The storyline is also similar at times.  

Both have male main characters that start out as normal teenagers until they meet a mysterious girl who gives them new powers. There are also supernatural weapons, strange monsters and lots of fighting. 

Busou Renkin is one of the beat anime i seen...Oay you right you want to know the anime!? OK its just like bleach because a normal school boy turns into a hero bcause his life was changed by a girl both the same...an the both of the boy wanna potect people with thir life ^^ very good!!! 100% 

Bleach has a lot of action in it. They are very similar in aspects of being a normal teenage boy until a female interferes and ends up granting them power and changing their lives forever. It also has the comedy, and dark evil plot likeness that Busou Renkin did. Except Bleach is a lot more serious and longer. 

Both have a super powerful girl that ends up being fighting partners with regular human guys who have big ideas about the world. Both Ichgo and Kazuki want to save the whole world. also there is a little spazy character in each the ends up being of great help. 

Both Bleach and Busou Renkin have a strong-ideals main character, good fightings and those right feels you need to get involved in watching an anime. Loved both these shows, and if you liked bleach there's no reason for Busou Renkin to disappoint you. 

Story begins when a boy helps a strange girl to fight monsters he shouldn't see. She has to lend him her powers for some time, or he cannot do this. Next, he has to save his big-breasted sis, otherwise she would get involved in the fighting against the monsters that anybody should see. The strange girl is part of an organization whose objective is to destroy that monsters, and guess what main character will do? Join it. Also, main character has a really big sword/lance and a bunch of school sidekicks that end up getting involved in his fight anyway. 

Both are about boys who meet a woman and gain the ability to fight in her world. Without giving too much away the story lines have similarities with character and plot development. Busou Renkin is however not as serious as Bleach, which is refreshing and also has a good end point.  

MC meets an unordinary girl and get into fighting supernatural. Both show has same vibe. 

- Same Magazine - Similar events - great b-shonen 

The beggining of this animes are very similar: The main character with your companion/mentor destroying some monstruous creatures arround the city in episodic or 2/3 episodes mini arcs. I dont remember that much of Busou Renkin, but from what i remember is a more generic but cool series. (Except the last episode that is a huge disappointment) 

Both are action/shonen series, with a group of good guys slowly fighting their way through the ranks of the bad guys, powering up in the process. While D.Gray-Man is often more serious than Bleach, they both have their moments of comedy to lighten up the mood when needed. Also, >100 % synch rate = bankai all the way. 

Both are in a group of supernatural power fighting against evil in Bleach they fight Hollows and in D.gray-man they fight Akuma ( Demons ). If u liked Bleach you will like D.gray-man ^^ 

Both series have the same style.. A young boy who tries to gain more power in order to save good people on earth. Story and characters are a little similiar also.. So you wont regret it. If you liked "Spiritual Energy (reiatsu)" .. You should definitely try "innocence"! 

Both are fighting akuma or evil using there own methods in one its shinigami in the other its exocists both shows are great 

if you like bleach most likely you'll like DGrayMan i mean it startsout boring like some animes but its halirouls and the action in it isnt so bad the down side is the ending is like a cliffy due to the fact the author got sick so unless your willing to wait for her to get better dont watch it and get disapointed 

In both Bleach and D.Gray Man, the plot revolves round the protagonist and his friends as they combat an evil force to safe the people of the world. The anagonists are very mysterious yet likable characters and appear an unbeatable force. It is up to the protagonist and friends to try to beat them while they both fight with a hidden power within themselves. 

Both have Demons, and similar fighting with nice power ups. Bleach is more slow paced, but they are both good. 

Both of these shows focus on the supernatural and the trials and moral dilemmas the heros go through. As both series progress, it becomes clear there is more to the heros than meets the eye. Both Allen Walker and Ichigo Kurosaki are different than the other people around them and they try to deal with those differences while saving others and protecting their friends/comrades and what they truly believe in 

Hero with strong/unusual powers, battles and many bishounens. Although I think D.Gray-man's animation looks better and Allen has more 'dark' secrets. 

In Bleach we have hollows on whom shinigami are hunting, here we have Akuma's on who exorcists are hunting. Exorcists could be counted as same shinigami since they are a one big, positive organization which is fighting evil. Instead of zanpanktou they have Innocence which gives each one of them a unique power. The main character also could be considered as a hybrid between Akuma and human like Ichigo who is hybrid between Shinigami/human/hollow. Both series have nice action and very likable characters. And both series have some story twists though D.Gray Man handles it all 10 times better. 

Great shounen animes I found very entertaining. Loads of action, fights, great soundtracks, awesome characters. Both Bleach and D.gray-man have monsters to fight with, hollows and akumas. There are 'the defenders' against them too, Shinigami, who wield Zanpakutos and Exorcists, who have their Innocence. Both Ichigo and Allen have some kind of the enemy's powers, too.  

For one, Both animes gives off the basic structures to a Shonen anime. Many things can be related with Bleach and D.Gray man. The soul society and the Dark Order are both organizations that the protagonist gets involved with. Art styles are nothing too special but there are a wide variety of characters which also gives a gloomy feel. The main connection is that in both stories the main character starts off by fighting enemies created that can be traced from humans to more cliche ones after. Both mangas are still continuing and answers are still untold. 

Bleach and D.Gray-Man are both a sort af dark shounen anime. In both shows they fight against a type of demon: the hollows (bleach) and akuma (dgrayman), with the menos showing the most similarities with the akuma. Both have an evil organisition in some way linked to the creatures. Both have many moments of humour considering the theme. If you like the hollow-idea of bleach, I recommend checking out D.Gray-Man.  

both allen and ichigo are "special" in terms of the power they have and how they have it. both of them have swords both of them want to protect their friends at all costs, and thats where they get part of their powers from. the people that have the powers that the main characters have all belong to some sort of organization 

In both animes the main character is fighting against demons/hollow ,also there are very simillar characters and weapons. 

~ Both Supernatural genre ~ In both series the protagonist goes through a lot to "power up" ~ Both have a lot of episodes 

If you liked the fact that Ichigo is different than other Shinigami and the fact that he has a dark side in him that gives him new powers and is judged by them, then you will like Allen from D. Gray-man. He also has an evil power that makes people around judge him. 

-Both have monsters that the heroes must fight (Akuma, Hollows) -Both have an organization dedicated to these fights (Soul Society, Black Order) -Both of the monsters come from previously dead human beings  

~ Both are in the supernatural/action dark fiction genre. In Bleach they fight Hollows whereas in D.gray-man - Akuma (Demons). ~ The soul society and the Dark Order are both organizations that the protagonist gets involved with. ~ In Bleach, we have hollows that shinigami are hunting, here we have Akuma'с which exorcists are hunting. ~ Exorcists could be counted as same shinigami since they are a one big, positive organization which is fighting evil. Hmmm... They both have main characters that have to fight against monsters... For example, Bleach with Hollows and Soul Eater with their 'demons'. Anyway, their plot are somewhat similar. It's about their main characters fighting for peace and things like that.... 

Soul Eater revolves around, thus far, three students and their respective weapons used to take out "seeds of Kishin" or wayward human souls. The first protagonist, Maka, wields a scythe name Soul Eater. She is the daughter of the current Death Scythe (the weapon used by Shinigami aka Death). The second is Black Star, a ninja, and his weapon of choice it Tsubaki, who can transform into various ninja weapons. The third student is Death the Kid, Shinigami's son, who wields Patricia and Elizabeth, a pair of guns. The seeds, are very similar to Hollow. Bleach and Soul Eater also have the same uniqe weapon for everybody and shinigami theme!  

They both deal with shinigami, spirits, fighting, and they both have transforming dealing with swords. In Bleach, their katana have powers and in Soul Eater, the swords are people that can make their body a weapon. 

Besides being another action heavy series, Soul Eater also deals with safe caretaking of souls. The meisters are similar to the soul reapers in that they have a relatioship or partnership with their weapon, though their relationship isn't nearly as vague as the ones between reapers and their weapons. 

In both Bleach and Soul Eater, super-powered students learn from even more powerful masters. The emphasis on unique weapons is also a similarity, as well as the two major themes of action and comedy. FYI, I watch Bleach in dubs, but I obviously watched Soul Eater in subs. I don't know if this matters to anyone who sticks to one or the other. 

If you think bleach could focus more on teenage drama, jokes, boobage, and general silliness, then this is for you. If you like how bleach can be very serious, then you will find this childish. I don't mean to sound to down on a show that I'm recommending, but it's prettymuch a ripoff of bleach's plot but changed around to appeal more to a younger and/or unisex audience rather than only males. Soul Eater has more jokes, and more fan service. 

They both involve shinigamis and taking souls. In Bleach, they release the souls into Soul Society while in Soul Eater, their scythes eat 100 souls in order to turn into the ultimate scythe. 

Soul Eater is basically bleach but with more emphasis given to the Zanpakutoh or in this case technicians' weapon. 

Bleach and Soul Eater are the same in many ways, around human's soul and the main character duty...... 

Both Soul eater and Bleach involve defending humans from transformed monsters Bleach(hollows) soul eater(kishin) Both have an area where people are trained to fight these beings Both involve using weapons that transform Bleach uses Bankai , Soul Eater- Soul Resonance Soul eater is more like an awesome version of the filler series in Bleach where all the captain's weapons had transformed 

Bleach and Soul Eater are very similar in regards to warrior and weapon developing a relationship through basic human interaction, which strengthens their bonds and in turn makes them more powerful and badass. Though not as overpowered as DragonballZ and Bleach characters, I found myself at the edge of my seat during Soul Eaters fights rather often. I enjoyed the show greatly and found many similarities to Bleach hence the recommendation.

The characters fuse with their blades and the story is all about shinigamis etc! 

The both are about shinigami, hollows/kishin, death and the afterlife. Also both are shounen with a strong story line 

Both anime focus on a large cast of characters, who use unique shape-shifting weapons to hunt man-eating monsters. Apart from the plot, they have similar characters (for example, Ichigo and Black Star), as well as similar comedy and overall vibe. 

Both have the same supernatural thematic (souls and stuff). While Bleach is sometimes a very serious anime, Soul Eater is funny most of the times. But one thing overlaps them both: They can be extremely profound at times. Laughing or crying, you will enjoy it. 

In Bleach all Zanpakuto have names and some have human forms (as spirits), and Soul Eater takes that to another level with characters being able to wield other humans called Demon Weapons. 

The characters in both series are striving to become more powerful by training their skill and strength. Both series are about supernatural powers and evil forces that they have to defeat (Bleach: arrancar, Claymore: youma). But more importantly, I find the character development in both series also very similar, both Clare and Ichigo have a motive to become stronger, Ichigo's motive is to protect his loved ones, Clare want's to become stronger in order to avenge her deceased surrogate mother. 

There are evil beings that need to be defeated in both anime. In Bleach, there are Hollows and Arrancar while in Claymore there are Yoma and Awakened Beings. The protagonists are training to become stronger. 

While Claymore contains a dark and serious nature in contrast to Bleach's senseless humor and hyperactive action, fans of one would most likely enjoy the other. An organization of sword-wielders, where warriors have varying techniques and ranks, is the major similarity between the two.  

Bleach is basically a several hundred episode, more light-hearted version of Claymore. An organization (Claymore, Soul Society) has a bunch of warriors that fight a certain type of enemy (Yoma, Hollows) with each warrior using a sword that has a certain power. While the storylines are drastically different, the whole set up is fairly similar. 

They are both action packed and you learn to love all the characters. And then there is always the [spoiler] "transforming" aspect of each anime [/spoiler] which really gets exciting =) 

Although it is only 26 episodes long and there are basically merely 2 main characters, there are three important things in common with bleach that makes this a good tip for you. Swordplay, superpower and shounen-like style. 

:: Both focus on supernatural action, with a sufficiently engaging story :: Centered around elite, anti-demon groups("The Organization", fighting yoma; Shinigami, fighting hollows) :: Fighters in said groups are made unique by abilities seemingly linked to their personalities--differing fighting archetypes(offense,defense), supernatural traits(regeneration,agility), and sword techniques("flash-sword") for Claymores; differing fighting areas(kidou, etc.) and unique zanpaktou for Shinigami 

In both series, the main characters wield swords to overwhelm their enemy. Ichigo and Clare share somewhat the same ability, meaning that Ichigo is a half-hollow and half-human and Clare is a half-youma and half-human. The only big difference is that Claymore has more blood and violence compared to Bleach. 

Both Claymore and Bleach focus on supernatural sword fighting,both main characters crave to get stronger and in both anime there is some sort of a organization and a ranking system 

Awesome and hardcore fight scenes with cool animation! 

Big swords? Check. Half-human-half-demons? Check. Using demonic powers to slay demons? Check. Each person has a unique special ability? Check. There are ranks among the organizations signifying power? Check. An organization that turns out to be bigger than it actually seems? Check. A third, stronger faction which threatens the fate of the world? Check. Useless mascot characters? Check. 

Both are about an organization (Bleach's Soul Society/ Claymore's "whatsername organization") and about fighters (Shinigami/ Claymore's Fighters) who protect humans from monsters (Hollows/yoma), being their powers based or influenced on the monster that they have to defeat. Of course, both of them follow the main character that grows stronger (Ichigo/Clare) as the show goes by. Also, both of them represent individuality and the importance of having goals. (That means that every character, with powers, have their own special attacks and techniques, (Zampaktous/yoma's aura). Both have tons of action and very entertaining fights. Also, be aware that claymore has more middle-age english style and bleach has a "now a days" style. And not to mention, on both series fighters have swords (Claymore's fighters have ridiculously big non-katana sword. Again, it has a middle-age King Arthur Style) And that Claymore has only 26 eps. and bleach have being airing since 2008, i think. ANy comments, please feel free to comment/ask.   

This one may seem an odd pick for some, but Claymore is EPIC and has a lot of the same emotion that Bleach offers. The main character is half human-half demon (Ichigo-ish) who is created to hunt these monsters, and becomes stronger as she goes, protecting the innocent. The catch is, the more often she uses her demon powers, the more that side of her takes over... and for all her kind, it's inevitable that they will become a monster themselves eventually... or is there another option?... 

They're both about a group of sword wielding warriors with super powers who have to hunt down man eating monsters. Also in both shows the main protagonist has a dark side and he/she struggles to controll it. 

If your into demons and supernatural sort of thing, these two we're the right ones to watch. Both protagonist posses similar sort of dark abilities and a similar dream to achieve.  

Both are battle shounen, with Themes of friendship and lots of battles, also The two big organizations in these two series are very similar, with a bunch of captains leading their own squads and one figure standing above them all.  

Both are great Shounen and highly enjoyable They have great fights, good music and good animation in fights specially black clover Bleach has a soul reaper setting , while black clover has magic 

Both these shows have a balance of serious moments as well as funny ones. Both also take the time to focus on some of the side characters, while also making some of the other characters with less screentime have a bit more of a personality instead of making them obscure. 

Similarities: Both Bleach and Black Clover are very similar story-wise and character-wise Both anime's Main Characters go from having nothing (very weak) but is steady Both MCs has rival friends who compete against them to get better Both MCs have similar goals Both are underestimated and they surpass their limits which surprises their friends 

The mangaka of Black Clover cited Bleach as one of his major inspirations, and it's easy to see why, both have squadrons of super powered people led by a group of extremely powerful captains who fight to protect the people and have protagonists who mostly use a dark power from an evil race and a sword to fight. 

Swordsman MC's, squads of fighters, great side casts, and cool transformations with powers based on the users' personalities. 

The author of Black Clover said in interviews that the creator of Bleach was one of his greatest inspirations and we can confirm this by the similarities between both series. There are various similarities regarding some specific characters and the world building, also even in the plot on a minor scale, so there is good chance of enjoy the other series if you like one of them. 

Black Clover and Bleach are shonens with typical shonen stamps, I don't want to talk about them here. Instead, I'd mention that both series have amazing characters that are fun to watch. Both stories have good villains and untypically for shonens actually good plot. Also both main characters are incredibly overpowered swordsmans who just want to help their friends. The sense of humour in both anime is similar too, ranging from poop and butt jokes to really smart and funny ones. Finally, two of the shonens are really interesting to watch, but you need to give them some time. 

they both are pretty good anime its a must watch there are many similarities between them also yuki tabata himself has said he is a huge fan of bleach alongside kubo sensei you will enjoy it as its an old gen

Black Clover and Bleach are both entertaining animes where you would jump out of excitement and root for them until the end because both main characters of the two shows will never quit if it's for a friend or family.

Action --- if it is what you are looking for than look no other than ONE PIECE.... This anime series is not only similar to Bleach but in fact I think even more than you wanted... The Comedy, Drama, Action, Adventure, Surprise, Stupidy, Excitement, Tearful, and sooo oooo oooo much more to your expectation..... As Bleach goes to the other world where spirits lies, One piece sails to many Unique and unbelievable islands that's full of surprise ..... Go for One piece, It is A hell of an adventure... 

Similar type of humour and action, good-only-for-fight-but-a-very-good-guy main char. 

Both shows are about fighting, and the desire/need to become the strongest. The fight scenes are well done, and a bit drawn out in both shows. However, if the length of a fight in either show doesn't bother you, then you will like the other. There is also a fair amount of humor to both shows. The main characters in both shows are funny and likable. Also, in both shows there is great comedy relief chacters (kon and usopp). A thing to note is that one piece starts very slowly, but if you give it time it will get you hooked. Also, even though it is at 364 episodes, one piece, according to the creator, has been completely planned out, all the way to the ending, so there is an ending plan, they aren't just making stuff up to keep the show going. I only say that because many people find that with long animes they get redundant.  

Like One Piece Bleach contains lots and lots of awesome action. Most of the time it's like.. nonstop action. Humor is a part of the anime too, just like in One Piece. Both of them are ongoing series, and the animation of Bleach just kicks ass (at the current episodes, 200 and 450+). The story's done great and the characters are amazing, the development of the story and characters are done great too. 

One Piece and Bleach are both shounen anime's, have a lot of episodes (and are still airing). They both contain adventure, action and comedy. One piece is less serious, has more comedy and therefore bleach is the more serious type of those two. Bleach plays somewhere around the presence while One Piece is completely mixed. I'd say it's a few years back but they already got bazooka's for example. Also here again, less serious. Both the main characters have a special power. Ichigo (Bleach) is a Shinigami and Luffy (One Piece) is a Rubber Man. 

Both of these anime we're talking about fighting and both are like adventures. They sure like together. Both of the protagonist looks funny, but when they fight, they are actually strong, I suggest this one, both of this anime we're popular, so good. 

Both best mainstream anime 

Both series are long running (lots of episodes) series that center around action and fighting. The main characters are very good and the stories are very profound. The powers of the characters are amazing and will make you want the next episode just to see what epic battles will come next. 

One thing that really popped out of One Piece was hugely intense and epic fights with sad background. What anime would have fights like One Piece? Bleach has it. Bleach also has similarities in supernatural powers and sense of humour. The one who loves One Piece loves Bleach as well as other Shounen animes although One Piece is best and Bleach second. 

If you're a big fan of Zoro because of his sword fighting skills, you might actually want to watch Bleach. This is mainly because both shows have a grumpy character that carries around a unique sword, or swords, and holds mass amounts of power. Ichigo Kurosaki finds himself being a substitute reaper for Rukia Kuchiki; an injured reaper who cannot continue her duties. Ichigo is not your average hero, but we find him saving the day—even if it is a little begrudgingly.  

It has a mc who wants to protect his friends and goes through trial and error to get stronger and defeats opponents with his own power. 

In both, the main characters when they met the first time, one got a power from the other. They share the same elements gods/shinigamis and hollows/ayakashis. But Noragami has a darker setting than Bleach and it's shorter. 

Bleach and Noragami are similar even in the first few episodes, there's someone connected to 'souls' 'soul society' whom the other main character can see as well. Both give a similar feeling with the monsters they encounter and comedy aspect slid in. 

Noragami resembles Bleach in several small ways, one of the most interesting is about the way that the creators of both animes show their vision of how spiritual beings interfere in everyday human activities whether explicable or inexplicable. Noragami screams of a Bleach without way too hardcore-mainstream Shounen. The human main protagonist can see ghosts and other beings. The other main character can't fight on her/his own and shares her/his powers with the other protagonist. The Bleach-concept of Souls is in too. There are also the individuals in-between Humans, Souls and Afterlife. The main protagonists belong to this category. There are weak-strong and strong-weak relationships. The original multi-worlds concept of the early Bleach-series is there too, as well as a living world, and an in-between and an afterlife residence. Near Shore - World of the Living; the Divide - Passage to / Hueco Mundo; Far Shore - Soul Society.  

Both animes are about fighting evil spirits, with weapons made from someones souls. Both main characters have a good sense of humor and has to protect their friends. 

Both shows have a main character go from human form to spirit form. Through the shows they fight similar spirit enemies. 

The two animes' main theme revolves around spirits and gods. The main characters become friends with one of the gods. The weapons are very similar in the way that they can grow stronger. However, if you are going to watch Bleach, be prepared to watch lots of episodes as there is 300+.  

Both have worlds that ordinary humans cannot see and their swords have a life or form that can change into Human body. Or I could say that Noragami is similar to Bleach's zanpakuto arc.

Noragami also has the spiritual world with invisible monsters , and the also invisual in a seperate society living gods that protect them from them. Both protags have dark side to them - tho differently executed, both shows have the aspect of having a bound to their weapon, tho noragami does this a lot more than bleach. Also both are great shounen with amazing fights, osts and atmosphere 

The Other World setting, kind of same humor, hot characters, good fights 

well its a shounen action type anime with awesome, very funny and unique characters it has a good storyline and awesome art and animation .If you liked Bleach your guaranteed to like Fairy tail 

Fairy Tale and Bleach are shounen super-power action animes adapted from their perspective mangas with each Main Male Character getting into which include a lot of battles with many characters as they try to become stronger to protect their friends and generally they act like each other in personality, such as they hate seeing the weak get bullied and are dumb when it comes to girls and feelings of love towards them. Each MMC has a rival that hated them at first but eventually they became a strong team and good friends that also wanted to become stronger. This means that the comedy and reactions from others are the same due to the characters similar personalities, both animes seem light hearted at first dealing with friendships but soon the battles become dangerous, with more darker themes of betrayal and a foreboding sense that if the MMC dont become stronger, alot of people will die, so the suspense and intensity pace is about the same. If you like the suspense and action of one series, you will probably like watching the other.  

They're both great long term anime, with a series comedic aspect about them. Throughout the series both the main characters become stronger, and gain friends and new enemies along the way. The friends they gain help fight the fights that one person can't do alone. Well either way, both of them are great anime, so I'd suggest to watch them both.  

Bleach is a bit older than Fairy Tail, but if you enjoyed the feel-good of Fairy Tail then I'm sure you will enjoy Bleach too! 

Fairy Tail reminds me a lot of Bleach. You feel the same attachment to the characters, both have a lot of interesting battles, and the lead characters are always determined to save his friends. It also makes you feel like you've known the characters for a long time. 

Bleach and fairy tail are almost the same shonen jump anime they have adventure supernatural creatures and humans with supernatural power that fight for their friends sake the only difference between bleach and fairy tail is that bleach has shinigami ( death gods ) and the plot is the rescue of Rukia and orihime ( at arrancar ) and at fairy tail there are wizards and the plot isn't so specific because the enter a lot of adventures 

Both are shounen anime that focus on brash and somewhat reckless main characters who often engage in fights against stronger enemies. Both are action-packed, with some humor slipped in, and with many similar plot elements. They both have a large casts of quirky characters, each having different powers. Also, both anime have a similar atmosphere. 

Progressively getting more powerful through out the anime, also protects his friends a lot. 

The main boy characters started fighting when they were 15yrs old, both weild a sword and have to train to use their powers, both boys have friends with their own special abilities and have one friend that was afraid of them at first but got used to them, both boys want to get stronger to protect people although in Ao no Exorcist, Rin wants to get revenge on a powerful demon too....both Rin (Ao no exorcist) and Ichigo (Bleach) have the same personalities. Both Series have an adult man that knows something in each episode that the boys go to for advice and training, like in Bleach its Urahara, a former Soul Reaper and in Ao no Exorcist its the Chancellor of the High school, a demon that's also an Exorcist. Both animes deal with death and trying to fight supernatural beings bent on trying to kill everyone so there's this foreboding sense that if the MMC dont become stronger, alot of people will die, each episode showing more dangerous battles and situations then the last so the suspense, action and intensity is about the same, until they reach a showdown with the individuals causing all the "I will kill you and all your friends because I hate that you live" feelings they come across in each battle. If you like the suspense and action of one series, you will probably like watching the other.  

Ao no Exorcist and Bleach are action series in which both main protagonists are thrust into supernatural worlds where they both gain powers that they never thought they'd acquire to defend the world from demons or hollows that normal people can't see. And ultimately, both of them struggle with their identities because of how these powers change them. Both series feature a lot of swordplay and plenty of unique and cool characters so you're bound to relate to at least one of them in some way. It's safe to say that, if you enjoyed watching Ao no Exorcist, you will most likely enjoy Bleach, and vice versa.  

Main protagonist is mostly brawn and no brains, but they have friends that always have their back. There is a focus on swordplay, demons (that can't be seen by normal people), and friendship. 

Both are to do with otherworldly beings for example; the shinigami and the hollows in bleach and the demons within Ao No Exorcist. Whilst the plots are quite different, they are both great animes (if you exclude bleach's filler). I highly recommend both anime. 

Ao No Exorcist is really similar to Bleach storywise. It also meddles in the affairs of ghosts and souls, and the main character in Ao No Exorcist is as aggressive, emotional and dedicated as Ichigo! Ofcourse this comes with several less honourable traits that every main character has. Swordplay and Kendo play a big role in the action and combat of this anime, and the action is very fast-paced. There is good character progression like in Bleach. The diffrence in storyline and perspective is the fact that this anime fully focusses on the main character, whereas in Bleach there are several episodes and storylines dedicated to other characters. All in all, another solid action anime, good story, fast and fluid combat and fast-paced. If you liked Bleach, you will like Ao No Exorcist too. -Aquila  

It's like Bleach in both story and action. It may have less action, but it at least has some of it and, like Bleach, the plot isn't too good or complicated.  

Both main characters in anime series acquire hardly controllable supernatural powers, wield swords, kill demons for the ultimate purpose. In Ao no exorcist Rin have to save the world and his brother from destruction of demon lord (his father). In Bleach Kurosaki have to fight with all kinds of hollows becouse they are bad guys :D So yeah these anime are qute similar, but there is 2 main differences: 1) Bleach is way way longer than Blue exorcist 2) Bleach has more story into it and is better :p In summary start watchting if you still haven't :)

Both is about the fight against the underworld of some sort, and the main characters both weild swords the plot is also similar in certain aspects, i'd recommed you watch it for yourself :), much more fun than for me to write spoils here ;). 

Both anime have beings that eat human souls (Hollows in Bleach, Tomogara in Shakugan no Shana) and the humans/pseudo-humans that fight them (Shinigami in Bleach, Flame Haze in Shakugan no Shana). Both are also centered on a human that can see/fight these beings. 

If you watched both Bleach & Shakugan no Shana, you'll see a lot of similarities. -Both involved supernatural after-life life forms that harm humans (Hollows in Bleach, Crimson Denizen/Tomogara in Shakugan no Shana). -both involved spiritual protectors/enforcers that are human/pseudo-humans (shnigami/soul reapers in Bleach, flame haze in Shakugan No Shana). -main male character (Yuji Sakai in Shakugan No Shana, Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach) meet a mysterious female main character (Shana in Shakugan no Shana, Rukia Kuchiki in Bleach). Although both Yuji and Ichigo can see spirit, they differ a lot by personality, & other things. So if you are a fan of Bleach, chances are you might find Shakugan No Shana to fit your taste given that the premise of both titles are very similar.  

There is a lot of action in both animes, and both can be funny at times. Shakugan No Shana has more of a romance/harem theme though. 

Bleach and Shakugan no Shana are similar because the main character meets a mysterious girls with mysterious powers. Some of the differences are there is romance in Shakugan no Shana unlike in bleach which is mainly about the action. 

Both main male characters meet mysterious girls with abilities beyond human knowledge. Also both male characters become more stronger and powerful during the story line. However Bleach doesn't have any romance or anything like that but Shakugan no Shana has a hint of romance in it. 

Of all the anime I've watched so far, I feel that Shakugan no Shana is most similar to Bleach. The first few episode of both anime start out in the same way; A seemingly normal boy meets a girl from another world of some sort and the life of the boy is changed forever. Both anime focus on action, however, Shakugan no Shana also seems to focus on romance more than Bleach ever did. Personally, I don't care much for romance, especially in an anime that focuses so much on action. However, I feel that the element of romance helped Shakugan no Shana's story in the long run. In the end, if you liked Bleach, I feel that you'll most certainly like Shakugan no Shana.  

Endless fighting, Each Character has uniqe zanpakuto/cloth, Similar approach on story, Fillers all over the place. Captains=Gold Saints Saint Seiya inspired Tite Kubo into being a mangaka. MUST watch for any Bleach fan. 

Both have cinematic fights and an epic cast with a sub-theme of self sacrifice.

I can't believe it, dudes. They both so similar! Bankais, captains and like them saints have diffirent cloths with diffirent powers. (well some times they share one element) It's like a Bleach 20 years ago! I didn't seen anything so similar (and i watched Beelzebub), you should definitely check this out!

Saint Seiya "created" Bleach. Kubo is a fan of series so if you love bleach, you will love a True classic Saint Seiya too!  

Bleach is pretty much a spiritual successor to Saint Seiya. It has a similar arc structure. There are the Gold Saints which are the equivalent to the Captains. They have similarities with the main antagonist being similar be it powers and the plottwist. The Hades Arc which are adapted as OVA's are similar to Bleach's thousand year blood war Arc. If you like Bleach, there is a high chance you like Saint Seiya.

both featured a tough guy who meets girl from another world and after that gets a supernatural powers. through the story he meets a new friends which also very similar like horny lion or a shy girl who love the main character. sometimes even story will make you say "wow! this is just like Bleach! :D" but with all this similarities Beelzebub feels more like a comedy then a fighting anime. both have same score: 8.01. so if you have weird fetishes, like watching only shows with same score, then go for it. 

both have cool action scenes and while beelzebub is more on the comedy side,they have both funny moments. 

both protagonists are strong, cool, irritated guys, who involve in a strange matter from the other side - both animes have same genres and their manga running in the same magazine 

share genres, many Bleach characters have their analogs in Beelzebub, story told in a similar way and main characters have similar reasons to fight with enemies (which is also similar) 

story seems to be about same for rukia in bleach and beel baby in beelzebub as both got their inhuman powers from someone of shinigami or demon per say... 

They both have strong male protagonist and which they both has a female supporter that supports the protagonist throughout the story. They are very interesting once you get into the show. 

both of this anime involve using swords for fighting. although the main character are not alike they are both strong. bleach intended to have more action while gintama is more comedy

Sword's battles, Epic battles, Friendship, Fun. 

Long samurai shounens that aired in the same TV station. Gintama brings out the laughs and references, and Bleach tries it's way to be more darker. 

Large cast ( but a lot more interesting and it can be argued screentime distribution is better handled in Gintama among the cast) Just like Bleach, it has really cool character designs and the fights look great. Most of Gintama's serious arcs have a very Soul Society arc vibe in regards to the tone and the gravity of the situations (imo) Also a little side note Kubo and Sorachi (author of Gintama) are buddies, idk what that has to do with the two shows but I thought i'd mention.

Bleach and Gintama are two different Anime in regards to the story line, the content, the genres when you look at the overall episodes due to Gintama's huge amount of Comedy and Parody whereas in Bleach these Genre and topics are not really present . Still, when you are a Fan of Bleach the serious parts of the story line of Gintama are probably the things that you would want to watch. The Animation, the soundtrack, the action scenes, the friendship and Drama are in some way or another making the Anime to an extent similar. In short, if you enjoyed Bleach you will most probably enjoy Gintama as well.   

Demon of some sort or another apear, though the concept behind each are very different. There are also a ton of sword play in there that works beatifully. 

- Power-up after Power-up after Power-up etc. - Supernatural/Demons - The main antagonists are the biggest trolls you'll ever meet 

This series doesn't really have demons in it, but much of it has to do with spirtual beings and powers and there's a lot of action similar to what's seen in Inuyasha. The episode count is pretty close as well as the characters' special abilities and swordplay. 

the story remembers me inuyasha very much... both have a main caracter that has a weapon and envolve it untill it stay very strong and they fight against monsters 

both are high-action anime, with a humorous plot featuring sword wielding male protagonists with similar teenage problems. 

Both are long-running series that deal with demon slaying and spiritual powers. The male leads (Inuyasha/Ichigo) are extremely similar- they're both stubborn, short-tempered, impulsive, sarcastic and highly protective. They also both wield gargantuan blades that can fire a gigantic shockwave with a single strike. The main villains are also very similar, though to say why would be a spoiler. Personally, I think both are brilliant, though Inuyasha is definitely better, as it has slightly better characters and much better pacing. 

It's obvious that Kubo borrowed many elements from his previous manga (Bleach, obviously) while working on Burn the Witch. Not only are the character designs almost copy-paste but even the way the plot is structured feels quite similar. There's also a silly shoujo-ai aura surrounding some characters in Burn the Witch and similar comic relief which also heavily reminded me of Bleach. This movie ended up quite uninspired but if you enjoyed Bleach's universe and fights, Burn the Witch might be a bit enjoyable. Who knows... 

Burn the witch is the west society branch of soul society. 10/10 recommended to those looking after finish the bleach fullbring arc.  

The anime is based on a mini series (born as a one-shot) created by the author of Bleach himself, Tite Kubo. Consequently the drawing style, the plot and the characters are very bleach-like. Also in the series there are clear references to bleach and soul society, so any fan will surely appreciate this anime. 

Both are written by the same person, Kubo, and are set in the same universe but in a different place. Both main characters are part of a group that saves people from monsters, Bleach with "Soul Reapers" saving humans from "Hollows" while Burn the Witch is "Witches" saving humans from "Dragons". 

They are made by the same author and are in the same Universe, which means that they are connected to each other. They have similar vibes and the same beautiful character design that Kubo-sensei excels in. 

same creator, same universe but different location. please watch this so we get a continuation of it! 

Rurouni Kenshin is similar to Bleach as they both have swords, are action based mainly, have many funny moments and Kenshin, similar to Ichigo tries his best to protect his friends. 

Both of these animes have great sword fights. They also artistically do period art, though Bleach also has modern things in it.  

Ichigo and most shinigami in this series battle using sword. They have good sword fighting style. Meanwhile Kenshin and several characters in his anime also battle using sword as their main weapon. Both give us beautiful story with great sword fighting choreography. Two thumbs for both of them, banzai sword! fuck gun! 

I think, they're kind of similar, especially the main characters Kenshin <-> Ichigo. 

One can say Bleach is identical to Yu Yu Hakusho but underlying it's true message is that it is Rurouni Kenshin's spiritual successor with the setting of YYH. The story is about the orange haired male fighting to protect their friends with a sword powerful enough to slay evil to bring justice in a strict moral code. A lot of moral implications regarding politics are shown. Even anti heroes have the same standards. Ichigo's group is similar to Kenshin's: Ichigo-Kenshin Rukia-Kaoru Renji/Sado-Sanosuke Ishida/Urahara-Saito Kon-Yahiko Orihime-Megumi Isshin-Hiko Governments that are the central focus said to be corrupt as well: Soul Society-Meiji Government Antagonists are identical too: Aizen-Shishio Gin-Soujiro Tousen-Usui Espada-Ten Swords 

In many ways Bleach seems like a modern Rurouni Kenshin Ichigo/Kenshin: Both are warriors who fight with swords to protect and struggle with their inner demons Rukia/Kaoru: The most shipped love interest and also the first woman the main protagonist meets Renji/Sanosuke: Enemies became MC's best friend after being beaten by them Saito/Grimmjow: MC's rival Shishio/Aizen: Main villains who want to overthrow a specific government and rule a different world Sojiro/Gin: Sword prodigies who have their eyes closed most of the time and have the silent killer vibe I can go on but I think Bleach is more similar to Rurouni Kenshin than Yu Yu Hakusho as many say 

Punked out. Those two words describe both series at first glance. The main character's both have attitude, attitude which is slightly if not completely misunderstood. The character facets the character in each series show end up being basic, only to progress as the series progresses. 

main characters have similar personalities, similar way of showing dynamic "fights" - if you don't go into detail about bleach being more mystical - you get the same type of childish humor and heroic main character... 

The story lines are completely different, yet the main characters are what made me think, "If you love Bleach, you'll love Air Gear." I certainly did. They are both brash and loud and uncontrollable and obnoxious , yet they both have this need to become stronger and end up overpowering and growing more than anyone around them. There are alot of major differences in the story though. Young minds...Beware. There is alot (I mean ALOT) more mature feel to Air gear... Or maybe I should just say, its alot more ecchi. Lol. Which is fine, if your okay with it ;) One is about shinigami's and death... and the other is about in line skating. But I would have to say, they both had a very similar feel in terms of character development, and attachment. I sincerely wish they would have gone on with Air Gear, and am very pleased Bleach has come as far as it has. I say Carry on!! And go watch Air Gear...  

Bleach would be one of the more obvious recommendations. Both animes have humor and action along with perverted scenes, but that's what is expected out of Shonen. Granted, both series are good especially if you're willing to sit through more episodes. 

both are faction vs faction themed stories as well as lots nice to look art and character designs and visuals as well as lots of action too. 

They both deal with the entire boy getting powers, protecting girl, death spirits kind of theme. 

Very similar in that there are monsters that the 'special people' with special powers must protect the humans from, different dimensions and so on.  

Although both deal with different theme's, both anime's deal with action-packed adventures, comedy, similar clothing and enough eps to live of for a longer period. 

Both involve a junior high/high school kid finding out that he has some kind of secret supernatural power. With these powers, they save innocent people from the attacks of monsters that resulted because of ghosts that became these monsters after they couldn't reach "the other side". They even have kind of the same outfits... and although they both have this action, they're both pretty funny. 

Both the anime is very similar, Ichigo and Yoshimori discovering their powers, first the two girls Rukia and Tokine behind them is stronger, after which time they are becoming stronger and wants to protect all to them precious, and others. both anime have many different type spirits ( evil, good...) Both protagonist helping spirits, normal people don't see them. The man character in kekkaishi have Sumimura family's demon dog and in bleach special type of soul pill called a "modified soul" or "ModSoul. Both anime verry funny and somtimes sad, animation in both very good, plot is little different. Ishigo ( shinigami) Yoshimori ( Kekkaishi). 

Both have Shingami, both deal with hell. It deals with dealing with the criminal, though more so in Death Note. 

Impossible to forseen what would happen in the next chapter. Interesting plot full of unrevealed secrets and presumtions. If you are interested in shinigami world as well and delight with death ... This anime is ideal for you. GO FOR ... DEATH NOTE! ... reveal the unrevealed 

both of them are very good and suggest you to watch both of this shows 

Shinigami. Death Note and Bleach both have high school students who have their lives changed by shinigami alike. Although Death Note is indirect, with Light finding the Death Note at his school. Bleach is more direct that Ichigo gains his powers directly from Rukia. Both are good anime for the shounen demographic with Death Note being for the psychological lovers, having a ton of mind games. Bleach being for those who love action.  

Both series have species that are larger than and eat humans. Both series protagonists' mothers died due to those species, and both protagonists turn out to be or have the power of those species. Both series have that one girl (They look similar too lol) that has a great love for their brother. 

Bleach and Shingeki no KYojin are similar to each other because in the start humans fight against evil creatures (hollows and titans) and not each other. Moreover, human enemies that appear afterwards are traitors in both anime (SPOILER if you haven't watched the anime Aizen and Annie). Μy opinion-based similarity is that both anime have great action scenes.

The hollows are kind of like titans, and the mc possesses hollow abilities just like the mc in aot possesses titan abilities 

Yuuma is an enemy of the Border before officially joining them. Same situation with Ichigo. Jin is the new Kenpachi Zaraki.  

Protagonists of both series are attacked by invaders of another world, then saved by someone with powers to defeat them. An organization is dedicated to fighting these invaders (neighbors/hollows), both have a hierarchy of multiple squads and leaders, filled with an incredibly large cast of characters with colorful designs and personality, so it's difficult to not find at least one character you enjoy. If you miss Bleach then you'll likely find a lot you like here, both contain action packed power-up based fights with comedy mixed in-between, tone is similar as both are adaptations of manga series published in Weekly Shounen Jump. It should also be noted that there is invasion arcs in both, with humanoid versions of the enemy (aftokrator/arrancars).  

Two shonen series that share similarities: An organization that protects the human world of creatures from other worlds using portals to traverse the worlds. The heroes struggle with other bodies to protect his real body. 

Its like bleach but with out the OP main and more other worlds then the 2.5 that bleach had 

Simply: Bleach = the new Dragon Ball with sword! The plots, the battle and scenes just give you that very same feelings. 

Both are formulaic battle-shounen anime, based on manga by Weekly Shounen Jump. They have a similar main characters, who are always fighting against new foes and menaces in order to protect their friends, and who are always training hard to get stronger. Both are quite action-packed, have similar comedy and an overall similar vibe.

it may seems like a pretty bizarre recommendation and i don't know what to mention besides a similar genres, but both Yoshihiro Togashi and Tite Kubo was heavily inspired by Masami Kurumada's Saint Seiya and it's clearly shows. they both feels really similar, but without copying eachother. 

Both series are long running (lots of episodes) series that center around action and fighting. The main characters are very good and the stories are very profound. The powers of the characters are very well thought of and become even more epic as the serie progresses. They will have you drop your jaw when you see the epic battles. 

Bleach is very similar to hunter x hunter , instead of "Nen" it is spirit energy and the main characters are slightly older. 

both have a regular high school student as a main who discovers his hidden powers and team up with other school mates, funny fillers & serious top notch action. If u liked bleach, ur going to love hitman reborn. 

The characters undergo a journey of discovering their potential, and the most humorous situations I have seen in a long while. 

Both start out with the main character more or less unwillingly becoming part of a supernatural group (Shinigami, Mafia) which they slowly become more acquainted with. Both series also have a introduction arc, in which we see the main character use their newly found powers throughout their daily lives and get interrupted by their new affiliations. This kind of arc is great for getting us to know these characters and the only series I have seen use a laidback arcl ike this is YuuYuuHakusho, but even that went into more tense situations fast, so this is more of a distinct feature of Bleach and Reborn Both series also have an arc that's way too long and will likely make you question why you are still even watching during the mid section  

- Using weapons imbued with spirits whose power augment your own to fight evil monsters. - A hotheaded protagonist who just has to protect all of his friends. Watching Owari no Seraph makes me nostalgic of the early seasons of Bleach. 

A military organization uses magic weapons that activate/change form when the wielder calls their name. These weapons are named after the being posessing/representing them, which wielders must form a bond with through meditation or confrontation. The military organization is not quite as it seems with secrets and factional conflict just below the surface. 

Both deal with evil spirits like yoma, and hollows. Also deal with an evil mastermind pulling the strings the whole time. Also Kazuma's and Ayano's relationship is a lot like Rukia and Ichigo's. 

They both involve lots of sword fighting and tons of techniques that are similar both very good action anime. 

Both main characters share the hability to watch spirits, but Bleach's plot changes a lot after the entrance in Soul Society.  

both are supernatural themed stories with lots stylish art and character designs and the mcs being the only ones to see all the supernatrual shit around them too. 

One Punch Man does not simply just give you amazing Bleach feels, it kind of repeats what we all have seen in it. - The art I think is a mix between Bleach and Dragon Ball, like the villians got that typical face, eye, eyebrow and nose shape in DB, while Saitama's face looks exatly like Madarame Ikkaku's and his expressions look very alike to the ones Bleach characters would be drawn with - We have that really overpowered MC that is not typical only for Bleach but for much other animes. The difference here is that Saitama is overpowered even at the beginning, while Ichigo gradually (or not that gradually) got control over his powers and leveled them up a couple of hundred times - He beats all the villians and always wins. Doesn't matter how strong the enemy is, our Saitama always beats the crap out of them, usually with only One Punch. Ichigo had some really hard time beating asses but he always did win too -   

Epic fights,funny moments its just Bleach has a lot more interesting plot and storyline and uses sword 

The environment feels very similar, besides that the Kamui in KLK remindes me the Zanpacto in Bleach. And in both series the OST is just AMAZING. So if you like good fights, amazing OST and pure comedy, You will probebly enjoy this. 

both are action themed stories that focus on taking down the bad guys and also lots of nice to look at art and visuals as well too as well as having a punk type mc too. 

Kagami Taiga and Kurosaki Ichigo share the same qualities both in personality and (slightly) appearance. Both are determined to fight for their cause and both are helped by their seemingly invisible sidekicks - Taiga is helped by Tetsuya Kuroko's lack of presence and Ichigo is helped by Rukia a shinigami who is rarely seen by humans. Although Bleach is supernatural and KNB is sports there's a fighting/shounen aspect in both of these animes. To me I believe anyone who is a fan of Tite Kubo's drawing style may notice a similar style with Tadatoshi Fujimaki. *Spoilers ahead* The Generation of Miracles is quite similar to the Arrancar Army although led by Sosuke Aizen the army is more antagonistic than Akashi Seijuro's GoM.  

Kuroko No Basuke is just like Bleach, the basketball version. First of all - the art style, both in anime and manga. Fujimaki's art is very much similar to Kubo's style, which is, I have to say, amazing. Instead of sword fights - basketball match, instead of Ban-kai - Zone, Gotei 13 is Seirin and the Arrankars is Kiseki no Sedai (Generation of Miracles). Grimmjow is Aomine, Kuroko is something like Rukia (lol), and Kagami is Ichigo with the looks of Renji. (I couldn't stop calling him Renji throughout the whole series, just as I couldn't unsee Grimmjow in Aomine). Aaand... Momoi is Orihime. He-he. If you liked Bleach, you will definitely like KnB, I promise (as a Bleach fan who was unsatisfied with a bunch of shonens)  

Bleach and Shaman King both have to do with swords. But instead of the token main character, they are unique. Ichigo Kurosaki, unlike the other shounen protagonists, doesn't set a goal for himself, and just tries to defeat a guy because it's the right thing to do. You, however, is more laid back, but can get serious when needed. Also they both involve spirits. 

Both anime are based on manga by Shounen Jump, and have a similar premise. Both have a main character who can see and interact with spirits, and who meets a lot of new friends, but also new enemies in his journey. Both main characters have similar ability, as they are skilled swordsmen with unique weapons. Both anime are action-packed, have a similar kind of humor and similar overall vibe. 

Both stories deal about a teenager that obtain supernatural superpowers from an inhuman source (a Shinigami in Bleach and a magical spear in Ushio to Tora) to protect his family from spiritual monsters that the normal people can't see, being assisted by a supernatural buddy (Rukia in Bleach, Tora in Ushio to Tora) and both series have an organization who also hunts these monsters. 

The beggining of this animes are very similar: The main character with your companion/mentor destroying some monstruous creatures arround the city in episodic or 2,3 episodes mini arcs. In my opinion Bleach beggining are much more similar and inspired with this than with YuYu Hakusho. After the first arc Bleach turns into a giant one arc series with his ups and downs, but i recomend if you are interested in some good fights without commitment. Ushio to Tora in my opinion decayed a lot with time but the beginning is still worth it 

Monochrome Factor and Bleach may not seem to be similar at first. However, both involve a group of friends, who use their non-human-like powers to defeat evil (in Bleach, they would be hallows, in Monochrome Factor, kokuchi). Both the main characters become extremely powerful as they progress farther into the series and fight their enemies. Also, both protagonists seem to fight to protect their friends. It both shares characters who are able to see things others may not be able to witness and both also share a lot of action and some dashes of romance here in there and the mc as well is something of a nobody type but has to fight something much bigger than themselves later on as time goes by.  

demons, shinigami and cool sword fighting. Nura follow a kid who is 1/4 yokia and becomes full yokia at night this kid is also the air to his clan and decides to protect his friends and family from evil yokia 

It both involves the main character with 2 different lives in balancing a high school student and the other dangerous life - involving supernatural stuff 

Blood+ has a lot of more Gore, but both can be really entertaining to watch. Main characters are skilled with swords and therefore have AWESOME fight scenes with lots of action!! Both of the main characters are fighting to defeat evil, almost to the point where they've had to sacrifice their lives, but manages to live. 

both are super natural action themed stories that focus on taking down the bad guys and also lots of nice to look at art and visuals as well too.  

Both are dark (to some extent) and got a lot of fighting involved. Both are ridiculously OP yet you may fall for them one day because of that. Both MC's are fighting with their inner self. Both got amazing soundtracks which will give you the feels. 

Like in Tokyo Ghoul, there are 3 sides in Bleach: The Soul Reapers are like the CCG, the Hollows are like the evil ghouls, and Ishigo and his squad is like Kanagi's. Kanagi is half human half ghoul, and Ishigo is part human, part soul reaper, but also part hollow 

The setting of both shows take place where status quo matters bridging the gap between prosperity and poverty. Later, as the plot unravels begin to unravel the conspiracy who plots to use/overthrow the status quo for their own ends. The art between the two are mature and stylish enough to portray that they are one of the well written shows in the Shonen realm. The music that is composed in these two shows are top notch to the degree that it would captivate the viewer into continuously watching the show (Shiro Sagisu-Evangelion and Masaoki Endoh-Gundam 08th MS Team).  

Now, both of these titles are very unique and don't share many thing. Both of them have a nice story line. However, Yumekui Merry is extremely short compared to Bleach. They both share the idea of returning something to a certain world. I liked one, and I liked the other. 

Both animes have lots of fights using swords and characters in both animes have superpowers. Even heroes have dual personalities. A must watch anime. 

It has a similar sword style as bleach. The groups of bleach can be related to those in Hakuouki. They're both amazing shows, and it's not a ridiculous anime. Hakuouki has a good sense of characters and a nice variety like bleach. Hakuouki is amazing, with a good anime style overall. I recommend you guys try it. 

Amazing battles of a similar nature and cool supernatural elements to boot. As far as action is concerned, Fate is on par if not superior to Bleach. The comparison comes from the style of the battles as well as the supernatural elements. Fate is also more mature than Bleach in its story and world (what I mean is that the story involves adults and more serious material as opposed to high school students). 

When I first watched Kyoukai no Rinne it immediately reminded me of Bleach. The protagonist is both a shinigami and a human, much like Ichigo, and has a very similar attitude (rather calm and only bothered by true threats). Rinne and Ichigo both have the job of sending lost souls to their respected places (Soul Society in Bleach, the Wheel of Reincarnation in Kyoukai no Rinne). Kyoukai no Rinne is a little more light-hearted than Bleach, though the humour in both animes is rather similar, for example: both Ichigo and Rinne tend to get injured in humourous scenes, or they end up arguing with their female companion.  

In both, there are different worlds, people with supernatural weapon, and the main characters are very similar to each other. These series have a very similar atmosphere of situations... It's not the same, but it's worthy to watch both of them :) 

If you like blood, swords, and boobs, the Bleach and Akame ga Kill! are for you. If you are a casual anime fan, who is looking for a general anime expierence including awe-inspiring art work, a decent storyline, with decent characters and epic battle scenes, the Bleach is for you. Following in the footsteps of Ichigo Kurosaki, we find out that Ichigo is about to learn the full extent of the universe; including the realms of the dead and 'soul reapers'. During Ichigo's travels, he encounters some wild and wacky characters; a beautiful soul reaper who cant draw called Rukia, a talking teddy bear named Kon, a man obsessed with fighting called 'Kenpachi', and many more. Meanwhile, Akama ga Kill! Reaches out to the more hardcore anime fan; with more blood, guts, and R17+ content then you can throw a book at, keep this away from children! We follow Tatsumi, a young swordsmen who is looking to get money for his crumbling village, that is tight on finance due to the corrupt imperial government. Finding out that the capital is a lot more corrupt then he originally thought it was, Tatsumi joins Night Raid, a guild of assassins that use Teigu (Imperial Arms) as their signiture weapons. These range from a sword that poisons people, a pair of scissors that can cut anything, a pair of gloves that produce razor thin wire, and even a bullet less gun. Both Bleach and Akame ga Kill! have their ups and downs; Bleach is almost 400 episodes, and that is a little bit too long to count on. But Akame ga Kill! is only 20-odd episodes, but differs from the manga, and the ending is rather shoddy at best. However, I would pay to see Aizen from Bleach against Esdeath from Akame ga Kill!. The Yaegers vs The Arrancar would be icing on the cake. In short, if you watch anime as a form of entertainment, watch Bleach. If you watch anime because it enthralls you, and you love everything about it, pick up Akame ga Kill! Bleach - 7.5/10 Akame ga Kill! - 9/10  

The series are both shounen and have a similar premise. Both the protagonists keep facing stronger enemies while trying to find a way to surpass them. The series also have impressive fight scenes; Bleach with swords and Dragon Ball with fists and energy. If you enjoy watching the main character grow throughout the series you'll probably like both of the anime.

I consider Bleach- when watched excluding the filer episodes, to be a true masterpiece. I get why a lot of people recommended other shows but this show felt like Bleach so many times, the music, the animation, the pacing, it really felt like the first two seasons of bleach. If you get to episode two or three i forget -not really a spoiler- when Touma faces off against Style then you hear the soundtrack, the pacing, and you can really see how the way things unfold are so similar to Bleach. I am really loving this anime, I can't believe it took so long to go through other users' recommendations usually just based on-'well...this character = this character, and the story is similar and it's a similar universe and the setting are the same etc and this also happens'-to get to this show. But those reviews don't help people who loved a show and want to watch something that actually feels similar and is great in it's own right. So follow my recommendation instead of those who recommend shows based off pointless similarities based on nonsense like-"magic in this too so it's similar" bullshit instead of the actual show's quality, direction, and story's feel and pacing. -Speaking of shows that feel like Bleach and are awesome watch Kekkaishi.   

Both are based on the supernatural world. When I first saw the title and description I thought this might be a pretty good anime. Come to find out it is an excellent one.There are to parts to this series Aka first then Kuro. Both are 12 episodes long making for a total of 24 episode series. The one thing I will mention is you'll be kind of left wondering if the end is the end. It is very unclear to say the least, but otherwise an excellent anime I would reccomend. 

Both are very bloody, with lots of action I do say that Deadman Wonderland has a better story though. 

Also nice action scenes, slow but good evolving story and very good character design 

These two series are action packed, but also contain some really wacky humor. Eventually the humor fades away for a more serious tone. 

Both shows follow a similar pattern of fighting monsters, then having to scale up and fight other powerful opponents. If you have not seen bleach I highly recommend it.

do you like bleach? are you a toshiro hitsugaya fan(girl)? well this is the anime for you, because the main lead in law of ueki has his exact same voice as his, except this time you actually hear him joking around. its also a shonen, super power, comedy action and has epic fightings in it like bleach both ueki and ichigo are somewhat "different" or "special" from the rest the set-up in their enviroment is also the same. for bleach, you have karakura town, the hollow world and the shinigami world for ueki you have his town, hell and than heaven, in the respective order. both power up and get stronger. both wanna fight for their friends both have no mothers but they have a dad and sister(s) they also both have a gang of friends that follow him wherever they go. ueki also had this aizen-like character. so if you want a regular shonen with little or no teenage angst, this is the show for you.
