Anime 4224 Toradora Userrecs

Actually, they're similar only for the first few episodes, due to the similarities between Louse and Taiga and the way they deal with their soon-to-be love interests. Then, as the stories go on, Toradora characters develop while ZnT's seem stuck in the optimal situation for fanservice and cheap laughs, with no further development from that point onwards, and even some derailment in characters like Siesta. 

Basically, Toradora is Zero no Tsukaima but traditional Japanese school anime style. Same voice actor for protagonist, pretty much same plot. However Toradora is a lot less ecchi based than Zero. 

Taiga is Louise (Or Shana, if you will) with a different hair color. While I have only seen the first episode of Toradora so far, I suspect the plot will develop similarly. 

They are both funny, but in general it'ss about girls in love with some guys they mistreat. 

Tsundere loli with the same voice and complex. Beautiful harem, but in Toradora they have smaller breasts ;P 

both has romance and both the girl who treat the guy like a dog  

The realationship between the two main leads are very similar. A somewhat spoiled and bad tempered female and a really nice guy who is often abused by her. Although ZnT is in another world and fantasy, the main story and atmosphere are like each other.  

Not only are they made by the same people but if you were to watch one of these and then the other, you would swear that it's the same character but with different hair color. Taiga = Luise 

Both have the characteristic master-slave sort of relationship. Taiga and Louise are also voiced by the same seiyuu (Japanese voice actor) so you may notice a similarity in the way that they talk. Ryuuji and Saito are also pretty similar because they are accepting of the position that they are put into. The way the relationship develops between the main characters also hold importance as each of the series progresses. 

Zero is a fantasy setting where as Toradora is based in more of a real life setting. The romance progresses more quickly in Zero as well. Apart from those differences they are near carbon copies. If you like one you will almost certainly like the other. 

They are both about two totally different persons that for some reason have to live together, the female character is almost the same, voilent and rude with few friends, but really just wanting to have some that care for them, they even look the same and it is the same actress that have the voice. Zero no Tsukaima is a little more perverted and harem like, still they are both great love stories with characters that develop during the show.  

Louise and Taiga don't just share the same voice actor, which wasn't chosen without reason. The voice suits their enthusiasm and powerful character. Both girls treat they (boy) pal as servants and play with them, as if they were dogs. But in both animes, the relationship starts to grow and the girl realizes that she starts to get to like her servant. Though Zero no Tsukaima has got more "ecchi" in it - but not in a extreme art - , and deal with two total different siuations (and in Toradora the boy is more likeable) they both run out the same :) 

The main female characters of the anime Louise (Zero no Tsukaima) and Taiga (Toradora!) are voiced by the same person, Kugimiya Rie. Of course, they are both long-haired tsundere who often physically hurt the male characters with whom they are close to and eventually fall in love with. 

All the characters are funny, the heroin is a little... strong XD (she have the voice of Louise) and it's romantic... ^^ 

Loli-tsuderes voiced by Rie Kugimiya are verbally abusive to their male sidekick, but put up with him anyway. 

both the main girl chars have the same seiyu, and are both of the tsundere type... ok, there're so many others similarities... even the main girls look similar!! (just with different colour hair!)... difference is that toradora is set in the real world and zero no tsukaima's set in another world (one with none other than... care to take a guess? ... MAGIC!...). 

Louise = Taiga (chibi tsundere dominating occasionally violent female, similar clothes, same voice actor, calls male lead 'dog', etc.) Oh, and Saito = Ryuuji of course. 

Both are romances and comedies, main characters' seiyuu is the same, and aparition is similar, too.  

We all have probably seen that the main voice actors of the two of these shows are identical, but that shouldn't deter you from this. Both shows are amazing, and their style is different although their flow is similar. Turning to Toradora! for a bit, first of all, the Soundtrack for this anime is mind-blowing. I listen to it even now. I am on my second trip through the show and I've gotta say, it really is better a second time. The first time I went through, I learned quickly how drama controls this show. With comedy as the right-hand man. And romance as the basis. I believe this is a School-life masterpiece and deserves every bit of praise it receives. Really! Go ahead and watch it!  

If you like psychotic tsundere girls in short skirts who beat the crap out of guys, then you'll just love each of these. 

Similar characters (Master and "dog"[tsukaima]). Rie Kugimiya is dubbing main female in both series. 

Many times i throught i was watching Louise (Zero no Tsukaima) instead of Taiga (Toradora) . They yell the same thing like "aho no inu" or "baka! baka! baka!" or "urusai! urusai! urusai!" (this one i remembered Shana from Shakugan no Shana LOL). Anyways very good n comic anime. Strongly recommend! 

Basically both female leads is a tsundere type character that treats the male lead like a servant. Except one side is a high school anime and the other is a fantasy type anime. Both animes are equally enjoyable and so are the characters. The main females of both animes are also voiced by the same voice actress as well. 

Very similiar tsundere tematic. Different setting, but if you liked one, you are sure to like the other.

These both have the same type of love plots as the stroy goes on so does the feelings for each others chracters if you enjoyed Toradora you will definatly enjoy this =P 

The dynamics between the characters are essentially the same going from a master/servant relationship to something much more. The male lead also makes a habit out of saving and protecting the female lead. Also, it is just as funny. And oh yeah, did I mention that Taiga and Louise have the same voice actress? 

Both shows star a tsundere female protagonist, although to a much larger extent in Zero no Tsukaima. Although they don't share similar themes, they have a similar comedy style. If you liked Toradora, you might want to think about picking up Zero no Tsukaima.. 

The relantionship between two main characters is dog-master, besides they have quite similar personalities and there is something similar in the ending. 

Both with Tsundere characters in the forms of Taiga and Louise and the rom com elements in them make them very alike and would fill a gap left behind after finishing Toradora! 

Taiga and Louise are very similar. I think they're dubbed by the same person as well. They both call their boys "dog" and overall I found a lot of similarities. The difference is that Zero no Tsukaima is supernatural, action, and harem while Toradora is slice-of-life. Even so, they are both very similar. I think that anyone who has watched Toradora would enjoy Zero no Tsukaima as well. Same goes the other way around. 

Both female main characters are tsunderes and both have feelings for the male main character they are teaming up with. Usually takes place in school, and both main characters stay together or stay close to each other. Both are teaming up together to get something.

Both of these Anime are about a girl that is living their normal life and suddenly a random guy just appears. Both of the guys help the girls out with their every day life, the difference here is that one is forced to do it and one does it willingly. Eventually they both end up falling for each other which was obviously going to happen, but they are in many sticky situations. 

Both series revolve around a strong tsundere girl and an ordinary guy. In both series, the two characters are thrown together unexpectedly, but the girl quickly asserts her authority over the boy, treating him as her dog / slave. In both series, the tsundere female becomes angry due to jealousy and insecurity. She expresses herself by forcefully asserting herself as the boy's master, yelling at him, and physically abusing him. In Toradora, Taiga at least kicks him, slaps him, and punches him. She treats him alternately as a dog or a slave. She expects him to cook and do laundry for her whenever she wants, and that he should expect no thanks for his efforts. Her attitude is that because he is her dog / slave, she does not need to respect him as her equal, and she can freely abuse him as she pleases. In both series, the main character is thrust into the unexpected situation of being the tsundere girl's dog / slave. Quickly on, both male characters learn to somewhat accept their role, and unwittingly become attracted to the violent tsundere. Both guys accept her insults and beatings, even when they stem from misunderstandings. Eventually they start to win over the girl as she opens up. If you liked Zero for its fantasy and magical elements, you may not like Toradora. However, if you liked the highly demanding tsundere female who verbally and physically abuses her male dog / slave, then Toradora explores that type of relationship in more detail, and in a more sophisticated and realistic setting. On the other hand, if you are the type who doesn't enjoy loud-mouthed, violent tsunderes, it's not for you.  

The two series feature a rather small female lead who acts rather harshly to the one they love, commonly known as tsundere. The two heroines are also very self-conscious about the size of their breasts and gets angry at anyone who makes a comment about them. The male leads are also very similar as they both tend to get bossed around by the female lead quite a lot. This is where the similarities differ as Toradora has a modern-day school setting with no magical abilities, while Zero no Tsukaima (Familiar of Zero) is the opposite. Still if you enjoy small tsundere main characters such as Taiga from Toradora, then you'll love Familiar of Zero.  

- Female and male lead characters share a similar type of interaction, the female being highly dominent and somewhat spoiled - the male being a pure-hearted nice guy who is treated badly, yet in the hearts of both female leads, they do have a deeper affection for their respective "dog". Both series evolve around this element, yet in different interpretations. - Hence, If you like the tension between the characters of one series, you may just love to see this constellation in a different setting and this is the chance! While Zero no Tsukaima has an all-fantasy setting with more exaggeration, action and male-lead-torture, Toradora! chooses a realistic setting with more true-to-life moments and a deeper, less predictable approach in character behaviour - so both have unique qualities.  

First of all, sorry for bad english. The female main characters (Louise and Taiga) on both animes have almost the same personality, and the male characters (Saito and Ryuuji) are treated like a dog on both series. While Toradora! takes place on the real world, ZnT takes place on a magical world, so if you don't like slice of life series, Toradora! is not for you. Now here is the comparison: Toradora! More plot than ZnT More character development than ZnT More dramatic moments than ZnT Better characters than ZnT Better animation than ZnT Better sound than ZnT Zero no Tsukaima More fanservice than Toradora! More boring than Toradora! Yes, that's it. Overall, Toradora! is way better than ZnT  

If you enjoyed Toradora and you happen to be a Taiga fan, then you're definitely gonna enjoy Zero no Tsukaima.  

High school guy starts hanging out with extremely violent high maintenance tsundere girl voiced by Rie Kugimiya who actively attempts to kill the guy on multiple occasions (either by trying to impale him with a sword or by literally blowing him up) for dumb reasons like him talking to another girl or something (gets jealous easily. Even though they insist they don't like him) 

Zero No Tsukaima and Toradora have many things in comum: The first thing is that the voice of Louise (Zero No Tsukaima) and Taiga (Toradora) are from the same voice actor. The second is that both are tsundere in a school that hate a guy like everyone but in the final everyone start liking they and the tsundere fall in love (Saito in Zero No Tsukaima was treated like a slave and everyone didnt care of him) (Ryuji in Toradora was lonely because everyone see him as a deliquent) Both Louise and Taiga say the name of the lover so many times and in the final they kiss (Louise say everytime Ryuji Save me) and taiga (Saito Your baka) (I trade in porpuse and Louise says more times than taiga but....) Both Saito and Ryuji start with no one but in the final they have a small harem and always get hurt by his lover (Louise/Taiga) Taiga and Louise are both Small and deadly and small (if you know what i mean you know why i write 2times small) and both have a rival with big breasts (Tiffany,Henrrieta,Siesta "Zero No Tsukaima" Minami, Kawashima Ami" "toradora"  

In the sub they have the same voice actress. Both main love interest are tsunderes. Story wise isn't similar but if you enjoy either of them. You will like them vice versa. 

The characters are similar to one another. One of the romance that begins with hate then turned to love. Cute and funny. 

They're splitting images of each other, if you look a little deeper. An ultra-tsun (both are done by the same voice actor) is stuck with a unwilling teenage boy (through differing circumstances and come to care for each other (eventually) Zero no Tsukaima leans on ecchi. unlike Toradora!, but the general ideas remain the same 

Male and female protagonists in both series have almost exactly the same relationship, the abusive tsundere-type little girl (voiced by rie kugimiya) and the obedient kindhearted boy. Also both are highschool (kinda) anime. 

If you like the way Louise acts with Saitou you'll like Toradora because the main characters act the same way in term of romance. 

The plot of these shows are entirely different. But the chemistry between the main antagonists is almost identical to one another. It's like they are their counterparts from a parallel universe. If you grew fond of the relationship between the MCT's you will most likely enjoy this show 

The voice actor of Taiga is the same as Louise 

The female main characters in either animes are both tsunderes and voiced by Rie Kugimiya, an accomplished Voice Actor. Both of the series are Romantic Comedies and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys a master/servant sort of relationship.  

Both Tsundere Female leads give off same kinda vibe so if you liked one there is good chance you would like the other one. 

Both have a small, flat protagonist with the same VA that's a tsundere, and both are love stories

Even though the anime's plot is not similar, the female character (Taiga and Louise) is almost the same. Both are bad-tempered tsundere that always abuse the nice male character (by kicking them or even treating them like a dog) and rely on the male character for her daily needs. They are both voiced by the same actor as well, which adds to the similarity  

both shows have that typical tsundere character you know and love. romance plays an essential role in both shows although familiar of zero (zero no tsukaima) is not as drama intensive as toradora. familiar of zero has more ecchi scenes and is filled with more silly scenes than toradora. if you like the tsundere female and male mc dynamic, this show is for you.  

Tsundere is similar, main character is similar, romance progress is similar; these anime looks like twins - while Zero no Tsukaima has ecchi but Toradora doesn't 

Those who like Toradora, will definatly find Lovely Complex as intersting, if not even more. Lovely Complex, like Toradora, has a misleading image at the start, but the same deep charater development in the middle. The plotline drives the watcher mad and leaving him wanting for more. The animation is top of the class, there is a wide range of many, interesting, and deeply developed charaters, and excellent voice acting. 

Both have a guy and a girl working together to get together with another guy and girl. 

Both are high school love comedy with a lot of bickering between protagonists.  

The main couple are very similar, as is the overall feel of the show. Lovely Complex focuses a bit more on comedy though (a very unique kind) and the romance happens much earlier on in the series. 

Both of these animes have a guy and girl that initially hang around each other because of ulterior motives, but while doing so they slowly start to gain feelings for each other. Also both are romantic comedies that are in a school setting. 

Are both Romantic, Slice-of-life school anime which share similar aspects in the dynamics between the main male and female characters. Storyboard seems to follow the same formula. 

Main characters are helping each other getting together with their love interests, they become friends and in the end fall in love, both are crazy comedies (but LovCom much more) 

Both series are romantic comedies about two people who have problems with love. Also they are dealing with similar complexes. In Toradora they are misunderstood for their looks and in Lovley Complex there are problems around their heights. Also the humour and atmosphere are like each other. Funny, liively and energetic with a little drama ^^ 

Both of the female protagonist are really bossy. It's easy for the viewer to tell, as well as the two protagonist friends that the to mains characters should be going out. The comedy in both of these is similar. The only difference in comedy is from some of the dialect from Lovely complex since it's all from Osaka. 

Both are a in a School Setting, both are great comedies and both give a suitable amount of drama.

Series are similar in terms of plot. In addition, both series are full of humor and fun characters. Typical anime for girls. 

How are they not alike? 1. LOTS of comedy & romance 2. the main girl and guy characters are always fueding 3. the main characters try to set eachother up with someone else in the beginning until.. :) 4. the development of the characters are similar 5. if you loved one youll definately love the each other! :)) 

So called "Slice of life". Both are good romantic stories with a good humor. 

Lovely Complex and Toradora are both great high school comedy series. They are about 2 people who are in love with each others best friends, and are helping each other to get them together. In the end, they both are falling for each other. It both contains romance and comedy. If you liked Toradora! you will probably also like Lovely Complex. 

Lovely complex focuses on complexes between the two and mainly on the two main charcters' long road to love, while Toradora is more heartwarming and deeper stuff as they try to help each other to get in love with their respective targets whom they liked. Lovely complex is a lighter version of Toradora imo, and lovely complex has more comedy and less deep moments than Toradora. The later 1x - 25 episodes of Toradora seems more similar to Kanon 2006 though, because of the complicated relationships involved. 

It showcases the struggles of ones image, and overcoming the stereotypes. They both show that love really does come in all ways, shapes, forms and sizes and when you're not looking for it, it'll sneak up behind you. both animes are heartwarming and makes you sympathetic towards the characters--even the unlikely ones--at times.  

First, they hate eachother. Then, their friends. And I think you know how it is going to turn out in the end.

Romantic comedies which focuses two friends helping each other achieve their love interests. 

At first both look like a typical high-school romance, however both the stories as well as characters are made so perfectly that they really stand out.  

This has been done quite few times , why? because in both series the 2 main characters struggle in order to finally reach true love while there are obstacles in the way like cuter boys and girls ...... 

They're both funny love stories, and the main characters are sort of outcasts, and they get along because of that. Not too typical, but romantic. 

Both are lighthearted romantic comedies with just enough drama.

Its very similar due to the fact that they got different height but alter in toradora but Lovely Complex got tons of funny moments and focuses more on the main character love interest and meant to be love interest unlike Toradora takes a very long time but aside of that Toradora has unique display of storytelling.  

Both MC's try to help each other get their "loved one" however in both animes something incredible happens :D 

Both in Toradora! and Lovely Complex the male protagonist likes the female protagonist's friend. The romance and comedy are similar in multiple ways but has its own unique ways of doing so. 

Both anime talk about a boy and a girl that join forces to conquer the heart of the person that they like. Both anime are funny and also talk about physical complexes. 

This has the same kinda vibe going on between the two characters. :)  

Both are very good anime with very similar plots. Like how in love complex otanti and koizumi help each other with relationship advice like Takasu and Aisaka. Love the romance scene's specically the confessions Both are great anime to watch. If you like Love complex you will love Toradora~~~~ <3 

both series involve a relationship between a short person and a taller/normal height person. cute romance. 

Two very close friends who suddenly realise they're probably more than friends. Just like Taiga and Ryuuji, Risa and Atsushi have problems. Taiga, being short and cute but extremely fierce, and Ryuuji looking like a delinquent who is in fact quite gentle and considerate is similar to Risa the extremely tall girl, and Atsushi the extremely short boy. It can get dramatic at times, as some conflicting characters are introduced, or the two do not full realise their feelings for each other. However, the comedy is golden.  

Both have characters very stronger, especially Toradora! Is a rare relationship between two persons 

Height issue, two different people in false love with two other people. This sums it up how those two animes are similar. Other than that I prefer Lovely Complex as its better written, characters are way better not that I dislike Toradora but Lovely Complex is just better. 

These anime are mostly based on romance and comedy. Both of the protagonists in these anime have a large height difference from the other protagonist. Both start out as a friendship-like situation, neither imagine the other as a romantic partner. 

1) Both start with a friendship between two completely different characters. 2) Both start their friendship to date each other's friends.  

What we have here are two unique love stories that are thought provoking but at the same time hilarious. You might even tear up a bit on them, I know I did. 

-Both have a main friend group, and they play off each other in a dynamic way -Both have the main heroine and hero at odds with each other, however everyone but themselves can see they get along better than they understand -Both begin with the hero and heroine attempting to help the other with their respective crush -Both achieve a similar dramatic tone during sensitive scenes 

- Both are romantic comdies which revolves largely around the main male/female lead's comedic bickering. - Both the male and female share similar complex about their persons, Lovely Complex revolving around their heights, Toradora around being misunderstood for their looks. - The starting premise for both also revolves around the leads helping the other to go out with a different person, and a relatively slow progression of the relationship between the leads. Lovely Complex is perhaps the more 'girly' of the two, as it focuses more on Risa's point of view, where Toradora focuses more on Ryuji's viewpoint. 

Lovely Complex and Toradora contain similar agendas by exploring the relationship between two people who share an ambition for romantic acceptance from others. 

People who like Toradora will definitely find Lovely Complex as good, if not better. Lovely Complex, like Toradora, has a misleading image at the start, but the same deep character development in the middle. The plotline drives the watcher mad and leaving him wanting for more. 

Lovely Complex is similar in the way that the male and female leads are misunderstood or seen differently because of their appearances. Both anime are romances between the two. Highly suggest reading the manga for both as well. In my opinion, the manga makes it better. 

In both series's it takes a while for the Main characters to realise that they actually love each other after chasing after other characters. 

if you like toradora then I'm sure you will enjoy lovely complex. there are both "ignoring their love" couples and humor in lovely complex is really on another level. you won't regret. 

Love story in which opposite personality attracts.

Beginning is very similar, but after that both anime follow somewhat different paths But in general: - both anime has 2 main heroes who work on their relationship. Side characters either help them with those, either put spokes in the wheels - both are nice comedies (but Lovely Complex is funnier) - both are nice romantic shows (probably Toradora is better at this buuut it depends). Lovely complex is lighter, funnier and easier to watch, while Toradora is more atmospheric and a little bit more serious 

Both cute high school romcom anime. Main couple start out as friends and both have a significant height difference.  

Both anime involve a girl and a boy who acts trash to each other but end up became friend to help each other to get gf/bf that they are friends with it, and they both began to give romantic feelings for each other 

Both series are romcoms. Toradora is arguably the best of the genre, so if you liked this, you'll probably love Toradora  

Toradora and Golden Time shares a similar fact that involves the same author. As such, expect a similar style in terms of storytelling. There is an atmosphere of romance going on between the main characters filled with drama and comedy. The main female protagonist from both series are aggressive but at the same time also feelings lonely at many instances. On the other hand, they do meet new friends and discovery more about the world and themselves.  

From the same author focuses on a young boy's experience with romance plus it have the same taste of comedy 

Both are created by the same person. Both girls have a similar appearance. Both girls loved someone else at first but, changed there love interest at the end. 

They are made by the same writer and the story centers about a group of friends and their love story 

both started off at first where main protagonists were eyeing another individual and working together towards that goal. but eventually they end up together. 

A couple of romances that sprinkle in comedy (maybe a bit more in Toradora) Both of the female leads are similar in look, one is more of a tsundere. The original creator is the same on both of these projects so you should see some similarities.  

Toradora's and Golden Time's source material are both written by the same author. This author really knows how to write a romance, as any of you who watched Toradora realize. Golden Time is a show that really meets the romance standards set by Toradora in my book. I see them as equals, and because they are written by the same author, the level of enjoyment is the same. If you enjoyed Toradora then I can say without a doubt that you will enjoy Golden Time. 

The two shows are very similar, however both have very different characters and differences in story. Both are very enjoyable and are worth watching. 

They are very similar seeing as they were made by the same people. but Toradora! is the much better anime, saying that they are both very very good romantic comedy anime.  

Golden Time is very similar to Toradora. Both shows have the same type of humor, and both have tons of feels. Toradora is better than Golden Time, but Golden Time is worth giving a shot.

Same creator but its more focused in romance. They are similar but Golden time is more oriented into a university public and more mature than toradora. Basically Golden time is mature while toradora is for teens. 

Clearly both are a slice of life/romance anime. Toradora really delivers that same emotional impact that Golden Time did. If you found yourself shipping in Golden Time; you're going to ship a hell of a lot more in Toradora, trust me. 

It's got the same kind of nice love feeling you can get from Golden Time, but it's not as sad or heartbreaking. It's a great relaxing anime after watching Golden Time.

They are written by the same author Takemiya, Yuyuko. Golden time is also a romance comedy. Golden Time will make you laugh, cry, and feel the caring and love between characters. The characters gradually mature and improve as well. Toradora! is the best romance I have seen, and one of the anime that comes close to its greatness is Golden Time. 

U can really relate. Banri like Ryuuji i.e., frst falls love with co-female protagonist then,finally with main. Koko lke Taiga i.e., first confessed their love to best friend of male protagonist only to get rejected. Chinami like Taiga i.e., first reject the boy then,fall love with him. And much more but main comes here that in both anime all protagonist go on trip because of that they come to their true feelings that at the end becomes happy ending. 

In a sense where both series are really simple yet they did quite an amazing job portraying romance in anime. Basically they are pretty similar, if you enjoy golden time you will definitely enjoy Toradora. 

Both shows are great and very similar.In Golden time its a love triangle but the show has a lot more to offer so you should watch it.Characters are are interesting and if you did like Toradora then you will also like Golden time.With similar plot and awesome art you won't regret it 

Toradora may be the GOAT of romantic comedy anime, but I think Golden Time deserves credit for being one of the of the other shows at the pinnacle of the genre. Toradora mainly revolves around high schoolers causing misunderstandings and not being honest with their own feelings towards each other, whereas Golden Time takes a step up and matures the theme with college aged students navigating a social landscape and further developing their relationships with their friends and loved ones. The comedy in Golden Time is more mature and well-developed than in Toradora and the characters are just as charming. If you want a show exactly like Toradora, Golden Time isn't it, but with similar themes, strong characters and compelling storyline involving a couple you oh-so-much want to see together, then Golden Time is for you.  

Same manga author, and again we see an unconventional approach to romance. Like Toradora! Golden Time handles the subject with maturity. It will also tear at your heart like no other. What makes Golden Time even better, imho is that they dispose of the tired format of selfless male lead and tsundere female lead. This time, you get an incredible female that's one-part tsundere, two parts yandere, yet ultimately fits in neither box. Our male lead, meanwhile, is flawed and at times acts selfishly. Having both characters told in such honest fashion makes them unbelievably sympathetic.  

Both Toradora! and Golden Time are romance anime series that follow the lives of high school students as they navigate through complex relationships and emotional struggles. 

Golden Time and Toradora are similar in that they're romantic comedies about the characters in a school setting. Golden Time is in University, Toradora is in high school. Golden Time is about a guy who has amnesia and can't remember his past, he quickly meets his new best friend on the first day of University and quickly realizes his friend is being stalked by a beautiful girl he's trying to avoid like the plague. He can't remember any past relationships and ends up falling for that girl which is convenient for his friend. It tells the story of him remembering his past (and past love interest) versus living his current life with his new one. Toradora! is about a guy who is seen as a delinquent due to his eyes, the way he looks. People are originally quite scared of him due to his appearance. He meets a girl who people are also afraid of due to her being violent, they both have something in common in that they are the best friend of each others love interests. They both come from broken families and have a lot in common but are effected completely differently by it. The main protagonist is actually quite independent and cooks, cleans, and is mostly calm while the crazy girl named "Taiga" is a train wreck and can't even put trash in the right bins let alone survive on her own without his help. It tells the story of how they try and aid each other in gaining the love of the people they desire.

These series are really similar to each other. The storyline has some common points. Kaga and Taiga are both a bit crazy, rich and popular, and even have close appearance. Linda and Minori have the same personalities and role. Both anime's heroes have nature that develops over time. Atmosphere is that what makes these so similar, they both have funny moments, a bunch of dramatic, and the overall tempo is alike too. For me, Golden Time is a masterpiece, and I personally prefer this one over Toradora, but i like both. 

The story of Golden Time involves a lot of drama and emotions and it takes quite a bit to understand the characters and the choices they make. There's a lot of romantic development and self realization which is why I recommend Golden Time if you like Toradora 

Same company. While both are actually pretty different, I feel they complement each other to tell one bigger story. They may seem different in many ways, they get to your emotions and have similar storylines. One focuses on before a relationship and the struggles it causes. Golden Time is after and shows the struggles of maintaining a relationship. They both have their moments and are such a joy to watch. Their side characters are amazing and you will feel good at the end! 

I'm gonna be honest, the first thing that hooked me was the similarities between Taiga and Kouko (the two female protagonist). But after 2 or so episodes I was unable to stop my self from watching Golden Time. Unlike Toradora, Golden Time carry some intense backstories which I'm not gonna spoil for anyone. If you are going to watch Golden Time then the best way for that is to watch without knowing anything about it. In any case, if you like Toradora and are looking for something with same vibe I highly recommend Golden TIme. 

Both of these shows were made by the same person, and they are both good animes that focus solely on romance and friendships. There are lots of side romances and romance options for the characters. Both of the main female characters act a little similarly but there's obvious and major differences between them. Both animes also focus on character development. 

The overall feel, emotionality of the characters, art design, and slice of life makes Toradora a good choice for those who have seen Golden Time and vice versa. 

I will be honest. Both of these titles can be very insufferable when you take into consideration how annoying some of these characters are. But aside from such, Toradora and Golden Time are great dramas about a somewhat unique way of looking at romance anime. We have here protagonists with a relationship that gets slowly diverted into the obvious ending relationship. What are moments of love, sadness, and all the rest of it in the absurd array of emotions? Golden Time and Toradora still manage to pull off a story—enough to take seriously—that would keep you from ripping your hair out due to idiotic main characters who don't know how to behave like humans. Well, I suppose that is the effect of being in love. Good rom-coms, long enough to keep you satisfied whilst actually seeing romantic progress exist. Made by the same original creator Takemiya Yuyuko. Both are brought to you by the same studio J.C.Staff.   

Koko and Taiga are very similar - overly bossy and controlling while violent and aggressive only toward the person they like. With Golden Time though, it's set in university, and Tada Banri makes a massive difference to the story 

Both Golden Time and Toradora feature 24+ episodes that revolve around a similar Rom-Com type theme. I HIGHLY suggest watching either anime if you want to experience a whirlpool of emotions. Lastly either anime was produced by J.C.Staff, so they're similar in pacing, art style, and the many other aspects that go into creating an anime. 

Both series are very good romcoms. They are also made by the same people. So its highly likely that if you enjoyed one you will surely enjoy the other. 

It's a well known fact that both of these series share the same author, so similarities are bound to be there. Whereas in Toradora we have our main cast in high school setting, in Golden time it's a bit out of usual if I say, an university setting. As for our main pair, things will be a bit rowdy in the beginning courtesy to the main female lead, but will develop bit by bit as the series progresses. So yeah if looking for a high school drama with a well versed comedy, go for Toradora or if looking for a change, go out for Golden time.

Made by same creator, although the setting is different the ideas presented are structured differently, this one is in a college setting as opposed to high school and is really really enjoyable.  

golden time was made by the same author of toradora (and both stories aren't too far off from each other) so if you liked one i'd say you'd like the other. while kaga kouko isn't necessarily a "tsundere", golden time definitely has the drama and romance elements you loved from toradora. both shows are 24 episodes long so you'll really get to know and appreciate the characters in much more depth.  

Both are romantic-comedy series involving a guy who takes care of a girl who goes to the same school as them. While the girl in Toradora is more aggressive in personality, and the girl in Sakurasou is a quiet type, both shows have a set of cast with personalities that stands out. While it's mostly romance-comedy, both also have a good portion of drama. Additionally, both shows are made by the same studio, which gives them a similar atmosphere.

First of all, both series involves J.C. Staff. But beyond that, there are some other similarities present in both series. Toradora and Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo both has a main female protagonist who is peculiar and not the typical girl you'll meet in every day life. In fact, their personalities makes the main male protagonist feel a bit uneasy. But despite this, they get along better later on as the main male protagonist begins to take care of the girl. Both series also has other characters involved with the two main characters in a variety of ways - comedic, dramatic, emotional, and romance. Both series are lighthearted and takes place at school life setting.  

As each of these shows pull you along the story of normal school kids going through out there school years, they showcase a great mixture of drama and humour with an interesting and unique story line. These shows do a great job of making you genuinely care about what the characters are going through and what will happen to them next as you feel that you can relate to their situation.  

Both are top-notch romcoms that deliver much, much more than your standard romance. Toradora! speaks a lot about family, while Sakurasou talks about friendship and talent. 

Nowadays, it's really tough to find a romance anime that isn't some harem piece of crap however, both Toaradora and Sakurasou somehow manage to make the stereotypical School Life anime genre and make it into something interesting. Basically, if you want to watch a School Life, lighthearted and entertaining anime then you should check out these two series. 

Both of these series follow the curvature of romance & comedy. Toradora focuses more on the interpersonal relationships between characters, while Sakurasou delves into personal purpose. There were many times while watching one, that reminded me of the other.  

From the studio that brought you the action series "Index", comes around a romantic comedy series, with a love develop, wacky situations. The story is basically around the main characters who just wanted to enjoy themselves for their lives, until someone usually got in their way, sparking an interest in them. You might find that it is lighthearted at first, but it will really shines when the drama spike things up in later episodes. There is not much of a difference which is a romantic comedy. Though, in Toradora, it follows a delinquant boy and a tsundere girl. In Sakurasou, it is somewhat a love triangle, and follows a boy who needs to take care of a girl who is a manga artist.  

Bot animes are about the male protagonist being a sort of delinquent and refusing to do what the school wants. They both love one person but in the way of it is misunderstandings between both MC's having to take care of the female MC. Both animes are great slice of life animes with just the right amount of comedy and romance, but they both have their own little twist to it. 

These two anime are romantic comedy, yet have some drama in its splice of life genre. The protagonists are very well alike in some sorts, having their daily life problems solve with by understanding each other and enjoying school life as much as possible. Each story revolves around the school (where most of the scene is) and every episode is a surprise that will make you stick to it. 

Both are Rom Coms, but at the same time, can also be seen as sort of coming of age story with emphasis on relationships, in both the romantic, as well as the platonic sense. Both shows are from the point of view of a male MC who is unsatisfied with the status quo, and in each case, they are surrounded by energetic, likeable characters who breathe life into each scene that they're present. Also both shows were animated by J.C. Staff, and in both cases they're visually stunning.  

Unlike Toradora!, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou) explores many themes such success, failure, raw talent vs hard work.. aside from the romance, comedy, and friendship.  

I believe both anime have almost identical vibes to them. These two titles are high-school romantic comedies, and their casts are very similar at times. Both anime end on an open note (more emphasis on this point to Sakurasou rather than Toradora!) which leaves room for a second season. They are both done by J.C staff, and finally, the male protagonist has to choose between two (or perhaps more, depending how you look at it) very different girls; and eventually has to decide who he truly loves. 

Both amazing Romantic Comedies about a group of friends who have pretty unique backgrounds. The character development in these shows were fantastic and I felt for them when they were down. Both of these shows are just shows that made me smile, cry, and have fun. 

In Toradora!, Aisaka has a crush on Takasu's best friend and vice versa. They plan to help each other provided they help each other get closer to their each of their love interests. Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo has a more subdued approach on the topic of romance but both have a complex love arrangement making it interesting to see what the final outcome of the relationships are going to be. They also have a very similar pacing pattern making it feel like that you have watched the other show again but with a different setting. If you liked the comedy that comes out of the complications of romance in Toradora!, then you will also like Sakurasou no Pet no Kanojo.   

A lighthearted yet sometimes dramatic slice of life romance that spreads out over a group of friends. Both are really well done and belong into the Tier 1 of slice of life romance with comedic and dramatic elements. 

Sakurasou and Toradora! both have the great stories and great characters. But instead of trying to find love like Sakurasou did, Toradora shows you how people help eachother fall in love, with opposite effects. I think that both these animes are great and connect with eachother one way or another because their just that good and love is funny, right?! 

If you have watched Toradora, you'll probably like Sakurasou. Both of them are great examples of how a romcom with a taste of drama has to be done, with an amazing soundtrack which totally fits at every moment. The style of drawing is also smooth and you'll fall in love with all the characters. 

-Both feature similar setting and tone as well as similar tone shifts -Both involve the female lead being almost completely dependent on the male lead to a ridiculous degree, allowing comedy to ensue -Both stand out from average high school romance by being centered around not just the main pair but instead a group of friends and their love interests. This works double as it helps the characters all feel more realistic while also allowing meaningful relationship struggles on the side to be explored to further increase the chances of overlapping with an experience of their audience 

Both have the same amount of comedy to balance out the amount of heart wrenching scenes to make you cry with these characters who individually have to go through something different but end up overcoming those obstacles in order to fulfill they're dream. They both have that one character who always seems energetic and happy no matter what, but is only wearing that mask to keep everyone else happy, the character who doesn't seem to care about anything but just doesn't want to be hurt like they were in the past, and the character who's family matters at home prevent them from being happy.

SPOILER ;-; Both are slice of life and romcom series. Also, both principal female characters fall in love with the MC. 

*Both Toradora! and Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo MC are taking care of girl who live near them *Toradora! are about family ,meanwhile Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo are about friendships and talent. *Both stories are the best! 

They both have stellar comedy early in the show, followed by an effective melodramatic love story. Also included are multiple best girls and an overall strong cast. 

(MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS) The storyline is not so similar to each other, but come on, the two animes have a group of characters and during the passing of the story, characters from this group begin to romantically like each other, the two animes has a relatively good comedy, both animations and designs are well made, the characters are very charismatic and lovely, they are great animes that every lover of romance and high school life should watch.  

The main topic of these anime is love between high-schoolers. But Toradora is also about problems with family while Sakurasou deals with growing up and trying to find stability in life. 

They feel the same but at the same time I prefer Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo because you can get more attached to a character

The story isn't that close to sakura-sou, however, both anime are both romcom classics which paved the wave for modern anime. Even if they aren't in general all that similar, they are a MUST for every single romcom enjoyer. 

A slice of life, romantic comedy with characters just as compelling as Toradora's. While Sakurasou does not feature a tsundere, it does have the same heartwarming depth to its story, and is even more relatable at times. 

The characters seem very similar (like misaki and minori), and the dynamic between the two main characters (taiga and ryuji, and sorata and mashiro) are also very similar initially. Toradora does go for a deeper route, however, while pet girl of sakurasou is more slice of life 

Both have great drama, although sakurasou is better in that department, and a love triangle 

I highly recommend watching this after Toradora! Same studio, same vibes. A cast of lovely characters you will miss at the end of the show. Misaki reminded me a lot of Minori Kushieda, and it gave me a feeling of peace seeing her get the love she deserved. The first episodes has some fanservice scenes, but the rest of the show has none of it. It's a safe watch :) 

Also a great romance, filled up with many funny scenes that will make you smile, but at the same time it's serious when it needs to.  

They take place in a Highschool setting, the main male has good friends, and later on a love interest. And the biggest point is they both make you feel sad bruh. 

Both anime features a female character who is not capable of doing daily chores and relies heavily on the male character to help complete such tasks. In my opinion, Sakurasou and Toradora are one of the best high school rom-com I have ever seen. If you love high school rom-com I will strongly recommend giving these 2 a watch!  

The character development and the drama are pretty similar quality in these two shows. When I watch one, I think of watching the other. Both are excellent series but not for the weak of heart. 

The storyline is kind of the same.. one guy, a best friend and a lot of girls, they all like him. The story starts as a normal high school life with a little slice of komedie but after a few episodes it turnes out to be a drama. The only thing that is'nt similiar is the fact that they used a little bit of magic in Clannad and in Toradora! the only piece of magic i found is the magic between the two main characters. ^^ 

Both guys surrounded by some girls but one girl is the main one. And it's not like those other harems where all the girls are not proportioned correctly.. Everyone has nice characters. Also has it's sad moments in Toradora but Cllannad is obviously more sad. 

This is a story about a girl in high school who has happy times, sad times, romance, and even manages to make lots of friends. Which anime am I talking about? Prepare for an amazing slice of life trip. 

Both anime are fantastic romance drams set in a similar environment. In both stories, the protagonists try to help the other lead's wishes come true. 

they both have similar story lines in terms of boy meets girl and both show a relationship develop over time. ha there could quite literally be an after story of Toradora, that is if they ever decided to make one. 

I can't stress how much I loved both these series. Evoking a diversity of emotions (among them, laughs, hearty smiles, tears, and "aww moments" from cuteness), these unforgettable romantic comedies are the archetypes of their genre. If you enjoyed one, you will most definitely enjoy the other (although I was initially hesitant to try Clannad since it is more "drama heavy", Toradora had its tear jerker moments as well). Enjoy! Both of these shows feature a main guy character who is unhappy with his lot in life and misjudged by the world aroud him who decides to take care of a girl who seems to be his polar opposite. Although Taiga and Nagisa are very different characters, they both welcome the assistance of their male counterparts and become stronger because of their friendship with him. They are both slice of life style animes that show friends dealing with the problems of everyday life, and just enjoying high school. Both shows are incredible and should be watched by everyone. 

Both have an intresting story, nice atmosphere and really likable characters. Although have completely different plot still both can make you smile and cheer for the characters to be together. Also both really heartwarming and have some good drama 

Both value development of characters and interactions between characters. Toradora is more centered around romance than Clannad. Both are very cute and had cry moments. 

Both are entry level romance shows that are widely liked. They share similar settings. They both focus on the issues of school life and school life relationships. Basically if you like one, you'll most likely like the other. 

Both of these shows posses a strong romance element and are done in a great way. If you have just finished clannad and want to see something just as special than toradora is the show for you(vise versa). 

Clannad similar with Torodora's main character's efforts to help some girls in his class. Almost same can be seen in Clannad too. Tomoya's relation with the girls around him based on girls' some requirements  

Both shows involve a great deal of romance. It is a developing romance that takes a couple episodes to get a "hint". Clannad and Toradora are both about High School students. If you like romance, comedy, and a good love story overall, then Toradora and Clannad is right for you. (Clannad has an afterstory series) Best of luck! 

- Both are excellent romantic comedies that start of with a strong comedic element before focusing on the romance/drama. - Both have extremely funny and sad moments, so if you liked one you're sure to like the other. - Both animes are excellent love stories that devlop the main characters throughly, devling into their family life, school life, and love life; showing them how much they need each other without them knowing it. - Both animes offer a good amount of comedy as well and a great group of characters for the supporting cast. Clannad is definitely a little more serious than Toradora!  

These two anime are both set in a school where the main character meets a girl and ends up helping her with a problem she has. If you enjoy watching slice of life series that have some romance and drama in them, you might enjoy them both. 

It shares the same lovable characters, humor, and heartwarming/breaking moments and helps fill that post-Clannad void we all go through. 

Both shows deal with romance(obviously), but approach them with care, passion, and with considerable detail. Both deal with family issues, between Taiga and her dad never being around, and Okazaki and his once abusive father turned drunkard, though these issues are NOT the same, both leave these two different characters bitter and resentful because of that. Both shows have lives changed for the better, they explore the lives of people they've introduced to the audience, and get you invested and also get you to feel like you're part of the group. Clannad is by far my favorite anime of all time, and nothing has really come close to being similar enough with the relationships and how far the story takes it, or the show ends after they get together. So I thought I'd need two recommendations to cover this anime. Lastly, both shows will leave your heart feeling melancholic after you finish watching them. Or at least it did mine.  

Both Toradora and Clannad are romance series with a school setting. Both series also tackle the issue of family problems, with Tomoya and his father in Clannad, and Taiga and her family in Toradora. They both feature a heart-wrenching tale of love and loss (though Clannad targets this more in After Story). Both series also sends the message of enjoying the years that you have in high school, as this short amount of time can create many memories that can last forever. 

Clannad and Toradora both take place in a high school setting and involve a very colourful cast of characters, making either of them very likable if you are in to a setting that has a nice mix of Slice of Life, Comedy and Drama. The plot for both is similar, and both are executed perfectly, with both being driven in basically the same direction for most of the time. Both have hardships with family and friends, very complicated romance, and little to no fanservice, making the viewing experience a lot more driven on story and plot than anything. Personally, I absolutely LOVE both of these series, and I wish there were more anime like both of them.

Clannad and Toradora both are very good romance anime. I enjoyed both of them a lot. clanna and Toradora both teaches you how love is extremely complicated. Sometimes, too complicated. 

Both are romantic, and also sad. Also similar in episode count (24 and 25) 

After looking for a while for an anime similar to Toradora! I came across Clannad multiple times. After watching it, I can now positively say that they are very similar at being amazing romantic comedy animes that will toy with your emotions. So if you liked one of them I can guarantee that you will like the other. 

Misinterpreted coming together. Toradora and Clannad follow MCs who are somewhat unconventional joining together in what is the most dramatic experience anime offers. With Clannad following a misplaced Nagisa and delinquent Tomoya, Toradora follows misunderstood Ryuuji and aggressive Taiga. Both anime's MCs then go down helping out one another for their personal interests, forming a relationship on the way. Both are great rom-com drama focusing on one's true feelings on others.  

Male main characters seen negatively by everyone else meet a girl one day, and their lives begin to change. Toradora! and Clannad are two slice of life highschool romances with a lot of comedy, and the capacity to make your heart hurt. People who like romcoms dramas will absolutely enjoy these two anime. 

Both animes are love-based. Both animes are set in school. Both animes main characters have shit dads.  

Like Clannad, Toradora has many dramatic and emotional scenes that'll make a viewer teary-eyed since both highlight familial relationships and love to a great extent. Both series are nicely animated and contain a remarkable soundtrack. If one enjoyed Clannad, then Toradora is worth watching.  

Both animes feature a male and female protagonist that become friends because both are shunned by classmates. They form a tightly-knit group of friends, and they never thought they would like each other. In Chuunibyou Yuuta doesn't consider liking Rikka, and in Toradora Ryuuji and Taiga mutually have feelings for another person. But in both animes the kindness of the boy begins to win the girl over. Both stories are about finding love where you least expect it; heartwarming, cute and funny; both are must sees. 

The main female character in each is very similar. They're both school setting romances but very different from the standard storyline, both have a significant comedy element but are totally adorable too. Toradorable* :p 

A possible harem and an uncontrollable girl whose love is a more "normal" boy. The two series contain romance, and almost like how Taiga is a fierce girl who becomes a little too much to handle at times, Rikka (Chuunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai!) is and airhead whose 8th Grader Syndrome takes control. They both contain very little drama, and have comedy and romance, but perhaps not quite enough to know it'll be true forever.  

The characters and some of the plot progression elements are quite similar. Both shows have two mains with a problem, and one of them is trying to ditch that problem. Also, Nibutani is very, very similar to Ami 

The plot and characters seem very similar to me, although a totally different story. 

Both have a similar kind of atmosphere and feel. Taiga and Rikka have both detached themselves from the real world in some way and in both it is up to the main character to reintroduce them to it and to basically make them appreciate life. Both follow a similar story arc as well as having a similar style of humor although Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai touched me more with its overall message.  

Well first off they are both overall insanely great animes. Both series include the protagonists of two young girls that slowly fall in love with a guy that they meet at school which is coincidentally their next door neighbors Lmao. Both dramatic and very fun animes to watch. 

Both are really good romances that firstly are only friends ( or dogs in Toradora xD ) but when the history advances they fall in love between each other 

So you enjoyed Toradora! but would like to have another quality slice of life/romance anime to watch? Well Chuunibyou should be for you! It's yet another heavily character driven story full of twists and turns which leaves you wanting more. The premise is even more original than the likes of Toradora! and it's just as well paced and easy to follow. You will laugh, you will cry and you will experience a whole other side of the genre. A must watch for fans of Toradora! (just make sure you watch the subbed version as major alterations were made in the dub which arguably ruin the appeal of the show). Enjoy! :)  

While they both fall into the romance genre, they set aside just as much room for comedy too. It also helps that they are teen rom/coms that take place in high school.  

They both have very different reasoning and story behind them but what I see in common is the way the characters grow together throughout the series. Character development is definitely the reason these shows both are my favorites. 

Both Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! and Toradora! have a romantic plotline and share similarities in their character development and comedy elements. 

Are two good romance anime, both pass in Hight school( i think) and are innocent love of two student. 

Both are romantic comedies that are enjoyable to watch. Both series have running gags (show specific jokes) that make it worthwhile. And finally, both shows explore romance through many characters very well 

They're almost the same series- very similar characters who have very similar relationships, similar circumstances, and both amazing series! If you liked Toradora! you'll like Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shita!  

Hate blooming into positivity. Toradora and Chuunibyou present MCs who have a disliking to their peers out of natural reaction, though, as time moves forward, the peers being to understand one another forming a more positive relationship. Where Chuunibyou is about Yuuta's escape and fresh life devoid of chuunibyou behaviour, only to be thrown back at him by Rikka. Toradora uses Taiga and Ryuuji in the hateful relationship so that the two can get with their respective crushes. Both use a bad base to start a relationship, only for it to snowball gradually into a positive one. Both are great rom-coms all in a school setting about dealing with the things you hate embodied in peers.  

Both animes are romantic comedies with drama that makes you feel emotion for the characters involved. Not only that, but both are relatable in the realm of love that viewers may enjoy. 

Both animes have similar stories, like the fact that the two main characters start with a friendship, but at the end of the anime declare themselves to each other in a loving relationship. I will highly recommend the other if you loved watching any of these 2.  

I just needed to recommmend Chuunibyou, If you like romance you'll love it, and if you don't, you'll probably love it as well. Toradora is also a great anime, the comedy isn't always the best but it' still enjoyable and a very good choice to watch.

If you are looking for good highschool romance stories these two are a must to watch! 

Boi and Girl, romance anime. both good, After watching Toradora I felt my first void and chuunibyou filled it in along with your lie in april.  

The characters and plot development between these two animes are very similar, along with them sharing the same kind of vibe. If you enjoyed watching Toradora, you will definitely enjoy watching Chuunibyou as well. 

The characters are very similar and the backstory of them are almost the same. Moreover some twists in the main story are the same. They are both very cute romance/comedy anime you should watch. If you like Toradora, you will like Chuni too. For me it was the case. And when you are finished with both seasons, then watch the sequel film "Take on me". It makes more sense and it is a better ending for the whole story than in season 2.

Romantic comedies - Nisekoi and Toradora define them with a main male protagonist trying to get attention of a girl they have set their eyes on. Unfortunately, circumstances often gets in their way. On the other hand, the main male protagonist gets into an unlikely alliance/relationship with another girl who has her own interests. There is plenty of drama, comedy, and romance offered in both series. Perhaps the most prominent feature involves relationships the main male protagonist forms with others throughout the series.  

Similarities / Differences - Lead characters have almost same personality - Both animes have great humor - Awesome lovable characters - Great Endings Differences - Nisekoi is slightly towards more on comedy - You have to read the Nisekoi manga to finish story - Its Harem 

Main characters have a similar start, by becoming acquainted, in Toradora they get close to help each other with their crushes, in Nisekoi they are faking a relationship without really knowing each other and in both they become more friendly and their feelings change later on in the story. The main characters in both series have similar personalities.

Both are romantic comedies with the main characters in similar positions; coming from families that may give off a sense of fear to fellow classmates. Nevertheless, Nisekoi is also full of hilarious moments, loveable and similar characters, and lots of romance drama!

Raku and Ryuuji has similarities with their personalities, and Chitoge and Taiga as well. Basically, both anime series are great, and both have romance and whole lots of comedy.

These shows have a lot of similarities. The characters and the story are pretty much the same, also they are pretty much cliche. Toradora being more dramatic and you have way more feels, whereas Nisekoi focuses more on the comedy. If you liked one of these shows you'll probably like the other. 

This show follows pretty much the same dynamic as Toradora, two main characters forced to hang out with each other but ultimately fall in love with eachother. The animation style is pretty much the same and it kinda follows the same story and dialog than in Toradora. 

They are both about blue haired guys that can cook and have always crushed on certain girls but then they encounter tsunderes which they forge an alliance with. Both also have girls that have a thing for the main character, but you aren't really led to believe have a chance with him, and so are kind of just there to mix things up a bit. They also are similar in the fact that the main characters and tsunderes are shipped right from the start, but there isn't really any tension there, but then things change somewhat eventually. 

As you watch the shows the similarities become blatantly apparent, and in a very good way. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed both shows, however, in my opinion, Toradora is still better. If you are looking for a show to fill the empty void Toradora left in your soul then Nisekoi should do the job. Both shows have Tsundere Main characters. Both shows have beautiful art/animation styles. Both shows have great characters and chemistry between characters. Both shows have great dialogue. However, Toradora has a dub and Nisekoi does not. Toradora actually finishes its story and Nisekoi does not (you have to read the manga). Also, Nisekoi slightly focuses more on Comedy than Romance it isn't a bad thing, and although it's more into Comedy than Romance it's only very slightly, there are still more than enough romance elements in both shows for your entertainment.  

Both shows are romantic comedies that follow the relationships between high school students. In the case of Toradora, it's the romance born of two students helping to form one another's desired relationship; for Nisekoi, a relationship used to bond rival organisations, which grows to a more endearing bond. While the characters borrow VERY similar character tropes (a wealthy, blond-haired tsundere and a short-haired son of a criminal with an affinity for cooking and cleaning), each and every character for both respective shows stand out. The shows help to differentiate from one another through a tighter focus on either of two aspects: romance or comedy. Toradora favors the former, preferring to tell a more heartfelt story between two delightful main characters; Nisekoi chooses the latter, using expressive animation and a larger colorful cast to better bring out the laughter. Not to say that they lose focus.  

Well both of them are Romantic Comedy revolving around a guy character with two heroines plus an another girl. Well both are good and didn't sexualized the character that much. 

If you liked the characters from one of these 2 shows then you will like the other one. The core characters in both anime are really similar in personality and the role they play. The story also has bit similar taste.  

These 2 animes are good romcoms that involve a male being forced to form a partnership of some sort with a female tsundere. The characters themselves are also very alike. Raku & Ryuuji, Onodera & Minori, Chitoge & Taiga, and Tachibana & Kawashima. 

Maybe it's just me, but the feeling I had watching Toradora! in 2020, was something like the same feeling I had while watching Nisekoi in 2015, a pure and happy feeling, something like nostalgia and freedom maybe? I can't explain, but I think that if you liked Nisekoi, you'll (mostly) like Toradora! 

They both have a amle lead who spend most of their time with a girl who isn't their crush. The female leads are both tsunderes. The main difference is that while Toradora! develops into a romance drama, Nisekoi: False Love remains a pure romance comedy, and becomes a harem. 

Pretty much the same sort of relationship you'd fine between the characters and i genuinely like the characters from Nisekoi better. The romance Nisekoi is also a lot faster than in Toradora  

Both animes have pretty similar main characters. Tsundere girl, that at the beginning hates male MC, but as the story progresses she develops romantic feelings for him. There is also a kind of harem in both Toradora! and Nisekoi. Minori can be compared to Onodera (the main character likes her and she also has feelings for him but is too shy(?) to confess). Ami is like Tsugumi and Marika, she develops romantic feelings toward MC, however without return. Both animes are really enjoyable and have many comedy scenes. Both animes have a wholesome ending, however, you need to read the manga to get the ending of Nisekoi (I'm still not over it why we didn't get a 3rd season!). The overall vibe is almost the same, you can feel it after a few first episodes of Nisekoi.  

Both feature a tsundere female character and a friendly male character who appears to hate each other but slowly fall for each other when they spend more time with each other.  

chitoge, the main female lead in nisekoi, also has similar personality traits (tsundere wise) as taiga from toradora. while nisekoi is more of a romance, harem show (toradora being drama, romance), if you really enjoy tsundere characters, nisekoi is also another great show to watch if you loved toradora. there is also another underrated tsundere character later in the season for nisekoi so keep an eye out for that!

If you enjoyed the relationship between Shana and Yuuji in Shakugan no Shana, but were disappointed with the development and treatment of that relationship, Toradora! is what you're looking for! Toradora! does relationship development right: the characters are actually aware of the changes occuring in their feelings and relationships, events that happen in one episode still mean something in later episodes, and the emotional moments are dramatic and powerful. Where Shakugan no Shana had potential, Toradora! comes through. This is tsundere romance at its best. 

Good Stuff!!! Very good stuff! Non Dopamine addictive substance; Gets you hooked!! The lead female characters are similare and the male characters too kinda!! and the relationship development/ set up give the same feel. These are highly recomended! 

Rie Kugimiya is the voice actress for both Taiga && Shana, and both characters are very alike. They are both romance && school life types of anime. 

The relation between the characters might turn out the same :) And also the seiyuu of Taiga is the same person as Shana's . 

Similar female protagonists, same seiyuu. Both have romance, while Toradora! has more comedy and Shakugan no Shana has more magic. Awesome shows! 

I would say Shana and Taiga are the same kind of girl who looks pissed off all the time, but once they open their hearts to people they start to realize how soft and cute they can be. So if you just can't get enough from that type of girl, here you go my friend.

Both of the main characters share a very similar relationship for most of the series. However, Shakugan no Shana contains combat, whereas Toradora! does not. 

The main female characters of the anime Taiga (Toradora!) and Shana (Shakugan no Shana) are voiced by Kugimiya Rie. They are both long-haired tsundere who like to hit the male character they are close to and eventually fall in love with. While Shana uses her sword Nietono no Shana for battles, Taiga uses a wooden sword to hit Ryuuji once. The names of the male protagonists of both anime are also similar: Ryuuji (Toradora!) and Yuuji (Shakugan no Shana). 

Two words: Kugimiya Rie :D On a more serious note, both are romantic comedies with similar main characters only Toradora offers a less fantasy and more slice of school life style. Well worth the watch. 

The main female leads Shana from Shakugan no Shana and Taiga from Toradora were voiced by the same Japanese voice actress (Rie Kugimiya) and have similar character traits. Toradora and Shakugan no Shana are both romantic comedies and for the most part are centered around a male lead and a strong somewhat tsundere female lead (Tiaga *definitely* is) supported by a fairly small group of other characters. Even though Shakugan no Shana is a more combat oriented anime than Toradora, the major difference between the two is for the most part, where and toward whom the inevitable violence is directed. :) In both anime series, the female lead gradually shifts from a more combative somewhat distant personality toward a much more caring affectionate one, at least when it comes to the male lead.  

Although the plot are really different the characters are ver similar to each other. MUST WATCH!!!  

Some of the characters are very similar! For example, the two main characters of Toradora and Shakugan no Shana, Taiga and Shana, are so similar that sometimes I forget that they are two individual characters! Kitamura and Ike are both very similar in character and looks, and I even see similarities in Ami and Margery Daw. Shakugan no Shana has more action, but they both have love and Comedy. If you enjoyed Toradora, you will probably enjoy Shana, as well!  

Both feature chibi tsundere female characters (Taiga and Shana) and more serious, down-to-earth male characters who play the "straight man" in a slightly slapstick comedy. Both have romantic plotlines and are considered slice-of-life in genre. Most important, both are very funny and are about the same length. 

They are both similar in a couple of main points: 1) Both of the main characters are tsundere towards the boy that they like. 2) The same person does the voice for Taiga and Shana. 3) The boys' names are super close to identical (Yuji and Ryuji, anyone?). 4) It just has a similar FEEL between the two (in terms of character development and interaction). However, the plot is totally different between the two, so if you weren't going for the characters' behavior/the romance, then Toradora! isn't for you because it has no fantasy-fighting scenes. 

Shana and Taiga both are voiced by the same VA. Both main female characters love saying "Shut up!" and are tsundere. 

Shakugan no Shana, Zero no Tsukaima, Hidan no Aria, and Toradora are exactly the same. character wise. Louise, Shana, Aria, and Taiga are all girls with a petite figure but are set on making the male protagonist, Saito, Yuji, Kinji, and Ryuji their 'slave'. Hidan no Aria and Shakugan no Shana both involve fighting and missions. Toradora and Zero no Tsukaima both are more focused on school life and shoujo. However, I am sure, you will find that ALL of them are the same because of the protagonist, and all four anime are INCREDIBLY AMAZING. 

Shows in which the main female leads are petite, flat-chested tsundere, both of which voiced by Kugimiya Rie. There are plenty of romance in both stories. SnS is a fantasy action story, while Toradora is geared toward school slice-of-life drama. 

for all tsundere lover out there...these will surely hook your interest...both have great storyline...specially with genre of romance...by the way, both female protagonist has the same voice actor...they're both great although their stories do not abide 

Man, J.C. Staff seems to have mastered the tsundere. Zero no Tsukaima and Shakugan no Shana have almost literally the same character in Zero/Shana, all the way down to seiyū Kugimiya Rie. If you want more of Zero, you'll find a lot of her in Shana. And if you like that, give Toradora! a shot. The love story is a bit more rewarding in Toradora! All three have the same tsundere and the same actress plays her. 

High school dude suddenly encounters a loli tsundere who eventually falls in love with the dude. Both take place in a high school and feature love triangles (yay) 

MC's are very similar in both shows. Both shows have a lot of drama.  

Both main characters are tsunderes plus they look and act very similar! Ookami can be seen as an older Taiga =p 

Both anime are pretty much slice of life, somewhat comedic, high-school setting, tsundere romance.

The both anime's art are also extremely cute and while Toradora is based upon legend, Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi is based upon fairy tales.

The main heroines act, look, and think alike. The "men" of anime both have a completely different personality to what they seem to be on the surface. plus, they are both hilarious and a good show to watch. 

ryoukou and taiga look alike but one is tall and one is short ringo and minori also look the same but short and tall ryoukou has that tsundere type to her sort of just like taiga is tsundere ringo is also there to support ryoukou like minori for taiga they both have great qualities, the animes itself is somewhat different  

Both Ryouko and Ringo have the same sort of relationship as Taiga and Minori, not to mention they look pretty similar too. 

the main female character between these two anime is somewhat similar and both are a tsundere... BUT, ookami (meaning: wolf) is taller than taiga (meaning: tiger)... :)

The two main girl characters in these 2 stories are very similar in looks and personality and they are both tsundere

The only difference between the anime romance-wise is that the guy fell in love with the girl on the 1st episode in Ookami-san, whereas in Toradora; they fell in love with each other part way through the series. 

Basically, i saw in them much familiar things. Of course, they are not he same, cuz Toradora is romantic novel, but Okami is little bit more fighting one. I think, you'll enjoy Okami. 

Aisaka and Ookami are really similar, Tsundere Power! They both are comedy/romance and focus on the main couple.  

The main female characters don't only look alike but have a similar personality. (some sites even claim there it's the same character only grown up). Both have great humor. 

Art is similar. Ryouko looks a little like a taller version of Taiga. 

Both have near to no story at the beginning but develops into one(torradora does a much better job)and Ookami-San has many references to torradora and their are many similar characters. Torradora has alot of romance while Ookami-San has alot of comedy and parities.  

Tsundere wolf girl who's like the taller and cooler Taiga, alongside the gentler and more delicate version of Ryuuji. Ookami Ryouko and Taiga Aisaka both have not-so-happy backstories, as Ryouko suffered an abusive relationship, and Taiga with a hopeless father. Ryoushi (Ookami-san) and Ryuuji are similar as the two are not the best one could possibly be, but are still their for their girls.  

Both series have very similar characters overall, and progress in plot much the same way; focusing on comedy in the beginning before introducing stronger dramatic/romantic elements as the story progress. They both retain their humor along the way, so no worries there! If you're going to just watch one however, please stick with Toradora, as the writing and story-telling is significantly better, plus the pay off at the end is FAR superior.

The way of how the characters deal with another are quite similar and both have an evolving relationship in it 

Both are romantic comedies and slice of life. The main characters are very unusual and the story show us very funny situations (romantic also, don't forget). 

These shows highly imply romance and humor. While Toradora obviously has a slower pace compared to Tonari no Kaibutsukun, both of these shows love in a peculiar way. One of the character is ecstatic while the other one aims for a "normal" life. It doesn't only revolve around the main characters though. The supporting cast also share the spotlight and have their own storyline that may affect the main characters' attitude towards them or even towards themselves. 

-Characters in both series don't have many friends -Shizuku and Haru became friends so they made many friends with other characters, and the same is with Taiga and Ryuuji -Comedy style is very similar 

Although Toradora have a slower pace than Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, they're both humorous and romantic. They're great anime to watch if you're looking for romance. 

Both are great romantic comedies that will surely leave a smile on your face. Toradora has more drama and is the more serious show out of the two.  

Both series are considered romantic comedies that has both of the elements: Romance & comedy. Additionally, both series has a strange female protagonist who falls for the main male protagonist. And speaking of which, both the male protagonist in the series are also strange but has a kinda heart. Both series takes place at a school setting where all the drama takes place. Both series also has some action that is employed in a comedic way. 

Both romance between a delinquent and cold hearted girl 

To me these 2 are similar in a sorta opposite way. In Toradora! Taiga is as adorable as a girl can be, yet she's the most short-tempered person in school, while Ryuuji looks like a yankee(apparently),but is one of the nicest guys you can find,with an extreme passion for cleaning. Meanwhile in Kaibutsu-kun, Haru is the kind looking short-tempered character, while Shizuku is the tough looking(she looks tough to me) girl, but its easily scared and has an extreme passion for studying(though she is a bit cold). Both of the girls are tsunderes. 

Both are romantic comedies with reluctant protagonists and really cute side characters 

Both are great romantic comedies. Toradora! gets more serious at the end but it still bring lots of laughs, even if it's laugh through tears :) Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is opposite, I maen there's more comedy but still it left this heartwarming feeling after you watch it. I recommend to check out both of them :) 

Similar main character feel with the girl but a spectacular show none the less. If you liked Toradora then you should at least give this a shot but really you should love this.  

Toradora was absolutely the sweetest anime's I've ever seen. This anime was the first I saw of its kind. I was more into the action/thriller genre but I am totally converted to the romantic/comedy/slice of life genre. This anime surely made my top 5 list and I love it so much for how sweet and cute it is. I definitely recommend it to those who are looking for an anime of the genre I stated previously. 

-both mc's (Taiga and Shizuku) are temporarily disliked by most of society -both guy mc's (Ryuuji and Haru) have a scary demeanour, but unlike Ryuuji, who just looks like a delinquent, Haru actually gets into fights -high school setting -many friends have feelings for Haru and Shizuku (My Little Monster), and many have had or develop feelings for Aiga and Ryuuji (Toradora)  

-Both are romantic comedies -The MC's are similar (basically no friends at first, but grow as people throughout the show) -The MC's are what would be classed as weird/different/outcasted -There's some sort of love triangle in both Toradora's characters are less direct about their feelings, and Taiga is a classic Tsundere, whereas both of the main characters in My Little Monster are very straightforward and honest about their feelings. Toradora is longer and ends with a firm understanding of the MC's relationship, but My Little Monster leaves things somewhat unfinished. Both are comedic though. If you liked one, you will probably like the other!

Quite similar in terms of playout of events - girl reluctantly falls in love with guy - but has its own unique feel to it! If you liked Toradora, you will LOVE Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun!! 

Love is a long journey with numerous funny and memorable moments. Both anime are about two cute high school couples with totally opposite personality and how they fell in love with each other.  

They're both short school romances with a small tsundere twist! The characters are interesting and engaging and the plot strays from what I would consider cliche. 

Toradora and My Little Monster are both romcoms, but even on top of that they have a lot in common -Both take place in high school and deal with a good student failing for a social delinquent -The male protagonist in both (Ryuuji/Haru) are feared by their classmates for their mean glair -A lot of slapstick and stupid comedy -Both male protagonist have a bird (chicken/parrot) as a pet -In both series the protagonist have estranged family members -similar animation/color pallets for both In short Toradora and My Little Monster are pretty similar. If you liked one you might like the other.  

-Both feature an unlikely couple coming to realize they love each other over time -Both point out how special the memories you make in high school are through exemplifying little moments, and have colorful (in Horimiya's case, literally) casts of characters that draw you in to their illusion of youth -Both have similar lead female characters with similar comedic beats, though Toradora is exaggerated far more 

Both titles are a combination of the two main characters. Both are High School romances In Horimiya they show each other a side they wouldnt show others and people get confused why they started getting closer, In Toradora the main characters recieve prejudice based on their looks and how they seem on the surface and once again their classmates get confused on why they started getting closer. Both these shows share a similar dynamic between the main couples. 

Remember when you had your first crush? Remember what it felt like? These two shows will make you feel like that. Horimiya originally aired as a web comic in 2007, while the first Toradora Novel was released in 2006. Maybe this is while they feel so similar as they are both romantic slice of life anime written at similar times, as evidenced by the prevalence of dorky flip phones in both series. Watching Horimiya takes me back to a magical time in my life when I was first discovering anime and Toradora was one of the first anime I watched. As for the similarities, both are excellently written high school romantic dramas with lovable characters that play off of each other really well. The jokes are funny, and the romance is exciting.   

Both rom-com, both focusing on two high school students with a very different and distinct personality, both funny and more or less similar sense of humour. 

Both series have a very similar feel but slightly different passing in the main character development if you have watched either and liked it you will have a great time with the other one 

Both shows are slice of life romance anime set in a high school. The main girl in both shows is a tsundere, which is more apparent in Toradora, and she shows a side of herself to the main guy that she doesn't want to/let anyone else see. Both shows are more character-driven rather than plot-driven and are both, overall, just a good time. 

Really similar animes in terms of plot, especially at the beginning. Hori and Taiga both have somewhat unstable personalities. HOWEVER Unless you really enjoy the genre - i wouldn't reccomend you to watch Horimiya after Toradora. Horimiya feels more like a weak, more robotic (with artificial emotions) copy. Watching Toradora AFTER Horimiya - that is much better idea 

Both are good romcom animes with less misunderstandings  

Two slice of life, comedy, romance anime with a nice cast of characters. Both are very standard slice of life anime, so if you want something different, this is the wrong place, but both anime do a the best job at being a standard slice of life anime. 

Both of these Animes are Romance/Slice of life genres. They are sweet and heart warming when watching and focus on the small details which make the two lovers entwined with each other. 

Both have got a silly vibe about it, with adorable characters too. Though funny most of the time, I think there are still heart-heavy moments and that's why I love both of them. 

Both involve school and the characters in their day to day life. Both very wholesome, chill anime to watch :) 

Both are heartwarming light romcom type anime, showcasing characters in their day to day life. Both mc often are viewed as something they are not, either based on how they look or what they seem on the surface. Both mc has a side they show where people outside their comfort zone normally wouldn't get to experience or see (Or that people normally wouldn't expect) 

They're both funny romance animes where you will roll over laughing and waiting for the next episode. Both don't have too much romance but just enough to pull at your heart. 

They're the same anime, but honestly, I'm not even mad, they're both great. 

Both series feature a group of friends navigating their complex romantic and platonic feelings for each other. 

Both are about a guy and girl who are nothing alike and become best friends and something more..i think you'll love these both..  

slice of life/romance littered with lovable friends and cute art 

Both are comedy, romance and slice of life and both are happening in high school. Main characters act in similar ways. 

It has the same Romance and characters that aren't how they seem on the outside that toradora has but has its own unique versions of it that's why I recommend it if you liked toradora. 

Both are easy watching, girly rom-coms that are about a guy and girl who are polar opposites and become best friends...and maybe more. You'll have to watch both to see and find out! 

Just in general, the atmosphere of Oregairu feels similar to Toradora!. Both male main characters (Ryuuji Takasu in Toradora! and Hachiman Hikigaya in Oregairu) have those "hostile eyes" which makes people think that they are criminal; which they aren't. They are insecure and gets help from friends with their social problems. All the characters in both shows seem like they belong either. The art is also something that they have in common. 

The main male protagonist definitely has a strange look on his face in both series. But beyond that, they also have a strange relationship/interactions with the main female protagonist of the series. Both Toradora! and Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. takes place in a school life setting where youth experiences the life of drama and love. At the same time, there's also joy and fun for the main characters - some taken less so more than others. Both series also makes usage of humorous dialogues in a lighthearted setting.  

The two shows include their main male characters as an outcast that is forced by the story to possibly end up with either of the two female characters in a romantic relationship. 

The female leads are similar in which they're fiesty and tsundere-like and don't have friends except Taiga has one friend. As for the male lead they're both outcast such as Ryuuji he's unable to make friends because of his appearance. But eventually they're able to find close people to click with. As for the story plot, Toradora is a little bit different. It mainly focus on romance problems such as love triangles while My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU focus more on school activities and philosophical views on society. But if you like romantic comedy then Toradora is for you.

-Both have a male lead and two or three (in the second season of Oregairu, three) female main characters -Both have similar character designs; Hachiman to Ryuji, and Yui to Kushieda -Both see a more realistic approach to the high school romance genre, and thus feel similar in tone -Both have similar dramatic moments and quarrels between characters -Both develop the supporting cast of characters, or the protagonists classmates that aren't main characters in ways others of the genre do not; giving them their own aspirations, vibrant personalities and love interests, although they don't get as much focus as the main characters 

I liked this anime mainly because it has very good character and relation progression and nothing feels forced. This, in my opinion, makes it similar to Toradora. Both have very good characters and good stories and I think if you liked Toradora you will like this too. 

The main character in both have the deadpan eyes and both are spins on the Romcon genre! 

Both anime are about a bunch of teenagers struggling to know and identify themselves, by making themselves a better person. They have their own insecurities and problems to deal with.  

The plot of both series somewhat revolves around helping others getting their date or something that is related to friendship, both plots are very engaging, however the main character in this one is quite different from Ryuuji. He is not as dense as Ryuuji, he is very well aware of what is actually happening and especially, he is very smart. This kind of personality is rarely seen in romance anime because creators love to make dumb and dense main male characters, but not this one. This one is truly a unique one. Both plots have romance evolving in a very correct pace and in-depth characters. Both plots have truly heartbreaking scenes and moments, but also heartwarming and happy ones too. I very highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys watching Romance series!  

Both anime aren't your mediocre comedy, drama, romance, school, slice of life shows. All 2 of them have a certain depth in character development and relationship. Also both are giving you a good view into the characters psyche.  

Same story, about an outcast guy that has to make a decision  

The most important thing is that both are romcoms and have great character development. None of the anime relies on fan service, the stories are well developed. If you are looking Romance or Comedy I will highly recommend you both of these anime. 

Also has pretty good writing, is a romantic comedy, and just overall lots of fun. It's probably the second least convoluted romcom I've ever watched, but that's not saying a whole lot. Th bar is just that low, but don't let that stop you from a cute story with lots of laughs. 

The story takes place in a similar setting and is very character driven. Both shows have a lot of RomCom aspects (Oregairu s1 more than s2 and s3). The biggest difference between these anime are the mc's, the rest is very similar Keep in mind this isnt the same show but i can see someone who enjoyed one being a fan of the other.

Another great romance, a little longer but I feel like the characters of both series have been trough similar struggles.  

Both shows feature a group of highschool students with romantic feelings for each other yet refusing to tell the respective other. The drawing and animation style of both Toradora and Ano Natsu are very similar, so the atmosphere in both shows feels alike. Although Ano Natsu features fantastic elements, both shows' focus lies on romantic comedy and drama elements.

Both feature a very similar artistic design and narrative style, not coincidentally under the same director. Toradora and Ano Natsu de Matteru bring together a high school boy and girl into an unexpected romantic situation. 

Both deal with high school kids falling in love with one another, and these crushes intertwine. Both are heart-wrenching romances and they will twist your feelings. You will feel happy, go "awww" because of cuteness or go "awwww" cause of sadness. Very beautiful anime. Both are also by JC Staff, the art style is also very similar.

I have this feeling while watching this anime that it has the same atmosphere on Toradora. On How the ending song came..and How the ending came.

Toradora and Ano Natsu share the same incredible artwork.  

They both have this very similar feeling to them even though its alot like anohana, i do think there that toradora feel to it aswell. 

They are both from J.C Staff, they both have the same art style, they both have a short girl with blondish hair and whenever she smiles, i instantly get reminded of Taiga from Toradora. If you enjoyed Toradora I'm sure you will also enjoy this, but Toradora is better. 

I'm actually surprised how much these two series had in similarities compared to one another after watching both. Yes, these two series are quite similar in a good way. Both series details a normal main protagonist who meets a strange girl in the beginning. They endure many factors but eventually fall in love. Both series are lighthearted and also has various love triangles involving other characters as the episodes progresses. In fact, the other characters have their own issues that are presented throughout the series that can be seen as realistic and common in real life/relationships. Both series has comedy, drama, romance, and also emotions. Needless to say, both series presents a romantic comedy that is a bit unique that is entertaining.   

Same director, EXTREMELY simliar feel to it. The romance is sweet and impacts you emotionally. Similar vibrant art style. Both beautifully well made. 

The character designs of both anime are very similar. Both involve a love triangle between friends. 

Very similar to Toradora, a group of high school friends with complicated love relationships. The endings are really similar. 

They have similar aspects and mood in the series such as love, and comedy-drama, though it focus much more romance then comedy. The atmosphere of the show has a serious tone in it, and characters are driven by their emotions on how they feel to the person. When progressing through the story, their are some dramatic moments and some sweet moments between the main male and female characters. Toradora follows a boy who is caught by an extreme tsundere girl with a cold but shy attitude inside of her. Ano Natsu follows an alien girl who have somewhat a shy personality inside of her. 

Isn't highschool just the greatest?! Wasn't for me! Both shows just make your heart fluffy with just how innocently cute they are. Both revolve around a group of people with feelings for not-gonna-tell-you. Overall, both share a similar atmosphere & are just similar! 

The atmosphere is very similar in both anime. There is a lot of (good) drama and both have great moments. 

Toradora gave me the same heart-beat while waiting for next ep or when main character are close to each other ;) both 'bout school, love and finding place in life.

In many ways, Takasu Ryuuji is like Kuronuma Sawako. He is scary looking but caring for others, and he is also a "loner" to begin with. However, things started to change when Kitamaru helped him, as Kazehaya Shouta helped Sawako too. But unlike Kimi ni Todoke, Toradora is a much better love story in my opinion. So if you REALLY like Kimi ni Todoke, I recommand you watch Toradora.  

both are unique school life animes. the characters in both are unforgettable, very funny at times, very touchy at times, unpredictable...the overall atmosphere is very similar especially with Pin and Yuri as the quirky teachers :D  

Both series are about an easily misunderstood protagonist and their gradually increasingly circle of friends as they struggle with how best to support one another 

Both are full of misunderstandings which lead to both comedic and awkward situations, with genuinely caring main characters and offering a ton of character development - both Sawako and Taiga grow as people throughout their respective series. Toradora also offers a bit of comedy-violence on the side. 

It has a history of light and pure romance that is being built throughout the series, with protagonists who at first find it difficult to make friends, but over time are surrounded by friends and building a page of romance in your life. 

- slow developing relationship - lovable characters - friends play a big role in both of these - a lot of comedy - feels In my opinion, these can be considered ones of the best romance anime ever, I enjoyed watching them :D 

I don't normally watch romanceschool anime , but these two were really good , I put them together only because they share same genre . I watched TORADORA a long time ago and still remember how I felt with every episode , some of them made me felt pain and some not , put in general it was great . KIMI NI TODOKE is a nice anime with a cute characters , I love it when it gives me energy and hope , fun too watch . 

I've seen a lot of negative criticism for this show - mainly surrounding our main characters Sawako and Shota - many say they are bland and boring personalities with no likeable or dislikeable traits, and I think I would have to agree with that. But if there's one thing that Toradora has going for it it's a pair of interesting and unique protagonists that really keep the show interesting and fun throughout. Both of these shows are amazing shoujos, however, so I highly recommend you watch both anyway.  

Someone may look scary, but that doesn't mean that they are. It's a common theme between the two, and both share the genre of romantic-comedy. 

Both are comedy romance manga, which are set in highschool, and in both one of the Mcs struggles with thier intimidating appearance. 

The anime I will be recommending is "From Me to You," A romance anime that is quite similar to Toradora and other romance shows. When I use the word similar, I do not refer to it being as cliche as some romance stories are. Kimi ni todoke has little to no fanservice in its franchise compared to toradora, but that's irrelevant to begin with. Both of these shows are very unique and quite specific to their own storylines. Kimi ni todoke is a romance story that follows a young girl named sawako kuronuma, a timid girl that is treated as a delinquent and has little to no friends to talk to. This all changes when she meets the love of her life , Shouta Kazehaya, which is the complete opposite. When you look at it, the two stories are very different, but instead of being an accused boy delinquent, it is actually a girl. The main characters of both characters have their own talents, and even if they seem similar, they are different in a very interesting and romantic way.  

Misunderstood Delinquent like lead male characters, awesome comedy and great female characters with tons of misunderstandings and comedy. Toradora is a bit more complete then school rumble, but school rumbles cast is more enjoyable then Toradoras in my opinion. Both are great Comedy/romances.  

If you're looking for a great romantic comedy, look no further. School Rumble does well in blending slapstick humor and slice-of-life with a bit of romance. Both titles are similar in that they are driven by their characters and how they develop over the course a school year, and it's really easy to connect to the characters. Be wary that SR may not offer as conclusive an ending as Toradora; even so, it's well worth the ride! 9/10 

Both shows are about the problems of school kids confessing their love to someone. In both of them, one of the main characters is a feared delinquent though too shy to confess and express his/her feelings. The initial situation soon developes into a more complicated network of who's in love with who. 

Both are romantic love comedies about involving characters. However, I'll freely admit that Toradora is definitely better than School Rumble. There's a good reason for that though, School Rumble manga went on for 250+ chapters, so the anime finished with a big "to be continued" at the end. The story follows many interesting little matches, revolving around Harima Kenji (One of the greatest characters anime has ever seen, for other reasons than what are considered standards) and Tsukamoto Tenma. I should mention both the first and second season ended with a big "to be continued." They decided to animate the end of school rumble as a 2 episode OVA, rather than wait for funding for an entirely new season. The OVA skips over everything that's happened in the meantime, so you'll have to read it to be informed as to what's happened, but it's not absolutely necessary. I could ramble and explain the show, but I figure it's more effective to say this. If you liked Toradora, if you liked Seto no Hanayome, if you liked any show similar to these, you will enjoy School Rumble. It's certainly one of my favourites.  

Both anime take place in a high school setting. The male protagonists from both series start from episode 1 with a well-known reputation at school as a mean delinquent among their classmates. It takes a few episodes before their classmates begin warming up to them. Typical stuff found in other high school anime are also present such as cool teachers, swimsuit fanservice, and school festivals. Not typically found in school life/romantic-comedy anime, are fight scenes. The short fight scenes are scattered throughout each series in order to advance the plot. However, the main draw to these series are their comedy and romantic bits. Both series find the right balance for each. Since both series are romantic-comedies, you can expect to see some romantic bits, intertwined with some comedy. In some anime, it's made pretty clear early on who the final pairing will likely be...not so in School Rumble or Toradora! Love triangles are found in both involving the male protagonists which will keep you guessing who the final pair will be. The randomness in their 26 episode run helps keeps the series from going stale.  

They have the exact same sort of situation, setup, and plot - at least initially. Toradora has better art and School Rumble has way more jokes, so bear that in mind. 

More than one love triagle, have a tsundere character, a rich girl character, are both funny romfoms except Toradora gets serious at times while school rumble stays silly. 

They are both romance comedies in a school setting. School Rumble seemed to have more comedy while Toradora was a bit more serious. But they are both hilarious! The love triangles were very similar in each show, and the main character Harima and Ryuuji seemed very similar to me. 

School comedy with very similar character set: Scary looking but gentle inside main character (Harima/Takasu) in love with lightheaded (Tenma/Minori) but he has to spend much time with tsundere (Eri/Taiga). And there is strange Karasuma/Kitamura guy. 

Same kind of school love comedy tinged with feely moments. Both are full of epic misunderstandings between people failing to confess their love. Toradora has a bit more sad moments while School Rumble is more focused on comedy. 

Both animes are high school romantic comedies that are written very well. Love triangles turn into love rectangles and pentagons, making the relationships between characters very complicated and hysterical. 

Super generic characters. Takasu/Harima : They look like a deliquents but really sweet and kindinside. Minori/Tenma : Both light-headed and weird. The MC's first love interest. Taiga/Eri : Tsunderes who spent most of their time with the MC. Kitamura/Karasuma : Weird and strange guy. Both have the same problems of confessing to someone they like.

Both are school based romantic comedies. Although in Toradora the romantic side is more explored. But in the core both are anime that highlight love life of students with a bit of comedy sprinkled in. 

If you liked Toradora you will defiantly like Go sick because the relationship between the two main characters are very similar to Taiga and Ryuji's. The whole love hate thing. Although the plots are no where near similar. But, Taiga reminded me a lot of Victorique! 

Even though Toradora is more Slice of Life whereas Gosick is Mystery, the main characters are really similar: there's a main guy whom eveybody thinks is scary because of his appearance when in reality he's kind-hearted and soft, and a main girl who's tiny but rude and treats the main guy like her servant. The main girl has problems with her father in both anime (though the situations are very different).  

It has an adorable girl with an attitude and a boy by the same name who people find scary because of his appearance. They become friends and go on adventures. GOSICK is a scary and midly grusome show though.  

In both of the series the main characters have little to no friends since everyone is scared of them.The feelings of the 2 main characters for each other grow stronger as they go through hard times and the boy takes care of the helpless tsundereloli. They are both based on light novels. 

LOVE-HATE RELATIONSHIP: Victorique and Kujou's relationship reminds me so much of Taiga and Ryuuji from Toradora! Victorique and Taiga are both TSUNDERE characters. They're both abandoned by parents, so they somewhat go through the same childhood experiences. Kujou and Ryuuji are both responsible individuals as they take care of their opposites and the girls rely on them heavily. Plots may have been different since Gosick is about mystery and Toradora is just an average highschool story. 

These are both romance anime at heart. Though they have very disparate themes, they feel fairly similar. The female main in both are tsunderes, and their relationship with the male main has the same dynamic. If you liked the romantic aspect of this anime, I would really recommend checking this one out as well. 

both anime are about short girls, that enjoy bossing a certain male around. GOSICK has a very touching ending, and so does Toradora. Both female protagonist are a little violent and blunt in their behavior. 

Both stories have a love-hate relationship and slow romance, though Toradora focuses more on slice-of life-while Gosick focuses more on mystery. (Perhaps the plot is really different from each other.) There are also a lot of similarities between the two main characters. People are scared of the guys (Ryuuji and Kujo) in both anime, but both care a lot for the girls. The girls (Taiga and Victorique) are both small, long-haired girls who are bossy to the guys. Both also have problems with their father. 

Althrough different genres, both anime have similar dynamics between the two main characters - a couple in which the girl is a small, agressive and borderline abusive tsundere who warms up to the male mc through as the plot progresses. 

Both anime have a similar relationship between the two main characters Victorique is like a quieter, more refined Taiga, with the same (or more) amount of cuteness If you liked one of them, your bound to like the other :D 

Alright listen up. Literally during the first episode of Gosick I thought that this was going to be like a mirror of Toradora, and I was excited. The only real difference between the two shows is that Gosick is darker, and has mystery elements to it, while Toradora is completely rom-com/slice of life. However, both plots both progress the romance of the two MC's very well, and the characters are almost IDENTICAL. Let me give a few examples: -Both MC's are misunderstood and feared by most of the outsiders. -Kujou, the male-lead from Gosick, is a little less aggressive than Ryuji, but not by much. And they BOTH talk about how their eyes make give them a bad impression. -Both female-leads have the same attitudes towards the male-lead, but I won't go into it much considering I would have to show some spoilers. Overall the love story is very alike and they both wrap up in a very similar fashion. If you enjoyed Toradora, and don't mind a little mystery and a darker plot, you should love Gosick. If you enjoyed Gosick and want a show focused more on comedy and relationships, you will love Toradora. Both show's left me with a void longing for more. Just go watch them.  

If you liked Taiga and Ryuuji's relationship and personalities then Gosick would be a pretty good match for you. Victorique is just like Taiga. Freakishly long hair, tsundere behavior, and small stature.While Kujou has a similar personality to Ryuuji. A lot of drama and romance too. Both have satisfying endings that can leave you with a tear or two. 

The relationship between the main protagonists is very similar, and not only that but they are even similar to each other. The main girls in both are of extreme edginess and also very agressive. The main boys are both calm and are very feared in school (for very different reasons though). Basically, in the plot is when they differ but in the romance... it's the same. 

Not the most friendly of greetings, although such a thing of the past is just that. Before such, however, we are met with the growth of two characters who draw closer together through a series of events featuring multiple ups and down. An unlikely match brings forward a beautiful story. Welcome to Toradora and Gosick. Gosick, a detective story, in the land of Sauville, with multiple other plot details dwelling into the lives of our protagonists, is something of a realistic story with a good mystery in the mix. Toradora, a love story that only knows how to meddle in its own triangles, with our protagonists helping one another to get out with their love interests multiple turns of events are frequent in this weird and wonderful romance. Both are pretty good anime of their time, with Gosick being a little less known, but a good mystery in comparison to a more dramatic rom-com. I suppose the main girls Victorique and Taiga are a tiny bit similar, especially when paired with similar counterparts, Kujo and Ryuuji respectively.   

Both of them are high school romantic/comedy anime with intriguing premises and unique approaches to the romances. Both also have strong, slow burn progression over their comedic episodes. However, Toradora's character development is a lot stronger and its cast is a lot more fleshed out (at least so far, as of writing this Kaguya-sama is 2 episodes into season 2, which makes this hard to compare to a completed show), and it has more serious moments as opposed to Kaguya-sama being more heavily reliant on the comedy. Both also have absolutely adorable characters and character interactions; if you love these idiots in one of these shows, you'll probably also love them in the other. Some parallels between character archetypes could be made, with Taiga/Kaguya being the rich girl/tsundere, Ryuji/Miyuki being reliable/hard workers, and Minori/Chika being the goofy/innocent best friend of the rich girl.  

Both deal with characters whose pride gets in the way of their love life. The portrayal of love as a game is present in both of these anime. The development of relationships are both incredibly unconventional and indirect. Kaguya-sama has more of a cat-and-mouse feel, while Toradora deals with flirting through proxy characters.  

Both are romantic comedies set in highschool with very stuck up and prideful MCs, which are surrounded by a bunch of lovable idiots while they get close to one another. 

Taiga-Riujin are pretty reminiscent of Shirogane-Kaguya since the male leads are both tall, poor, capable of cooking and cleaning perfectly, have a "mean" face and have troubles expressing their emotions. Taiga and Kaguya are short tsunderes that are respected by the rest of the school. While in Toradora the plot balances slightly more towards the build up of a relationship between the mains, in Kaguya the mains try to build up the relationship themselves. Said animes have a goofy airhead well "equipped" girl. Taiga and Kaguya share a similar background with a lack of certain figures or friends. While Taiga balances slightly more towards a violent side, Kaguya is more of a threatening person. The shows take a look at the daily lives and comedical events between the main characters and for all of the aforementioned reasons both shows are really reminiscent of each other.  

Stories are quite similar to each other: - Main Characters' backgrounds are quite similar Girl: Very Wealthy family but are not close to/cut off from family members Guy: Not well-off - MCs don't want to admit their love for each other (more subtle in ToraDora!) - Comedic storyline - Smooth art Both shows are similar in quite a number of ways. If you liked either one of them it's likely you'll like the other if you give it a shot :) 

Both romances with some comedy moments, Toradora takes a more serious narrative on the whole, but is completed, so if the ending of Kaguya-Sama left you with an Itch, Toradora might be the anime to scratch it. Toradora also has some "will they won't they?" Moments in it, and a nice set of characters to boot. Visually its on the old side, but you wouldn't know its a 2008-2009 anime, and i would definitely give it a watch if you want a nice romance plot. 

Toradora is a bit more serious (small shift towards romance) Kaguya is a bit more fun (small shift towards comedy) - Both shows are romantic school comedies, with slice of lifish bits - Both became more serious as the show went on. - Both have small, nice cast of somewhat similar characters (read other people reccomends for details) In my opinion, both also are a must watch 

The common things between the two are: first, the hot-headed tsundere type heroine. Second, the type of humour and comedy is pretty much enjoyable for anyone. And third, theses two animes really stand out and are worth watching even if you don't usually watch romance or slice of life.  

Both feel very similar, because of how many similarities some of the characters have, trust me if you liked one, you'll love the other.

Same production staff, similar plot, hell even the exact same seiyuu for both main characters as Toradora. Plus lolis and guns, who could not like that? 

By request of a complainer I will go in depth into my analysis of how they are similar, Also, make a correction since I was in a hurry when I posted originally, you have a protagonist being pursued by three similar girls, one who avidly denies attraction or has no attraction from the beginning (Aria/Taiga) One who is well mannered and is similar to the Yamamoto Nadeshiko character (Minori/Shirayuki) and then you have a cute acting character that has a darkside (Ami/Riko). Further on in both Ryuji/Kinji ends up providing meals for Aria/Taiga and is treated like a slave. End Recommendation 

The main female characters are both Tsundere. Toradora and Hidan no Aria have a Rie and Junji tandem making them sounds like Ryuuji and Taiga. They are aslo created both by J.C. Staff 

This anime follows the genre tsundere and features the the voice actor Kugimiya Rie A.K.A the queen of tsundere all anime with Rie as the main usually have almost identical moods and character types so of u liked tordora you'll love hidan no aria and many of her other her other animes including: zero no tsukaima,Shakugan no shana,Dragon Crisis,Hayate combat butler. And some that don't feature Rie but have characters identical to taiga,shana,Louise The are: gosick,C3,the mystic archives of dantalian,Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase 

both are by JC staff and have a tsundere lead with the same voice actor. 

Toradora! and Hidan no Aria are similiar because of the relationships between the two main characters (Ryuji and Taiga/ Kinji and Aria). Also, Aria and Taiga are both Tsunderes (Who doesn't love Tsunderes?) 

First of all the similarities between the characters Aria and Taiga are incredibly similar. The male protagonists in both of the animes are share the same characteristics. The only difference in the animes are Toradora doesnt have guns the rest is incredibly similar

- There is no way I can not recommend Toradora!, because besides being two animes very similar thematically, they are still two animes that I loved and surely recommend to all the fans of romantic comedy 🌸😉💞😍 !!  

Both feature a bad-tempered tsundere (Aria and Taiga) who treats the male character like a dog/slave. Both characters slowly fall for the male character the more time they spend together.  

Both have a comedic and romantic plots. The protagonists are both strong and they are having hard time to realize that they are in-love in both boys. Also Usui and Ryuuji are both good in cooking.  

Both girls in each series are tough. Also there are love/hate relationships. Both have comedy, romance, & school life story lines (^^) 

They're both romantic comedies, though there is more romance in Toradora!. They're both great animes and definitely good watches  

Toradora! is a great watch if you enjoyed Kaichou wa Maid-sama! The two of them are both great romances with great comedy and drama to keep you enticed. While Kaichou wa Maid-sama! was more episodic in nature, Toradora! follows a straight plotline, it manages to keep you on the edge of your seat with drama, and also makes you laugh your heart out in comedy, all while wrapping up each episode nicely as to not leave unnecessary cliffhangers. The main girl characters are also similar in nature, being hostile at first, then becoming friendlier as time progresses. If you enjoyed Kaichou wa Maid-sama! then you'll definitely like Toradora!  

I really loved Maid-sama and Toradora! equally. They have the same kind of story and atmosphere but the characters are a bit different.  

Both animes makes you smile and are about love. Both are very funny too, if you liked Maid-sama you will like Toradora! (This is my first recomendation so eh.. XD maybe not the best) 

- Each of these series mix great comedy and romance together while following a tsundere lead. - Both Taiga and Misaki fell in-love with the guy they once hated, their love stories are full of surprises, that's why it's very fun to watch. - The females are both a bit hotheaded and competitive, while the males are calm and collected. - Each show has an absolutely hilarious cast that suppliment the main characters very well. Any show can make you laugh, but the real beauty of Toradora and Maid-sama lies within romantic aspect. One minute you'll be laughing like crazy, and the next you'll find yourself immersed in those little romantic moments that just put a smile on your face and give you butterflies.  

Both of these are funny and cleverly told story’s about awkward romances, I personally enjoyed both of them and they both give me similar vibes. 

maid sama is a bit like toradora, both are romances with a bit of comedy and a female lead with anger issues ( who i guess you could call tsunderes ) who falls for a guy they hated at the start but that's about it in terms of similarities since toradora is way better than maid sama in every way, don't let me stop you from watching it tho  

Starting out with similar situations BokuTomo and ToraDora share many similarities within the first episode alone. Similar main male characters; both boys with mean eyes who unintentionally get their classmates to give them things out of intimidation, not to mention they know how to cook! And both series have a lonely, yet strong-willed, long-haired female protagonist who decides off the bat that she is on first-name basis with her respective boy, and he likewise becomes just as close to her. Both slice of life shows relate to the troubles of high school, be it romance or acceptance, and tell how different people can come together by the simplest means.

Both male protagonist have been labeled as delinquents because of their appearance. They both seem to befriend to two girls who are usually quiet with snappy attitude. Both also contain parody of the female protagonist and a pretty popular girl doesn't like each other right off the bat. 

Toradora! story: male lead:"I'm not a delinquent. its the eyes! It's all a misunderstanding! I'm a nice guy!" "Wah? who's that girl i bumped into?" half an ep or so later... "we're both looking for love, Lets help eachother find a boyfriend/girlfriend." Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai story: Male lead: "I'm not a delinquent. Its all a misunderstanding! I'm a nice guy" "wah? who's that girl talking to herself?" half an ep or so later "we're both looking for friends, Lets help eachother get friends." If this sounds like i'm making fun of the anime, i'm not. i freaking love toradora. My fav anime of all time. 

Both male protagonists are mistaken as 'delinquents' because of their appearance. They both meet an unsociable female who hates people who think they 'understand' her.

Lol. These two animes is really had same male lead MC characterization. But, the diffirent is the story. You can really see all of the different from episide one. But, as my opinion based on the characterization from male MC, i pretty recommended these two shows 

Both are shoujo anime about a cute love story. Both male characters have nice and helpful personalities, and the female characters are both misunderstood people. 

Both are about a tsundere girl and, despite the difference in the amount of episodes, are similiar in character development. 

Say I Love You is similar yet very different than Toradora. Both anime follow a building relationship between the two main characters. If you are looking for a good rom-com, I would totally recommend Toradora!! 

Both rom-coms based on misunderstandings between the main male and female characters. They both come across light-hearted at funny while also tackling deeper topics (e.g. trust in relationships). Overall they're both just really cute romances. 

Girl is somewhat isolated and aloof from rest of classmates at school. Both high school dramas. In Sukitte Ii na yo only the female protagonist is an outcast and misunderstood while both male and female protagonsits are weirdos in Toradora. Both female protagonists very shy and timid when it comes to pronouncing romantic feelings. Tons of awkward moments but the payoff is great. The greatest similarity is the female protagonist who is initially very lonely and misunderstood with the male protagonist becoming their key to happiness. Both shows are pretty different, but have similar vibes.

Sukitte Ii na yo is similar to Toradora because both follow a group of high schoolers who are just getting to know what love is all about. Of course, we have the tsundere female lead, (in)famous male lead (one is beloved and the other is feared, for no reason), their friend group, the popular model who has a change of heart, etcetera. But what matters most, they both really tap into the lives of teenagers, stuff they go through, and their journeys to understanding love.  

These two are love triangles that revolves around a cast of high schoolers who have similar roles such as a male who is cool and respectful and a female mc who misunderstood people. 

school stuff, schoolboy who everyone thinks is intimidating delinquent from looks, though actually very nice personality, likes random girl, but gets close to another in order to reach goal, eventually developing love between schoolgirl who tries (or indirectly) to correct his image, comedy, touch of drama....same old 

Both series contains the typical main protagonist who at first has no luck with girls. However, as the series progresses, he makes connections with other characters including the main female protagonist and forms a bonds with them that begins with friendship, towards respect, affection, and later romance. Both series features the romantic comedy genre that has a somewhat predictable story but nonetheless executed well that expands beyond the fan-service and more into the drama mixed in with comedy and later on, emotional type. Like romantic comedies, both series feature love trials/triangles, misunderstandings, and a main protagonist treasures their bond with the girl that they respect and later come to appreciate.   

Seiji and Ryuuji are really similar. Guys that look scary but really aren't. They're both the same genre and they're both really funny, but can also be somewhat serious at times. Overall they're both really enjoyable! 

The relationship of these two series is as follows: - The protagonist is a boy who has not had luck in love, due to his appearance as a delinquent, and that hides a good boy inside. - He becomes involved with a girl, which becomes part of his life, where she will show his true nature to him, and together they will join forces so that she, can get her happiness. - Both the protagonist of Midori no Hibi and the girl protagonist of Toradora, have nicknames due to their strength, where anyone who is against you, can be affected. The series seek to show that we do not always search in the right place.  

Similarity - Both main male characters are not either handsome or cool but they are nice - school life Which one is better? Toradora 

Both protagonist are feared by others. (Toradora) Ryuuji is feared because of the way he looks and Seiji (Midori Days) is feared because of his reputation of beating up dellinquents. Both Toradora and Midori Days are Romantic Comedies and have protagonist that realize at the end of the series that the person they truly loved was right beside them the whole time and they never realized it before. 

Midori no Hibi is a hidden gem that’s the closest anime to Toradora! that I’ve seen. Both Seiji and Ryuuji are kind guys that look scary on the outside. Midori looks exactly like a green haired Minori, and both anime are very funny! The art styles are very similar as well. However, Toradora! focuses a bit more on the romance part than Midori no Hibi, and Midori no Hibi has quite a bit of ecchi scenes. However, both are very good romcom anime. Check out one if you liked the other. Have fun! 

Both series' share similar character dynamics. They both contain calm yet caring ML's and aggressive FL's due to events growing up. The main relationship also shares some similarities with its development 

Slow bloom. Toradora and Josee Tiger Fish both follow the same premise and start-up, and really and truly, are the same thing but the story has different attributes. Toradora is based in a school where protags Ryuuji and Taiga play matchmakers for each other. Josee Tiger Fish is about Tsueno and his time caring for Josee. Both female MCs are bitchy violent tsunderes you'd either grow to love or hate with their male partners who don't really know anything about fighting for themselves. You want something that blooms from dumb arguments to a more wholesome relationship? The two anime are the place to go for.  

- A kind and homely boy with little money - A girl with a bad temper, sharp tongue, doesn't trust anyone and is rude to strangers, with some bodily discomfort. On their first date they fight and the girl immediately hates the male protagonist, even though he does his best to take care of her. After that he gains the trust of the female protagonist and they build a great relationship with each other. And the girl is shown to be very careful, attentive and affectionate with the male protagonist. - Character maturation -Drama, comedy, friendship, 

Unlikely duos become in love. Both are light-hearted shows and great shows to enjoy without overthinking about the plot but just enjoy the romance developed. Do not care too much about illogical events. As long as it makes some sense, just go with the flow of the story to enjoy the most out of both shows.

- Short, immature, tsundere main female character. - Cool, poor, hardworking main male character. - Similar arc of mature male character helping female main character to get their life in order and take care of themselves. - Intercharacters romance drama. - Awesome, memorable soundtracks. - Great slice of life, romance anime! 

Toradora! is my personal favourite series and unbeaten in anyway. However I made here this recommendation for Josée purely for Taiga and Josee.♡ Taiga and Kumiko are such a belied (and tsundere!) but beautiful, doll-like, and tiger-like impression but at the same time a fragile princess. And though Aisaka seemed to be perfectly fine, Taiga was as much the same as Kumiko; she had that unableness and hindrance of achieving what she really wanted, and always with the impression of everything being out of reach… In fact the entire Toradora! had also trying to convey a message about that. Maybe Taiga and Kumiko are both what gave of Sagan’s Those without shadow; we sometimes were unable to find our grasp and where we belong because our ableness, that ability to be able to make things possible, was depending onto something or someone.  

Both shows revolves around slapstick humor and cheap drama to entertain the viewer. 

Definately not the same story line but they're both comedic in the beginning and once it gets towards the end, they both get pretty sad and/or dramtic. 

Both of these shows have tsundere leads, though it takes Yuri longer to soften. There's laughter along the way, adorable moments, and moments when it looks like everything will fall apart. Still no matter how hard Toradora! tries to convince you it's only funny or Angel Beats! that it's only serious, there's a gooey center in each of these shows that left me with a smile. :) 

Angel Beats is similar to Toradora! because they are both classified as romance animes that we all want to see more of. They are also similar because the two main characters in each anime start out as somewhat enemies but come to see that they want the same thing and end up falling for each other in the end.  

Both are romcoms, and get into deep romance at the end of the show. 

Both animes are romance comedy and are really good and properly develops each character. And the end of animes they are heartwarming and sad but in a good way. 

Both stories started with comedy but as time goes by both developed into quite dramatic and romantic theme. However Toradora has good character development than the other but still if you saw one of these its highly likely that you will like the other one. 

similar characters, Hiyori is uber small like Taiga and Ryuuji / Yuushin are tall. They are both interesting, if you like slice of life genre then check out Hiyokoi too!~  

Toadora have similiarity of small girl and a talller guy hleping each other thought out life 

It's similar to its genre and the characters. The female protagonists on both are short in size pairing a boy who's far taller than her. But eventhough with that, they end up liking each other. It's just that in Hiyokoi it's not showed in the anime.  

The main characters of both anime resemble each other somehow. The setting of the animes are quite similar. 

These animes are about romance between two high schoolers, one difference is that in Toradora there are more girls who like one boy, and in Hiyokoi there's only one. Also the girl maincharacters are both compared to animals and their personalities are like that too. They both have some funny scenes that defenitely'll make you laugh, and they're funny in their own way but there's also enough romance and cuteness for a good anime.A big difference is the fact that Hiyokoi has -If you don't count the specials- only one episode, while Toradora has a bigger storyline so has a lot more episodes.

Both feature similar entertaining romcom styles, though Toradora leans more towards comedy while Clannad (especially AS) has more drama. While Clannad has stronger thematic development and is more poignant overall, if you liked one you will probably like the other. 

I can't stress how much I loved both these series. Evoking a diversity of emotions (among them, laughs, hearty smiles, tears, and "aww moments" from cuteness), these unforgettable romantic comedies are the archetypes of their genre. If you enjoyed one, you will most definitely enjoy the other (although I was initially hesitant to try Clannad since it is more "drama heavy", Toradora had its tear jerker moments as well). Enjoy! Toradora and After Story greatly share the theme of "growing up" in a sense. Clannad After Story goes with the more realistic approach though which highly suits it. Toradora has a more dramatic feel due to certain conflicts presented in the story line. Overall, Toradora's dramatic phazes can be enjoyed if you liked the drama in After Story; the idea works likewise. 

Romance, Problems with one's self, Slice of lifey. All the normal stuff that creates a good show with a welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed both of these shows almost equally as much and recommend anyone that has watched Clannad and Clannad: After Story to go and watch Toradora! The decision to watch both of these shows is far from regrettable and will leave you with hours of happiness and days of life changing thoughts and feelings. 

If you liked Clannad's amazing character depth and relationship development, than Toradora is a great choice for you. While it can get a bit cheesy at times, Toradora is one of the best romantic character dramas I've ever seen, with characters that serve as the perfect example of 'show don't tell'. Highly recommended to anyone who likes brilliantly complex characters and also enjoys a good old' feels trip. 

Similar in the sense that both are emotional romance shows, however clannad is a bit more on the fantasy side.

Two shows that own the distinction of doing the tsundere character correctly, which is less common than most people think. Orange-haired Tsundere female protagonist who drags the blue-haired levelheaded male protagonist into her hijinks. Very similar tone and surprisingly good pacing, with a small but strong supporting cast. 

Both have unique styles, both have intriguing Main and Supporting characters, both have brilliant female tsundere leads as well as very original male leads, both are very funny and yet very emotionally touching. I seriously sometimes think that they are in the same universe. And like to believe it.

Both main characters tend to be violent and moody. I thought of this at first when I saw this anime. Both are very funny. Although, MM! is ecchi and Toradora is not. 

Both of these anime have similar female role (Mio & Taiga), both are tsundere, and both are Romantic Comedy.  

Both are heart-warming series, with loads of comedy and funny moments that can crack you up, if you also noticed, The guys in both series fall in love with two girls, Yuuno is kind of similar to Minori and Mio is almost taiga twin, since they have the same hairstyle and looks and have are both tsundere. The only difference is that MM! Is kinda perverted more. xD 

Both have aggressive female leads and conflicting love interests. 

Both anime series features a female main character who is a tsundere by nature. The comedy emphasises on this fact and creates situations revolving around their violent natures. The male main character also falls in love with two different characters throughout both series.  

In both animes the main characters are a tsundere girl and a guy, they try to help each other, and help with their relationships. However, in both animes they start to like each other. When you see this anime the first thing that comes to your mind is Toradora. If you liked toradora I bet you will like MM! 

It gives off Toradora waves. 

Both Toradora and AnoHana have the same incredible art work as well as characters that you really grow to care for. Toradora has more humor, but AnoHana has more depth. Both great watches.  

Similar animation style and somewhat similar characters make these shows feel quite alike. If you like this, you will like Toradora! as well. 

Similar character designs, lots of emotional scenes. Both are good drama shows with excellent characters. 

The feel you get after watching both are the same. There's drama, tears, romance, funny moments, love triangles, and friendship. 

Both are charcter-driven stories revolving around a circle of friends dealing with their complexes. Both series also include love triangles and similar animation. And both will also make you cry. A LOT. (mostly in a good way) 

same romance.. quite funny too.. the main characters didn't know of their feelings.. but after the episodes go by they finally realize that they like the other guy.. same school life.. and the side characters have almost the same personality [ex: akira of s.a n minori of toradora ] anyway, why is the ending always the same? but i cried anyway,, it's touching.. X3 

Both protagonists seem to hate each other. But - what was that? - a glance of romance? ;) Romance, word & fist fights (animelike ^.^'), stong female lead with weak sides, especially in romantic moments, but nevertheless are both strong, no wussy girls. Both has school life and comedy. 

Dominant female and a male character. School friendships and personal relationships 

Both of these anime are in a school setting and have 2 students who are known as the strongest in the school. Both anime become love stories filled with fun times together and harsh times toward the end, but both end up like most anime always do... a happy ending that ull have to watch to find out!!! (BTW: Toradora!, Kaichou wa maid-sama!, Special A, and Ouran High School Host Club are all similar anime if u were looking for others as well.) 

Both series' are romantic splice of life with comedy in the story. Both series' main male protagonists are respected by anyone, but the other one is the other way around(fear by anyone). While the main female protagonist of both stories doesn't like to give up once their mind set to do something. Both series' storyline revolves around at school where every plot and twist happens there. 

The relationship between the two main characters has this heavy antagonistic sense to it, in additional to proof that they both care a lot about each other. There's a whole "will they or won't they" vibe through it all with lots of humor but also some serious character moments. The only big difference is that one of them has a crush from the beginning. 

Both are fun and lighthearted. Multiple girls sort of interested in one dorky guy 

Kannagi and Toradora! have similar scenes and action. Also in both are comparable characters: Nagi - Taiga, Jin - Ryuuji, Zange - Ami. 

In both animes a girl and boy live together in the same house, and both girls act tough. Also, in both animes there is a kinda mean girl character that tries to win the boy's heart infront of the girl he lives with. Both cute and funny animes ^O^ 

Both good anime with good main characters, funny story. (nagi represents aisaka) and (jin represents ryujo)...... well, if you enjoyed kannagi... im sure you'll enjoy toradora also :) 

First of all, I found the characters designs extremely similar. Then the main characters resemble each other. Taiga as Nagi are strong female characters but can become weak and Emo if something intense happens. Jin - Ryuuji on the other hand are caring and helpful male leads that have characteristics, which usually belong to female characters. Furthermore if we ignore the exact scenario, the core characterization of both stories are romantic slice of life comedies.
