See that galaxy liquid the guy to the left on the poster is holding? Yea that shit should be the main character as much screen time and character development it has.

This anime is boring, meaning the pace is slower than my moms hyundai. I can only imagine he's gonna be a great healer at S3 if we are unlucky it gets another.

Characters: MC flimsy, His teacher is the brawny old adventurer, and uhm yea the rest kinda comes and goes so you dont really know more than these 2 maybe ... the cook that delivers the galaxy liquid mc. 3/10

Art: So uhm, naruto fillers have better art than this. Maybe the galaxy liquid gets an 6/10 and the rest overall is 3/10

Story: I kinda forgot what i was watching, some dude that wants to be a healer. Doesn't really feel OP in any way, actually pretty weak after 3 ep still. 3/10

I know how nondescript this is, but i feel like it gets the point across. Its gonna 10 billion percent be one of the forgettable ones if you finish it.

MC is reincarnated as a healer in a world where healers seem to exploit others for their services. Just think of it as American health care meme, but in a middle ages fantasy setting.

We all know how this goes. MC is "nice" and doesn't want to let people die as a healer etc.. But what really surprised me was the story and pacing.

Positives
1. Actually hard working MC: Isekai garbage usually either grant OP cheat powers or just show a montage of hard working MC in the first few episodes before making him OP. But this is the first series where he actually IS weak. ... He starts at low level and has to grind very very slowly to grow stronger. He tries to do everything he can to get stronger. The slow pacing even makes you appreciate how hard the MC is working. And that no matter how much you romanticize it, real hard work is still a long journey of boring repetitive practice.
2. Pacing: Unlike the usual isekai where we are just ticking off a checklist of tropes, this show actually bothers to setup the characters and the world. We see the MC training, going to eat after training, trying to sleep and everything. It was oddly relaxing to watch the show and it also managed to get me invested in the show. Although it may feel boring at times, i appreciated the slowness by the end of the series. Definitely not for everyone, but for those who just want a rapid pace, there's plenty of isekai already.
3. MC got a brain: Instead of just becoming a healer, he trains at an adventure guild for a while to learn how to protect himself (atleast run from monsters). He knows he can't save everyone, won't become OP overnight and must get better to help others. He also is one of the few MCs who feels like an adult in a workplace.
4. A few hilarious moments: MC's VA did a great job when delivering comedy dialogues. Actually made me laugh out loud. It ain't god tier comedy, but it is definitely there. It made even the serious moments feel lighter and just made the overall vibe relaxing.

Negatives
1. pacing is kinda slow. I wish they would edit out some repetitive content to add more lore or other stuff from the novels.
2. everything else is still super generic in terms of world/characters. Atleast in this season, there's not enough lore/hooks to distinguish this series from other isekai. But the final episode did get interesting. It felt like "this is where the real story starts". I guess it was a good way to hook viewers and make them buy novels.


Most people should probably skip this. That is why i will put this as Not recommended.
This is like a slow Slice of Life, where you grow along with a hardworking and sincere/realistic MC. Watch the first couple episodes and judge it for yourself. Due to the slow pacing, you won't see anything genre defining, but you will atleast get its "vibe".

But those who crave a slow isekai that still has combat/plot, i would absolutely recommend this. I loved it and will probably be jumping to novels.

Interesting premise that promises a unique isekai story.

Ends up being typical and honestly- quite boring. I say this as an isekai fanatic; I love isekai, but the one thing I cannot stand is when the plot is the MC training continously with no development. The first 4 episode is the MC literally training and trying to level up while the plot moves an inch. Then he moves to another city, and now he has to clear a dungeon, and of course he does (with more training and small improvements). It's literally like watching someone play a video game. I'm here to watch an anime, not ... watch someone play a game. It's funny cause the anime tries to reference itself that it is indeed not a video game, but that 4th wall breaking did nothing but made me scoff even more. The training arc(s) makes no sense either. MC repeatedly gets his butt kicked, yet he is the only one in the world who has cleared the dungeon, which holds some of the strongest monsters. Yet he can't even beat a simple starting adventurer. Talk about inconsistency.

Is there anything good about this anime? There is actually- the goddamn story that the anime should've been concentrating on instead of watching the wimpy ass hero cry and train all the time. The story itself is actually super interesting. Healers have become corrput and are charging crazy amount of money for their services- in some instances if payment isn't ment then the patients become slaves. There's hints herre and there about the world which it works. Those parts are good. Then the anime goes right back to the MC like...doing boring stuff. If the anime had actually concentrated on the premise like the show described, I guarantee many fans would love it more. I mean, seriously that is an awesome story line. But instead every episode we get 15 minutes of the MC getting his butt kicked during training, then not learning absolutley nothing- then repeat again next episode, aaanddd continue the cycle until the finale.

Speaking of MC, how is he? I started off liking him. He is a total wimp. But I'm okay with that. I like alot of wimpy MC's. Deku from MHA is awesome. I loved Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul (seaosn 1 at least). But Luciel? He's wimpy, a cry baby, and well- that's pretty much his entire character. His motivation is all over the place. Money, girls, a place to live? Who knows. Sometimes it's everything. Sometimes it's nothing. The thing about wimps is that there needs to be a pay off. Like, there needs to be growth. There is no growth with Luciel. So to sum up- Luciel isn't bad- he's just super duper boring. How are the side characters? Forgetable. Not a single one stands out. They're all cardboard cut outs of every single side anime characters you've encountered before. The interactions are as basic as they come. That said- that's the least of this show's problem. The side characters do a solid job over all, even if I don't remember a single of their names. It's the lack of story that really brings down this show.

So should you watch this anime? I would say pass. I wanted to quit by episode 4 or 5, but at that point I had already invested too much time, so I had to see it through to see if there was any pay off in the end. And the answer is no.

I would be hard pressed to manage to spoil this show by using words since really nothing happens. Granted I have watched only four episodes, but even that's three more than I should have. So story is non-existent, at least until now. Things do happen but there's no theme other than him training, which coincidentally is almost never shown.

Speaking of not showing things, animation is very lazy. Every episode is filled with static dialog images with only mouths moving in as fewer frames as possible. Sometimes it's even still images with some lens flare added on top of it to hide the fact half of ... the episode feels like PowerPoint presentation. Then for no reason at all they will spend inordinate amount of time animating completely stupid shot of someone drinking beer or something like that.

Character writing is stale as it gets. There's absolutely nothing new in this show you haven't seen in literally any other issekai show. All, and I mean it, all of the characters are two dimensional simpletons with no ability for internal conflict or having personality. Humor is just boring and you can see they are trying really hard to compensate for poor writing. None of the jokes land, ever.

I'd say skip it. There's nothing to be gained here and I would advise re-watching any other issekai you even slightly liked as that will at least be somewhat interesting and will hold equal amount of new content as watching this.

Incredibly low effort anime. Doesn't feel like anyone cared about this show. The animation is really janky looking, no detail, action is fluid, but still very low effort. Characters are kind of amusing, but also kind of annoying. Also not really any depth of any kind there. Mostly the same for the story, no depth and poor world building. Pacing is meh, slow, but at least it moves. Voice acting leaves a lot to be desired, no stand out performances and I find the main character to be grating. Soundtrack is lame, not terrible, but very forgettable. Op is actually pretty good though, but the ... ed is meh. Overall it's boring most of the time with the occasional amusing joke or two. The qulaity is close to the bottom of the barrel. 4.45/10 Dubbed

The problem with trying to review Seija Musou is that it elicits very little feeling, in that it's neither especially good nor especially bad. Trying to describe why it's so average is also difficult as the descriptions could apply to a dozen other shows, some of which aired in the same season.

By now the premise is so played out it barely needs mentioning; A barely developed cardboard cutcoat human being gets transported into a typical western fantasy RPG setting with guilds, dungeons and a leveling system which serves as a lazy shortcut to let the audience how strong the characters within the setting are. To ... it's credit, Lucien, the main character, avoids the usual genre cliche of having an overpowered combat skill that let's him overcome every challenge with little difficulty. He does however fall into the convention of being a faily uninteresting character with little to distinguish him from other characters, other than his apparent masochist attitude towards physical training that the show milks for comedy at every opportunity.

The actual plot of the show itself blends in with the rest of the isekai genre as well.The most interesting thing the show does with its world is the contrast between Luciel's selfless attitude towards helping others with healing magic with how other healers in society have formed a cartel to profit off the need by adventurers to access healing magic. Had that been the core of the show, it would've at least helped distinguish Seija Musou from other shows. Instead, most of it is focused on Luciel undergoing physical training in order to actually be able to fight, an arc which takes up a good chunk of the show's runtime and leaves many of the potentially more interesting elements by the wayside.

Ultimately this is another forgettable show that does nothing particulary well or particularly bad.

The drug his boss gives him cause ED. he find a out in ep.10 . He apologies all the time, even after getting stabbed . Seriously, what the hell is up with these writer.

he isnt able to progress any relationships, his only ... friends in the world wrote to him but the guildmaster to post or give him his letters. bear in mind he is in ther eoftern enought to heal everyone for pennies .

I know I’ve thrown the insult “made by an AI” around a lot in my reviews lately, however, more than any isekai heck, more than any anime I’ve seen I don’t think I’ve ever watched an anime where it feels like it’s been AI generated on every level.

It’s another story about an overworked salaryman dying from overworking and getting reincarnated into yes, you’ve guessed it, a medieval European-ish, Dragon Quest, light novel fantasy land with levels and status screens which won’t matter in the long run. Here he learns to become a healer by sitting in his room and ... casting “heal” over and over again until his stats are good enough. Yes, that's the plot. There are adventurers in the generic starter who don’t like him because healers are extortionately expensive, but he's nice so he heals people for free. Then he does combat training with a big muscle man and whatever, who the fuck cares? That part about healers being extortionately expensive is the only interesting plot point this show has to offer.

The rest of the anime is so by the isekai book you’d think there's an isekai holy scripture these writers and artists have to abide by. The character designs and backgrounds are bland and ugly, the art is simple and the animation sucks, the scene directing is all over the place with jarring edits which I think were supposed to be humorous but come off as annoying, and overall it’s just dull as piss.

I think I hate The Great Cleric, but hate might be too strong a word nay, an emotion to feel towards something that feels like it’s made by artists and writers who have just given up. It’s so bad I watched episodes 3 and 4 on pirating sites rather than watching them on Crunchyroll just to make sure my view isn’t counted in Crunchyroll’s database. It is an anime that was possibly painted by literal numbers.

People keep saying that this anime feels AI generated and although I agree that it's completely devoid of inspiration or anything of substance I fully believe that chatGPT can make something far better.

There's nothing really to analyze about this anime, you've seen everything in here hundreds of times if you regularly consume isekais and could probably write this yourself in an afternoon. Its a boring story of some dude who's mercilessly selfless working as a healer in your typical fantasy setting where the cities he works in seem to ... have your standard American healthcare and he's there to upset the status quo. Every character in this is one dimensional and exists to support the MC in one way or another... do I need to go on? Just save yourself your night and watch something else.

No matter how many n number of episodes there... this MC will still be a wimpy pussy piece of crap till the end... It is even more irritating to hear the voice of MC's... I hope to anyone new to skip this if you can't tolerate such!!!

I picked this up merely as an obligation to my backlog. I had the novel for this series in the backlog for years...and since the anime came out, I just had to watch it due to the priority it had in the queue.

Yeah, it's practically AI generated. Generic isekai protagonist. The beginning does not sugarcoat the cringe generic garbage pilot episode at all. Salaryman dies working and gets transported into a medieval European world of swords and magic! How original. Many isekai shows take the base template of a medieval European world of magic because they don't want to do any worldbuilding and spend 10000 ... pages talking about the origins of a world like The Silmarillion, and that's fine since their focus is on the story or characters. Many great works have been conjured from a generic fantasy setting. However, this show just takes every template in order to make it easy to create a seamlessly mediocre story.

JP guy learns skills through perseverance!! He gets flustered by hot girls. He's also surrounded by them somehow. Also, he's kind and stuff.

Guys, the JP guy hates discrimination, slavery, and maintains a moral high ground regarding healers, yet the story shows no signs of him combating the system or anything like that. Instead, it's just a token mention. After all, if this show dealt with moral themes, that'd be too different from the isekai template we all know and love about a reincarnated JP guy that loves rice, learns skills, beating monsters, and making friends.

10/10 would highly recommend. Don't take my word for it, take Chatgpt's word for it!

Like all other Iseki's, besides a slim few, this anime falls victim to classic tropes, boring storylines, and overpowered OP. While it's a nice change of pace that he isn't overpowered from the get-go, it still plays into other classics of isekis that make it a bore to watch. I was really invested during the beginning episodes and I thought it had potential, but after you get a feel of the world, it becomes stale really quickly. It takes a lot for an iseki to be good and standout from the rest, and this anime just simply didn't have that special something... sorry
