Anime 37095 Violet Evergarden Kitto Ai Wo Shiru Hi Ga Kuru No Darou Reviews Filter Check 2

Let me begin by saying that I watched the main "Violet Evergarden" show and actually liked it and gave it an 8. In my review for the main show I mentioned that Violet's episodes are mostly stand-alone, each with its own story and very loosely connected. It is not surprising then that the OVA is basically a canon episode and would probably be indistinguishable from the others if you watched it without knowing it's the OVA.
I also wrote that the episodes' stories vary greatly (even in genre) with some scoring rates as high as a perfect 10 and some as low as 6 - well ... unfortunately this specific episodes is one of those "not really interesting" episodes (at least compared to others).

Bottom line here - If you watched the main show and liked all episodes or at least didn't dislike any episode enough to skip it then watch this as well, it may not be the best episode but it's also not the worst. If you only enjoyed some episodes but not all then might as well skip this one.

A solid episode not as interesting as some of the show's episodes but was still worth the watch. Decent writing, great directing, and some good emphasis on themes and meanings. Similar formula to pretty much any other episode in Violet Evergarden. And we some of the supporting characters again such as Claudia.

The artwork was fantastic as always with tons of scenes that could be wallpapers, the music was beautiful with great singing. And the voice acting is superb with the same actors from the series.

You should watch it if you enjoyed the show consistently otherwise you can skip it since it doesn't go over ... anything too much.

Violet Evergarden: Kitto "Ai" wo Shiru Hi ga Kuru no Darou


Can be inserted anywhere between episodes 3-8, as this is just another episode of the series with a story of its own. Violet wasn't as talented at this point as it was towards the end of the series, which apparently made it happen a little earlier.

In terms of content, the Ova is practically average, it felt a bit drawn out and the first 10 minutes were extremely exhausting, as the scenes were practically only repetitive.

The characters' story was a bit emotional, but the anime itself already had better side stories than this, which makes it ... seem a bit small.
