honestly, Frustration was the only feeling I could get throughout the majority of the volumes, frustration at my self for still reading this crap and at the author for bulying these characters. What drew me in was the drama of this story, they over the top unpredictable drama. however, the more and more I read the story my more depressed I grew, especially concerning Hina's feelings. I don't think there is a single person that read through this and did not the the author had it out for Hina, as if ... she hated the character. Loving someone relentlessly is not easy, but what Hina did through the story was impossible, but maybe thats the point T_T. love is powerful?

My major grime with the story is just that the author spends 40% of the manga on characters not directly related to the progression of the story. this made it harder to read at times but in some cases gave me a greater understanding for who the characters were. The main cast, hina, rui, and natsu were given so much life throughout the story, however hina was the best written character throughout the whole story. Right person Wrong time, type of situation arose between Hina and natsu and it was up to her to make that decision, many decisions, sacrificing her own selfish needs for love for the future of the one she loves, over and over and over. Despite Hina being such a good character, overall I cant really say the characters in the series were that good. I mean, we had unnecessary characters littered throughout the story, simply to make Rui jealous or to ad another fucked up dimension to the manga. he goes on a blind triple date and picks up a drug addict only to be saved by his yakuza gay friend, Does that not sound ridiculous? of course I loved it however.

Story: 7.5
Wow. just Wow. I have never... No one has ever seen a story start out like that, plus points for being completely new and unique but.. The story lacks in pacing. During the manga, certain things would happen so fast and then you would get the most useless side character development arc for 5 chapters straight. If the story was 50-70 chapters shorter, I feel as if this manga could have been perfect. It could have simply been a tragic story on the pains of love, but no, its that, but 70 extra chapters of unnecessary dialogue and characters thrown randomly throughout the story. also Rui and Natsu's trip to the cabin in the winter. I give it a 7.5 because it really could have been perfect, and touched my heart in that fact but ruined it with adding toooooo much.

art: 7.5
really... nothing special. But it does get an extra half points because of the wide panel shots that can be really, shocking, beautiful and disturbing throughout the series. My only issue with the wide panel shots is that they do it for almost every unnecessary kiss scene.

I have a love hate relationship with the series. The tragic story of Hina, akin to 'garden of words' , and the coy romance between rui and natsu grabbed my attention and my apreciation for these characters deeply. Because of this deep appreciation, every dramatic drop, every wide panel, every drop of blood had me appalled, confused, and excited, nothing short of perfection for how I personally enjoyed the series. I also cried closer to the end brrrr.

OVERALL: 8/10.

I can understand people giving this a 6 or a 7, but anything above an 8 you are lost, and anything below a 6, you probably couldnt get through the more weirder parts of the story, overall missing a great and tragic romance. just because of some niche dislike you shouldnt give a series a 1 or 2 out of ten with a long ass review.

You would have guessed the basic premise from the title alone as this is the storyline of a reincarnation to a knight in a world where women are the law, where everything which was considered male oriented is being done by a women and males are treated as objects to satiate the lust. An isekai, not that the tag brings about any possible change in the story.

You would think what earth-shattering premise is this, but let me tell you this that the author takes this weird prologue into something to ... look forward to. Hilarious jokes with actually decent plotline with satiable amount of development. While I still think the main story is bit of a secondary focus for the manga, it is still pushing the plot forward in an agreeable way. The only negative I would say are the translations but that in and of itself is not a thing the original work should be condemned for.

Characters may not be that godly, but characters designs? Absolutely top tier. Every female looks like a possible waifu contender in her own way. The reason I said the characters are not godly, because they have not got the kind of development needed to call them a good character. They are still getting carried by their archetypes which is perfectly fine considering I am basing all of this from mere 8 chapters.

The overall quality of the art is very good. The only minor thing to point out is that sometimes certain things (here boobs) magically change their sizes jumping from panel to panel.

All in all, a comedy manga which actually uses its erotica genre in a comedic way.

There is not much inside of this manga other than the main character's love for each other... and I think that's why it works. There is no grand attempt of dispelling between 'right' and 'wrong', they love each other, and that's the simplest way to put it. One boy is scared of corrupting the one he loves (how much should he be able to take, how much should he be able to love?), and the other is fueled by desire bursting at the seams.

I think Fuyushirazu no Koi wraps what we call 'adolescence' up into a little bow and gifts it to us. Thoughts ... overflowing, you can't stop yourself from acting on them. Maybe your own mother sees you as disgusting, but you can't help it; it's something that's a part of you. It's been brought on by someone who's been with you the entire way, every single twist and turn, and you love them more than anything, so much so that you'll give yourself up entirely for them. It's scary, but you love them. That means it's going to be okay. Words that mean everything once you've heard them, "I love you."

At the window during the early morning, a taboo love, purer than anything, waits for me.

7 out of 10, is my best to rating this manga but there's some point for me to give it more than 7

I can tell it's kinda reminding me to some normal rom-com that i used to see from the past; well, atleast i really enjoying this series for now; it has something like "Masamune-Kun Revenge" plot but still has a good telling and the artstyle of this manga quite fancy and it is good to see.

The Fable es un manga que me gusta más cuando intenta ir por el lado cómico que por el lado más dramático. Pero bueno, es un poco la gracia de esta obra. Se trata de un cómic sobre la experiencia de una persona que intenta huir un poco de su oscuro pasado. En el camino hay momentos de luz y momentos de tensión debido a esos pocos lazos que todavía le quedan con su vida anterior.

Satou es un protagonista interesante que vemos evolucionar a lo largo de 200 capítulos. Aun impasible, su forma de relacionarse con el mundo y su forma de interactuar con otras ... personas mezcla tanto su ética profesional como mentiras como sus sentimientos personales a lo largo de un año. No entiende del todo a la gente y la gente no le entiende del todo a él pero aun así vemos cómo empieza a apreciar una vida tranquila.

Esto es junto a un cast de personajes secundarios más que sólido. Todos muy agradables. Desde bufones, a casamenteros, y acabando con asesinos. Si hay algo en lo que destaca The Fable es en sus personajes y sus relaciones interpersonales. Todos tienen un buen grado de profundidad y son memorables. Y graciosos.

Como he dicho, prefiero a The Fable cuando va en tono de comedia que en tono de acción y drama. Creo que aun sin ser malo, su acción no consigue ser sobresaliente salvo en unas contadas ocasiones. Se abusa mucho de movimientos de manos que el ojo no puede ver del todo bien y los tiroteos no me entusiasman.

Igualmente, en su conjunto, es un manga muy sólido y recomendable. Sus arcos tienen buen ritmo, te engancha fácilmente y creo que tiene un aura personal muy chula. Si quieres un seinen, es muy recomendable.

This manga is very lovely and heartwarming, and worth the read if you are looking for a motivational story. I do have a couple of issues with it though.

As for what to expect, there is a great story with a main character who will experience a lot of character growth, and it isn't forced or given to him with no work. He pushes himself out of his comfort zone and works for his development. He's a likable character despite his initial flaws. The side characters all have lovely interactions and I felt connected to them. I found this manga incredibly heartwarming and inspiring, especially as ... someone who has struggled with depression and self-isolation in the past.

As for critiques, I found the characters to be a little flat. Some of the side characters weren't very fleshed out. The two girls in the game world only had two personality traits; working hard and fighting over a big brother figure in a weirdly romantic way. I'm not a fan of incest so the romantic innuendos made by the sister and a literal child sister figure were a bit uncomfortable to watch. Plus there is a scene where the main character's sister offers to kiss him and he peeps on her showering. Ick. I liked the other characters but they were all a bit bland.

The story was good and wrapped up most of the loose ends aside from one. It seemed to be there to hint at a second series, but it seems as though the author has no plans to go through with this at the moment. It was a little bit predictable though, there was only one thing that surprised me, but most of the time it's just relaxing and doesn't have stakes. However, compared to most isekai that is the norm.

Overall, a good, comfy read that most will enjoy, just keep in mind the incesty stuff is there and it can ruin the positive points of the book for some.

Black Clover is as generic shonen as it can get, on the same level as Fairy Tail in my opinion. If you're a teenager who haven't read Naruto or Bleach yet, you might find something interesting with Black Clover. The main character is as bland of a perfect, innocent main character as shonen can give you. The battle system is non-existent here. All the schools of spells that exist practically have nothing interesting in them. You'd think that there might be intriguing interactions between the spells, like water beats fire or fire beats ice or something. Na. In the end, it's always who has the ... most shonen energy of friendship that completely wipes the opponents' butt.

Overall not recommended for those who've read any shonen that has a glimpse of world building and somewhat structured battle system.

I picked up the manhwa after finishing the anime and I think the manhwa had a slightly better "vibe" than the anime.

The story may not be extremely original and one could find a lot of similarities to the isekai, but the main character is not OP as f**k from the start, so one follows his gradual development.

The drawing and level of detail is perfect. It really is a feast for the eyes to watch the setting and characters. I really enjoyed the colors and drawing in the later stages of the manhwa.

The side characters are unfortunately unmemorable. A bunch of them appear throughout, but ... I didn't form any emotional attachment to them. They don't get much room to express themselves or have any depth. But a couple of the Shadow Army characters were really cool (Beru for example).

For my part, I would also appreciate the 21 chapters that came out after the manhwa ended. I thought it was a really really nice send off to the series.

Signal 100 is a decent read with a unique concept.

Story: 7/10
Nothing groundbreaking. Some parts were really thrilling to read and some were just tolerable. Nothing stands out as bad, except for some asspulls and weird plot twists. Although i did dislike what the author did in the last few pages. The ending is otherwise really solid as well. The story stayed true to its original premise until the very end and makes use of the 100 Signals in a good way.

Characters: 6/10
Class 2-C is being introduced to the reader as a group of disgusting bastards and that’s exactly what they are. They are not likable ... and they are not supposed to be. Some of them had interesting character arcs, even though its nothing special really. They fit their role and the story fairly well.

Art: 8/10
Art is pretty good and I personally like the artstyle quite a bit. The gore is fairly detailed and that adds to the horror of the killing game a lot, even though some of the deaths had me thinking for example „Where tf did that guy get two screwdrivers from all of the sudden?!“, with how some of them were portrayed.

Enjoyment: 7.5/10

I‘d recommend Signal 100. It is definitely not for everyone, but if you don’t mind gore in manga that much it will most likely be a good read for you.

After seeing the reviews not recommending this manga I feel like I have to share my two cents.

I liked this story, I'm just a simp for the "friends to lovers" trope, what can I say, but I do see how some people may not enjoy the story. It feels a bit empty and the romance wasn't really developed at all which is a shame because I thought that it was going to go deeper into how Oka went from being flustered by sharing a bed with Mao, to realizing he liked Mao; but oh well, this was one of those situations where I take what ... I can, and what I take is that Mao is insane but freaking funny and Oka is just cute and relatable in a way.

But yeah, I'm really disappointed in the romance department, I mean, Mao grabbing Oka's shirt and crying? that was fucking cute and it seemed like a great start for a cute romance, but sadly the author wasted the setting they themselves created lmao.

I recommend people give it a try, but indeed it may not be for everyone.

The ending, which some might find controversial, actually ties the story together with a sense of finality that might have been lost had the manipulation theme been relentlessly pursued without evolution. This conclusion offers a bitter reflection on Seiichi's journey, suggesting that some cycles, once begun, are almost impossible to break. This important realization resonates deeply, making even the story's weaker portions worthwhile.

For fans of manga art, Chi no Wadachi is a must-read, independent of its narrative strengths. The artwork is nothing short of spectacular, with each panel meticulously crafted to enhance the story's oppressive atmosphere. The character expressions are particularly notable—they vividly convey the intense emotions and psychological turmoil faced by the characters, adding layers of depth to the already complex narrative.

In summary, Chi no Wadachi is a compelling exploration of psychological horror and manipulation, presented through both a gripping story and stunning visuals. This manga is highly recommended for those who seek a narrative that challenges the boundaries of traditional horror and delves deep into the psychological landscapes of its characters.

A forgettable tale featuring the story of the love life of the demon lord and the angel now that they have regained their memories, which could and should have been executed in a way that this manga would become a moment of joy. But far from that, it is rather the drink of disappointment which you would like to avoid.

Now to touch on the premise a little bit, both the female and male leads suddenly remember their past lives where they were the demon king and the angel/god respectively. And now in the current lives they are in relationship with each other. Decent premise, right? ... Also the demon lord was male in the past life, female in the current one, basically little gender bender action, providing a bit of a leeway for more possibilities in the story.

But apparently the author had other plans. Continued to ignore every other possible prospect which could have made up for at least a readable manga, and chose to focus on the most boring gimmick. Starting from the start, we were revealed about their past lives, thus some rivalry to lovers journey should have been enjoyable. But author chose to ignore that. That "past live memories" was made into second nature a bit too soon, just no realistic reaction to the event at all. A second lead was introduced not too long after that, so maybe a love triangle would not be so bad right? But as the female lead was tied to the male from the start, that possibility was might as well had been zero. Somewhere in the middle, we were told about the gender bender thing, so maybe some jokes regarding it right? No. And countless other possibilities all spurned to result in a manga containing uninteresting events, cheesy one liners and blushing faces all around.

And my god, the amount of characters introduced by the author is abysmal. It looked like he was making chapters just to insert a new character to the already boring roster. And about the characters, they were hella cliché and cringe. Cardboard cutout characters who do not serve any purpose whatsoever. Art was mediocre as well combined with uninteresting panel layout.

Overall, a rushed manga always opting for the wrong direction.

If I could give a piece of advice to people going into this like I did, it would be this: don't expect Berserk. I hyped myself up into thinking that this would be another Berserk, only a lot tamer when it came to violence. That mainly comes from seeing members in the Death Battle community hope for a fight between Clare and Guts (and then being really disappointed when Guts fought Dimitri from Fire Emblem). It's not as good in my opinion, but by no means is Claymore bad.

For starters, and perhaps the largest reason why the Berserk connection was made: this art is PHENOMENAL. ... There is so much detail put into every panel. The landscapes, the character designs, the creature designs, all look amazing. There are few manga I can name with such amazing artwork. I haven't done so as of writing this review, but I plan on making a tab with some panels that I really like from the series (which will be kind of small, but only because there's a surprising amount of boobs in a series readily available on Shounen Jump). Easily the best part of this series is how freaking beautiful it looks, and that extends to the action.

A lot of the series, especially in the latter half, is fight scenes against creatures known as Yoma. With those plentiful fights come plentiful moments of great combat. Each monster has unique ways of attacking the Claymores, and each last for a fair amount of time. They rarely do the trope of nearing defeat before revealing a new form or attack; in fact, I think that only the final antagonist has some variation of it. On top of that, each of the Claymores have distinct face and hairstyles, making them easy to tell apart during the combat.

Finally, there are some really fun characters sprinkled throughout the story. My favorites were the Claymores Helen and Deneve, who have a friendship where they tend to butt heads a lot. I'm glad that the two of them were featured a lot as the series went on. There was one scene I enjoyed where Helen was getting drunk and argumentative, which led to quite a bit of humor.

Unfortunately, not all of the characters were that interesting. I said that the designs were unique, but not many of the personalities were. The premise is this that there are nearly 50 of these warriors, so of course not all of them are going to be featured, but so many names get thrown at you that they all end up blending together. And with that, many of their personalities get lost, especially when compared to other characters.

Also, Clare was pretty disappointing as a central protagonist. She has a good backstory, and a few character moments at the end were interesting, but otherwise she just fell flat. So many other members of the cast stood out over her, whether in personality or in arcs. Even her design was one of the more boring ones. There are several chunks throughout the story that take focus away from her that I found easier to get into because someone else was in the center.

Finally, the story didn't hook me as much as others. There are plenty of cool moments, and when I got to the last stretch it was quick to get through. But when I think of other series I've read, especially my favorites, I think of how gripping they were and how hard it was to set it aside to do something else, even important stuff like eating or sleep. I started Claymore at the end of last year, and there was a point where I put it down and didn't return to it for a couple months. I don't think I ended up forgetting something that is the major difference between liking and loving the series, but I still lost interest for a while and prioritized other stuff. It also doesn't help that Persona 3 Reload came out during this time, a story I ultimately enjoyed a lot more.

Claymore is a bit of a commitment. By no means is it as demanding as, say, One Piece, but if you want to finish it you have to dedicate some time. And there may be things you are dissatisfied with. I also thought that a major element of the world could have been explored some more, but it quickly became a footnote in what was going on. However, if you're a fan of beautiful art and action, and you can put in the time to see it through, then this is something I'd recommend. Especially if you're a fan of intricate monster designs.

What mangaka Ookubo Atsushi is really good at is making unique setting and in this case you got Halloween vibe to mesmerize you. The way he being creative not only the setting but also character design that really blend with the Halloween vibe. But what stood out the most about the manga are the power system. I like the idea of a person turn into a weapon and you need the partner to be compatible usually base on their personality. The art style also drawn you in when character goes crazy and the expression really make it easy to understand what their feeling are.

However that ... is the only positive, now let go to the negative starting with the plot. It not that it generic thus it bad but it really messy to a point it more of after thought rather make it flow naturally example we being told that if the kishin resurrect it will bring madness and people will go crazy but it didn't happen until the final arc that you start question why the kishin is the bad guy? where the effect of the madness that we being told about?. Don't know .This tied to the main villain kishin asura, He not a character but just a plot device. You literally change him into a Bom and will not change the plot. The other villain also a let down especially medusa who a master mind in the plot but turn out just a one dimension villain that want to destroy the world just because....she want to. Character that were kill also didn't evoke emotion like there this guy who have a power to find the villain that hide in the city but he got kill and that it. We never see other character get a revenge for him and soon got forget by the plot. The plot armor also get annoying as the story progress example when the MC fight this dude (KIRIKO) that manage to beat MC and about to kill them but then all sudden his hatred or something got so huge that his soul could not contain it and kill the dude....WTF just happen???. There also the late introduction of character at the last arc that I just don't give a shit and while the ending much better than the anime but it still bad because it didn't solve the conflict but return to status like in the beginning, what I mean is how the MC defeat the villain, well by seal him back of course. Genius!!. Heck even if you ok with it, in the last chapter the writer make stupid joke that ruin the tragic tone that it create like for example when kid find out that the shinigami dead he start crying but then there this character that interrupt him and make the scene have a tonal whiplash which is bad. Also what with the boob joke at the end chapter, it like the writer think it will be funny but instead ruin the ending of the series.

In conclusion, Ookubo good at making unique setting and power system but fell short on the other department. If you ask me which is better the anime or manga, I suggest follow what you like the most because there both will get bad. My advice is to watch the first half of the anime and don't bother anything else.

Sand Land is a story that moves very fast, touches on some stuff but never goes too deep, and is over almost as soon as it starts, but is ultimately a lot of fun and worth returning to on a rainy afternoon. And if you've heard the first three before, congratulations. You're more successful in life than 80% of the people on this website, including me.

The story is simple: two demons and a man travel across the desert to find water for a world that has become a desert while facing off against various challenges. With that simplicity comes a very clean artstyle that anyone ... would recognize as Akira Toriyama's. That clean style allows for easy-to-follow action and very distinct characters, especially the main protagonist Beelzebub.

While, as I said, there isn't to the story in terms of deep philosophical debates, there are some interesting character moments with the humans. Sheriff Rao in particular has a few secrets that he keeps to himself, making him my favorite of the main trio. But that isn't to say that Thief and Beelzebub are bad by any means. Each of them have moments of humor and heart that complement Rao's stoic nature. In addition, several side characters have moments that humanize them in one way or another--except for the main antagonists, whose motivations are extremely simple. That's not a complaint, though. Like I said, this single-volume adventure is a quick and easy trip that was a lot of fun.

If I were to nitpick or critique Sand Land, it would just be that Beelzebub doesn't do much in the fights besides punch and kick. His defining features came from his moments of character and his design, not any attacks. Again, just a nitpick. I wasn't expecting him to have anything as iconic as the Kamehameha.

As my first Toriyama story, I was greatly pleased with what I saw. If I wasn't already motivated to read Dragon Ball due to its influence on the Big Three, I certainly am now. Thank you for all you have provided to the world of imagination and entertainment.

Ah, alright this is my first mixed feelings reviewed, so please hear me out.

As I'm sure you know the synopsis it feels so weird starting out a review without even a short summary. So even though you probably read the synopsis on the page here's a quick refresher.
The general idea is that these girls, people who want to be magical girls download this app, and they'll have a slihgt chance of being a magical girl. Unfortunately there's a few too many magical girls. And so this death game begins.

Alright, so my review on the general idea is that it's interesting enough, considering dark ... magical girl series have practically become their own genre. It's nothing particularly new or super interesting but as well as it's done well enough a good death game series can be amazing. Overall, a decent concept. I'd give it a 7/10, a good.

Let's start with some positives! The art is stunning in my opinion, it captures the action well. The character designs are unique and cute adding feeling of eeriness when they get murdered. I don't have much else to say about the art. 9/10

The main characters are decently developed, with decently strong personalities . My issue isn't with them, but more the side characters who aren't developed and it took them way too long to get any personality at all. 5/10.

Pacing
Easily the worst. The pacing brings down this whole manga from a 7.5/10 to a 6/10 for me. I felt like the pacing was way too rushed, and there wasn't proper build up and release, something which is vitally important for this genre. It made it impossible for me to get attached to the characters that were dying, which is not something you want when they play it off as something super sad and emotional. 4/10

Ok so i liked the 1st episode & started reading it's manga.After watching 1st episode i was really hyped up. Again i'll say u should try reading MANGA & decide for yourself whether what i have written below is correct or wrong! (It's my POV)

It's Anime's gonna flop so bad.I was getting hyped up for nothing. MC is like a side character, least screen time(105 ch & less than 5 scenes where MC is shown doing something), also every other side character has its own Arc except MC, every side character has an unbelievable Plot Armor(Even ASTA is nothing compared to them in terms ... of Plot Armor) like they are about to die but all of a sudden remember something & defeats the enemy. Sometimes u won't see the MC for almost 5-10 chapters. Also probably 1st manga in which MC & FMC haven't interacted at all.
It seems manga's abt to end in less than 5-7 chapters.
So all & all u'll get scammed like me if u read in hope of MC's gonna do something!

Also, i would say it is enjoyable for only those people who only want nice Animation & don't care about story & character development.But apart from that it's nothing more than average.

Almost identical setting as Love Hina, in less compelling and a tad more edgy — not that the latter is necessarily an issue. Not bad per se, but not much material to keep us engaged. Likeable characters with their own quirks (although maybe a bit forceful e.g. Ami), but predictable narrative tropes and comedic delivery, as well as a slow-paced rhythm without much unfolding. Backstories and their resolutions are way too superficial and easy. Also not as fan service-heavy as the first chapter could make it seem in the long run, which may be a good or bad thing depending on your preferences — definitely ... comes off as a mean to grab audience though, which is valid I guess. The art is very clean, oddly enough. Might be worth a read but overall not the most exciting slice of life out there tbh.

By the way, what's the deal about that second "tip" for new writers? The whole point of a review is giving insights that reflect the opinion of the reader, so of course you should expect them to use pronouns. There's no such thing as an "objective" or unbiased review. Don't assume people can't work out critical thinking on their own, lol. And don't assume they can't read either.

It's a good option for mature readers who enjoy slow-paced, thought-provoking horror with a mix of dark mystery, graphic gore and a touch of twisted relief and ... dark comedy.

I really, really wanted to recommend this manga. Collections of horror stories within a shared universe, experienced by a single set of characters? Sign me up! I've been hungry since I finished 'You will hear the voice of the dead'.

I admire the creativity that goes into this series. No two 'part time job' or 'gray job' is the same. Each 'job' usually lasts around 3 chapters, so at 150 chapters, that's a lot of unique content! The art is for the most part consistent, and a bit unsettling (which it should be, being horror!) and the two protagonists are also pretty consistent in their ... characterisation.

That being said, there's something about this series that just misses the mark on a lot of occasions. Good horror makes me take that intake of breath when 'it' finally comes on page. It's the moment of 'oh sh*t' when whatever creature stares at you from the page. It's about the building of tension and the release. Ura Baito, while being incredibly creative, oftentimes does a terrible job at tension building. It's horror, but it doesn't send chills down your spine. It's not scary, just a bit disturbing. It's horror junk food. Not terrible, but not great.

My biggest gripe is the worldbuilding. Oftentimes, a lot of the jobs have too much of an implied lasting impact on the world. For example, a haunted doll will affect one family. An entire product line of cursed dolls, a commerical success, is a completely different level of impact. And that level of impact happens *regularly* in this series. And over and over again, nothing is resolved. There is no satisfaction, no closure. And while that's not entirely uncommon in horror, doing it over and over and over again in a single series, and in a shared universe at that? It's unsatisfying, it's testing my suspension of disbelief. How is anyone is this world alive? How does it operate? When will any of our characters see any growth? The answer is never. The implied apocalyse never happens. The downfall of humanity is put on permanent hold. Our characters never use anything they've learnt from a previous lesson. You could read any of these stories randomly, and it would affect almost nothing.

I stumbled on this manhwa while scrolling through social media.

I got hooked on the first chapter of this manhwa. I agree with eNagham I also couldn't sleep; it gave me chills. Also, because I really wanted to know how the story unfolds about the murder, I gave it a nine because some of the parts of the story were a drag, but overall it is a very good manhwa.

Every character was given a chance in the story. They also have their own spinoffs. I don't want to spoil, but ... if anyone would read this you will know why this is a nine.

I like how it was explained in the manhwa why the title is chasing tails. The author is considerate and gives some trigger warnings. I would recommend this to people who love mystery.

Frankly, I don't hate it! The biggest struggle with this series is that it's an extremely simple concept with a very shallow premise. Cute young boy likes handsome butler, lighthearted goofs ensue. It's very pleasant, mundane, with no fuss to be made.

The series shines due to the main boy, as his reactions and feelings guide the minimal amount of plot that exists. He just finds his butler handsome and wants to be noticed, and that's sweet. All of the situations are very low-stakes and generally cliché, so nothing here is really surprising. Just some light hearted character interactions. The art is also quite nice. The ... classic European styled manor-aesthetic works great. As the boy is the focal point of the story, he is well drawn, very expressive, and fun, constantly edging between a bratty boy and a blushy lad.

But the downfall here is that this story is stupidly simple. Unlike other titles of a similar length, even in the same genre, this one barely has anything tying it together beyond the premise. You have to either like the art, the aesthetic, the characters, or the or the relationship between the two leads, because nothing else is going to be inspiring enough to get too attached. The plot is less of a story and more of an idea to make sure the young lead is interacting with the appropriate characters. And although a few extra situations appear - like the appearance of a young girl, or a few side characters, and a few situations that require slightly more depth - they are still quite feeble. And because the story is so short, it's not given enough time to cook, instead rather a light blanching.

But that's okay. This is a one-shot by an indie artist, and it's still cute and fun. If you're shota trash - and I am some shota trash - you will probably find this cute and adorable. But if you see the concept from the blurb, and were hoping for something more dense, this is going to feel like Black Butler without the plot and on training wheels. Go in with muted expectations and try to enjoy this adorable little pair of dorks.

Manhwa adaptation that falls short of capturing the essence of the original Dororo series. While the artwork is commendable, the overall execution leaves much to be desired. As a fan of the original Dororo, I was initially excited to see how the story would unfold in a modern setting. However, the adaptation feels like a mockery of the original, with poor character development and a cliché plot reminiscent of typical power fantasy manhwas.

The altered storyline deviates too much from the original, resulting in a lack of true emotion in the characters. The characters' attitudes and behaviors come off as pathetic, and the overall tone of ... the manhwa feels like a ragtag power fantasy rather than a faithful adaptation. While I appreciate the attempt to try something new, "Dororo Re:Verse" simply isn't for me.

I would cautiously recommend "Dororo Re:Verse" to fans of the original series who are curious to see a modern adaptation. However, for those who hold the original in high regard, like myself, this adaptation may not meet expectations. Ultimately, while some may enjoy this new take on Dororo, it falls short of capturing the magic of the original.

i really enjoyed this manga! it's still ongoing, but i randomly stumbled across it on pinterest, and then binged the entire series in a day. i love the crazy dynamic between the female lead and the male lead, and the yandere qualities he has. also the action is cool and all, but it's so cute seeing the slice of life moments of the two main characters or the differences between them because one is from osaka and one is from tokyo. also, i like this one much more than firefly wedding, which i think is a similar manga, but this one has more meat and ... character development to it

A very nice and well-paced story of the relationship between a prince and a mermaid, the truth I was surprised how little the mangaka holds back, to be able to advance the relationship with respect to other stories I've already read.

Also, it stands out that the main characters, and some secondary characters, are not one-dimensional, they have a certain level of depth, especially for the couple. In addition, this one continued to deepen (chapter 46, this is the last chapter that came out as of the date of this review).

The art, how to say, is a 9/10, not afraid like other stories to generate detailed ... backgrounds and the most colorful and cute characters, both male and female. The mermaid is a beauty.

But, most importantly, this manga makes you feel emotions.

This is my first review, the truth is this manga needs more popularity, the mangaka deserves it, that's why he decides to write a review.

This manga is a masterpiece, no doubt about it, and pushed me to write my first ever review. I will keep my review more general as to not spoil the story as I want everyone to go into this manga with an open mind.

Many of the romance manga I have read have felt, to put it simply, fake.
However, for this manga, reading how each character carried themselves, consistently, and realistically was what kept me interested and constantly admiring the authors craft. My favourite example of the authors storytelling is the balance between keeping the reader in the dark about some of the characters emotions. ... That might sound like every romance manga ever, but this one executes it brilliantly, as it also executes other trends in romance manga perfectly. One of the factors that may stop one from reading this may be the intertwined sports theme; however, I will say that not only does the sport theme NOT distract from the romance, but they both compliment each other beautifully.

I also want to mention the cast of side characters. Some of I do want to see more, but they all have roles to play and are all impactful to the main cast and the story (justice for Hina!).

The gentle and warm art style is perfect for a romance, yet when the sports scenes appear, the art style shifts to a fast paced and more rugged feel, which I absolutely adore. Some manga have a brilliant story yet lacklustre art, and others vice-versa, but this one is not one of them.

To be honest, I started reading this manga 1 year ago but dropped it after 3 chapters. However I plead with whoever reads this to give it a try and to not drop it like I did. This is one of the best if not the best romance manga I have ever read.

This book is a masterpiece.
Sui's philosophies are dripping throughout, with compelling and believable characters and intriguing narratives.
Ken is a protagonist who is easy to root for. He isn't perfect and doesn't fit into any of the too-common tropes in many mangas out there. This story is the journey of how he finds happiness in a cruel world.
I disagree with many people saying that the ending was too rushed. In fact, I am very glad that Sui didn't drag out the story with more subplots.
The idea that connection is what drives us, and choice is a gift, is beautiful.

The manga has an interesting start, but any interest fades away too early. Everything becomes repetitive and senseless. A massive suspension of disbelief is required to accept anything in this work.
I couldn't notice any sign of character development, which only made the work more unbearable.

I believe this work is a waste of time. Anything positive about it is easily overshadowed by the dull and forced storyline. Apparently, the mangaka wanted to delve into a story of romance, slice of life, comedy, betrayal, incest, and harem, but couldn't quite decide where to focus. They superficially incorporated all the elements and ended up making this unpleasant milkshake.

I adore short stories like these. Seemingly mundane, daily scenes with a touch of melancholy...and then - a twist. Each of these six stories follows this formula, and most of them succeed in pretty much perfecting it.

Here's my personal rating of each of the stories:

#1 Shiki no Zenjitsu: 8/10 Intimate, unexpected, serene in a very particular way. An emotional opener that fulfills its role perfectly.

#2 Azusa 2-Gou: 10/10. This one tugged on my heartstrings hard, so much brevity and emotion in so few panels. Easily one of the best short stories I've read in a while - both in manga, and in literature.

#3 Monochrome no ... Kyoudai: 9/10. Masterful approach towards reminiscence and a very, very pleasant flow of the dialogue. Touching in a bittersweet way.

#4-5 Yumemiru Kakashi: 8/10 This is the only story that takes up two 'chapters'. Interesting characters and a rather rare (for a manga) setting. However, I feel the story lacked something.

#5 10-gatsu no Hakoniwa: 6.5/10 The least interesting out of the bunch. A bit of a cliched story, and lacked the emotional punch or depth, to be honest. Still a pleasant read.

#6 Sorekara: 7/10 Were it not for giving us a glimpse into how #1 goes on, it would've been a 6/10. However, I feel that using the cat soliloquy paired up with the atmosphere is a very nice closure to this collection.

As far as the art goes, throughout it's rather nice. There ARE some characters that look slightly similar (especially men). However, many mangaka do this anyways. This particular art style is very fitting for the nostalgic mood present in all the stories.

In short: read this. It doesn't take much time, and the intensity of the emotions/stories is easily on par with a lot of long-running series. Great work. 8/10

Fetish is a collection of disturbing individual short stories, most of which I liked. While reading, you can sense the atmosphere of the panels, evoking feelings of impending doom, misery, or curiosity. Initially, you might not perceive these emotions at a glance, but upon closer examination, they become palpable.

The illustrations in this manga are remarkably sentimental and artistic, effectively conveying the dark emotions of human beings. Each story delves into the depths of the human psyche.

In terms of content, Love Letter struck me as the weakest story. Despite its brevity, "Airport" surprises with its depth and impact compared to Love Letter. Our Vast Loneliness stands ... out as a depressing yet compelling narrative, seemingly drawn from real-life experiences.

Sully/Lily shares similarities with "Our Vast Loneliness" but adds a twist by incorporating elements from the overarching theme of the "Fetish" story. While it features an intriguing main character that keeps readers engaged, it may not evoke the same emotional depth as "Our Vast Loneliness" or focus entirely on fetishism like Fetish. Instead, "Sully/Lily" predominantly narrates themes of obsession and sadism.

The final story, "Fetish," as the title suggests, narrates fetishism, portraying the main character's fetish in a creepy yet fitting manner for the manga.

Each story invites contemplation through its sentimental illustrations and narrative progression. Whether you empathize with the characters or harbor suspicions about them largely depends on your perspective.

Overall, Fetish offers an intriguing read, particularly for fans of psychological thrillers and mysteries centered around the darker aspects of human nature. While it may not be the best manga in this genre, it holds its own as a compelling and thought-provoking work.

Also very refreshing since it's a manga that spends a lot of time talking about love and romance AND it doesn't have any, "uwu come lust at this 17 year old" combined with an upskirt panty shot. Well I just want to say that why haven't anyone been talking about this ?
To be honest it really is an exceptional Manhwa that I randomly stumbled upon. Considering the character writing of manhwa characters I gotta say this really has some relatable characters, nothing is overly dramatic for the sake of being dramatic like other manhwas which is a huge thing. But there were plot points which could've expanded further upon and the characters sometimes felt a bit wack. Though it did deliver the story's message perfectly when it needed to it would've been a lot better if the character's ambitions and ideology were ... further expanded upon.
Also the story's ending felt a bit abrupt and it seemed as if the artist just wanted to end the manhwa asap it might have something to do with the original novel but I wouldn't know.
Overall it's a solid read. Manhwas haven't even come close to master storytelling as Mangas but it's some hidden gems like these that gives us hope that eventually it would even be compared to storytelling of mangas.
I would have rated it 7 but seeing as I rated Solo leveling 7.... I don't think I would be doing justice to this manhwa.

Additionally, the artwork, which starts off decently, deteriorates noticeably as the manhwa progresses, detracting from the overall reading experience.

One of the major drawbacks of the series is its inconsistent pacing and ... storytelling. The plot suffers from numerous plot holes and unexplored storylines, leaving readers feeling unsatisfied and confused. Important details are glossed over or omitted entirely, leading to a lack of coherence in the narrative.

Overall, it may appeal to fans of reincarnation-themed manhwas, but its shortcomings prevent it from standing out in a crowded genre. While it has its moments of excitement, the lack of character development, subpar artwork, and haphazard storytelling make it a mediocre read at best. If you're looking for a captivating fantasy manhwa, you may want to look elsewhere.

These kinds of "reincarnating/transmigrating into a novel/game as a child character and I'm doomed if I don't change the original plot" stories usually have a critical flaw, and that is whenever the "original story" has changed for whatever reason the main character would still be in denial that the story has changed enough despite OBVIOUS signs that whatever it is they're worried about will not happen. The story changing is not the issue, the issue is either the main character is worried for nothing OR it is made too obvious to the readers that their worries are unwarranted.
Now why did I opened my review with ... this? Because I am happy to tell you that [The Archvillain's Daughter-In-Law/I Became the Daughter-in-Law of the Villain Because I'm Terminally Ill], for the most part, doesn't have this issue.

What stands out to me about this series compared to others of it's ilk, is the fact that even after 2 seasons in, I still have no idea whether the title character "villain" will stop his plans or not despite all the changes the heroine has made; the "original story" is no more, but even then this man have good reasons to stay on course (I can't explain without spoiling, but I assure you it makes sense). Thereby all her worrying and entertaining antics are warranted, because for all she and we the readers know, she is not in the clear just yet.

There's plenty of other things to enjoy from this manhwa:
- The female lead is refreshingly not your typical goody two-shoes, nor is she a vengeance fueled villainess, nor was she abused in her previous life, nor is she unapologetically malicious and evil (okay maybe a teeny tiny bit of the last one); Laria is charmingly balanced, she helps or manipulate people when it's to her benefit yet at the same time to others' benefit, she smartly drew a line early in her futile attempt to prevent raising a flag with the male lead, and her shenanigans often results in comedic outcomes.
- The art is really cute. I'm spoiling a bit but there's a touching scene after a timeskip that mirrors an event early in the story, and I'm a sucker for those kinds of panel.
- The comedy is a tad hit or miss, but if it's a hit for you then generally it will be entertaining.
- The story itself is pretty compelling, especially the duke's motives and backstory. Unfortunately if you're looking for the typical doting father archetype usually found within these sort of manhwa, you won't really get one here.
Little duke and his wife's relationship are endearing and mostly heartwarming, you can't help but to root for this poor boy who knew nothing about what's going on between his father and Laria.

This is a good and enjoyable series, especially for fans of the kind of stories I mentioned in the beginning, would recommend.

I have no words for drawings. But the course of the fiction has become so terrible that there is no way it can recover from here. Always kill someone, create a new character, add new power, revive them when you get into trouble... This is not how it works. Fantasy fiction also has its own logic. The author should have followed Yu Yu Hakushou and Naruto more carefully. Because he got most things from those, but it didn't work. It isn't. It will probably end up disgusting. A total disaster and disappointment...

I really missing first chapters. I know the story was not original, I know ... there are too many mistases in this story but i loved so much Geto, Gojo, Yuta, Inumaki... And cause off that i wanted to read just a normally, sadly, funny story. But all i have this is. I really mad about that. But... What can i do? The story became this.

Is there really no one out there who feels the same way as me? Why is everyone so happy and satisfied with the fiction? I feel very sad and lonely.

This manga covers the story of a shy and gauche teenager and the people around her as she tries her absolute best to make friends. Not unseen of a premise but a premise which is usually done decently well, and this too, becomes an example of that notion.

A tale which felt satisfactorily calm and replenishing. It was able to maintain its uplifting mood well enough throughout. It adopts a decent stance towards the socially awkward aspect used, with the relationship between various characters having a tinge of realism in it. It had its instances of relatable moments, with any event happening toned down to touch ... the ground of reality. A pretty modest way of story telling which obviously resulted in the slice of life theme surfacing much more than the others. Romance was pretty lacking and I believe the author wasn't aiming for that approach too. Small moments of yuri bait but I can ignore that.

Art also dons the uplifting aura as it is just plain and simple where you don't have to search for any detail. About the character, apart from the MC and the Café couple, they were average. I didn't get as much invested in the brother's pov as I got into the sister's and the romantic dynamic of the café couple made them stand out a little bit from the others for me.

The only downside I wanted to highlight is that we should have gotten some more chapters to give it a better closure than it currently has. It ended just when it was about picking up its pace. The end came of as sudden and disappointing in some ways. But it didn't take away much when it came to the overall enjoyment of the manga.

Honestly? It's not bad, but I expected way more.

I bought this manga because the synopsis was amazingly interesting, and the art style was beautiful. In the end, the art style is amazing and, in fact, really beautiful, but the story is weak.

Everything gets too confusing, and the explanations are not great; they just give you this "oh, ok" feeling, where only one revelation was actually great. I believe that it was somehow hushed for a one-shot, giving too much information for not enough pages when the story could be more simple. Some dialogs and monologs feel out of place (maybe the translation wasn't too ... accurate).

I would still give it a try. The world-building is basic but manages to be good, and the characters have potential. Again, the art style is amazing, beautiful, and definitely nice to look at. Just don't expect the story to be as cool as it looks.

tl;dr: An ecchi rom-com with a really solid final stretch but absurdly repetitive and slow moving before that.

This manga is about a guy named Manabu that is working hard towards his goal of being accepted into Tokyo University. However, his childhood friend, Megumi, is constantly distracting him. Mainly due to how she is constantly inadvertently showing more skin than she should. The problem with this premise, is that it starts out with both of them in their first year of high school. College entrance exams aren’t until third year, however Manabu is solely focused on passing the Tokyo University entrance exam from the beginning of ... the manga. Thus, he doesn’t join any club or much any of the standard high school stuff. And him being so focused on studying so early on results in him not being able to make friends either. There’s somewhat of a plot thread involving him seeming to have a crush on a girl that goes to another school named Mikawa, but its completely and utterly pointless and ultimately goes nowhere.

On the flip side, Megumi is the star rookie of the kendo club and over the course of the manga she starts taking kendo even more seriously, with the ultimate goal of trying to get into a good college through kendo. However, there too what matters most is her performance in her final year of high school, and thus the earlier tournaments don’t feel anywhere near as high stakes. Earlier on in the manga there is somewhat of a focus on actual kendo itself, but as a kendo manga it really just isn’t very good at all. Thus, as the manga progresses it shifts to skipping over the actual kendo and just focusing on the results. Megumi is much more social than Manabu so she has a pretty wide circle of friends, but none of them are all that interesting. There are lots of side characters that have a reoccurring presence, but none of them are fleshed out enough to really care about them.

As a result of not much serious happening, the period of the manga that covers the first two years of high school is essentially just really slow slice of life. It’s basically just a series of comedic shorts, the vast majority of which are ecchi focused. The ecchi isn’t all that good though to be honest. It’s very dense, but it’s really basic. There’s nothing particularly unique or interesting. It’s basically just Megumi not being good at keeping her clothes in mind and thus constantly getting into positions that show her underwear or something like that. It’s really repetitive and not all that fun. There are some heartwarming moments or especially funny moments here and there, and there is some character and relationship development from time to time. But this phase of the manga lasts about twenty volumes, so the good parts feel like drops in an ocean. It’s enough to build investment in Manabu, Megumi, and their relationship, but overall it’s just way too tedious and dull.

The manga goes through a major shift when they move into their third year. Manabu starts going to cram school and actually makes friends. Both of whom are well developed, interesting, and likable characters in their own right, especially Yukino. Megumi becomes the captain of the kendo club and starts taking kendo really seriously. Furthermore, one of her friends, Mio, takes much more a spotlight and turns out to be way more of a fun character than she had been before this. The stakes are high because this will be the year that decides their futures. But on top of that their relationship also comes to a head with a good amount of drama. The payoff is great and pretty thoughtfully written, and thus I would say I was pretty satisfied with the ending. I’m pretty conflicted over whether slogging through the entire manga was worth it however.

The art is somewhat mediocre at first but gets significantly better over time. The later color art is downright fantastic, but a lot of it isn’t included in the scanlations so I recommend looking it up on a booru or something. The mangaka uses minimalist eyes on everyone which is pretty unique as far as manga goes and took some getting used to but ultimately I think it worked well enough. Design wise Megumi and Yukino have great designs. Mio is pretty solid as well. Beyond that everyone has a distinct enough design that they’re easy to identify but none of them are particularly memorable.

Don't toy with me miss Nagatoro starts off somewhat generic and displays certain topics, such as teasing/bullying, in a way that readers might consider 'in poor taste'. After this initial period the series quickly evolves, gaining several layers of depth and sustenance, blooming into an amazing manga.

Plot (9/10)
The story revolves around the two main characters, Nagatoro and Senpai/Nao. It has a natural flow and doesn't feel forced with the story progressing at a realistic pace which nourishes the reader's understanding of the characters. The plot is well maintained and isn't stretched thin, it grabs hold of your attention and doesn't let go.

Art (8/10)
The art ... isn't over the top but it fits the story nicely, it does improve over the course of the manga to a more consistent style with a higher quality and level of detail.

Characters (9/10)
The two main characters are the heart and soul of the story and it is mainly these two that are developed and nurtured. The side characters are still likeable and relevant in the story but the two main characters are definitely the driving force, much like many other series. The two main characters are well written and show realistic growth in the story, with them both reacting to situations and overcoming obstacles in ways that you would expect teenagers to. Its refreshing as these two are both unique and break free of character archetypes that heavily saturate modern manga.

Pacing (9/10)
The pacing starts fast at the beginning while still being easily absorbed and begins to slow down a touch to a more comfortable speed, still retaining the reader's attention with every chapter. This comfortable pace is maintained throughout the series, allowing the plot to progress more naturally.

Negatives -
The topic of teasing/bullying could have been handled better at the start of the series, as it leans more towards bullying rather than playful teasing, which could put off readers to read further into the story. The side characters could also be more developed and fleshed out, however I personally don't think that this affects the overall score.

I really hope more people give this series a shot as it is truly a gem. I've been reading the chapters as they get released for about 3 years now and I still get excited for Nagatoro monday lol.

Hey, huge Angel Beats! fan here, even if the anime was the only content that I consumed. Dunno what to think about this one as someone who only watched the anime, tbh. It is cool that new stuff is being put out in 2023, all these years later. I just do not fully understand where this is supposed to be headed and question some of the character choices.
It feels endearing and wholesome but at the same time there is this weird tone being set early on that is, to me who is anime only, weird and slightly uncomfortable.. is what I'd describe it as.

6 chapters ... in and I can say: chapters 2, 3.1 and 5.2 were not fun at all to me or atleast parts of how they played out and mostly ended. It felt a bit too much on the shoujo front. Again, anime only, Takeyama and Takamatsu were pretty different characters from how I knew them apart from that one major quirk they had. Is that a bad thing? Not necessarily. But how their relationship with Tenshi is rushed in these short ~19page chapters to have them end up just randomly full on falling in love with her had me shake my head IRL, not gonna lie. Would've liked something more friendship-funish.
This manga has these wholesome and fun-comedic/out there humor moments just like the original but I am actually dreading other male cast members being introduced right now. There clearly is no chance but with how they both acted and how Tenshi is portrayed in this, it felt like the usual setup to a reverse-harem, lmao.
I just really didn't like the subliminal vibes in these chapters. Did she need to instantly get princess carried by Matsushita after meeting? (I know about Hinako atleast and this chapter had no real romantic implications unlike ch2 and 5.2, still..)
This all just sets a, for me personally, slightly dangerous/brittle precedence of characters being reintroduced to be ever so different even if otherwise quite similar. It isn't end all level at all, I just hope that these two instances, in 3 chapters mind you, were the only ones.

I am looking forward to meeting some of my fave characters from the series and hope that they will all get some time to shine- not that this isn't the case in the first 6 chapters, I just think that how some of the more serious stuff was handled is not the way to go (6th time, anime only.. correct me if this actually is a reverse harem and I just never knew about it, lmfao).
I did have a laugh every now and then, btw. The absolutely out there random comedy feels like true Angel Beats! to me. Love it.

I'm writing this review because I feel the other reviews are doing this manga a disservice. Yes it is an isekai manga and yes it is a baseball manga but I believe it's the best blend of the two possible.
Imagine a fantasy world where every game of baseball is a life and death struggle with everything on the line, where different races make use of their natural abilities to take everything from their enemies on the field: beastmen with overwhelming speed, demons with monstrous physical prowess and dragonkin with impossible visual acuity. If you were to summon a hero to this world you'd need ... the best of the best, and that's exactly who our protagonist is: a one in a million talent who has dedicated his life to baseball is dragged to this world by God with the goal of winning and returning home, he has to pit modern baseball techniques against the residents of his new world.
The art is top tier, the characters feel alive and if you let the story do its thing without prejudice you'll get a nice, entertaining read to keep you busy for a while. It's no Vagabond but it isn't trying to be, it's just a story about a guy who loves baseball sharing it with those around him.

I stopped at chapter 8 but i can say ive seen enough. Bro what did i just read? a highschool girl pegging a dude but WITHOUT the god. Cmon bro this was sooo weird, it must be for people with a very specific fetish bc this shit had zero plot. They had no chemistry. The boy was getting assaulted most of the time. Really looks like it was written by a 45yo mazochist weirdo virgin dude.

As a whole, this series is genuinely horrible.

If you turn your brain off you can maybe get through the first few dozen chapters with some mild enjoyment. It's a revenge fantasy with a semi-interesting opening, and one that doesn't pull back from the violence or killing. It does have some questionable theming in the way that it unironically advocates for what is essentially a school shooter's fantasy and twists the world to make the MC seem justified while committing horrific acts of violence that result in millions of dollars of property damage and the deaths of several innocents, but if you turn your brain-off ... and aren't sensitive to that stuff you can somewhat ignore it.

It becomes a lot harder to ignore, however, when it goes on for 70 more chapters with absolutely no depth, challenge, or interesting characters added. It's quite literally revenge porn—no substance, no themes, and absolutely no thought given to a wider narrative.

It's bad. And, while I do admit the first few chapters and everything up to the first big bout of revenge can be brainlessly enjoyable, as a whole the series is so offensively bad and has such horrific themes that I don't feel generous enough to even give it a 2.

The artwork is of exceptional quality, especially during the combat scenes. The panels are meticulously detailed, and the action sequences are skillfully choreographed. The visual presentation effectively captures the intensity and exhilaration of each battle, resulting in a ... captivating experience for the Reader.

[Character]
The narrative follows two protagonists, one a prodigious gambler and the other an ordinary individual. The story's progression allows readers to witness the transformation of the ordinary protagonist as he gains expertise and become a formidable gambler. The author's skill in crafting vibrant and captivating characters, both virtuous and villainous, further enhances the narrative. These characters are so compelling that they occasionally overshadow the main character, which, while potentially seen as a flaw, is not a concern for me.

Story nobody cares about story/10, if you came to read this your not reading for the story. There are frequent sex science often 2 per chapter so story very generic with multible daughter and mother tension. Mc can be chad in certain situations but is mostly a mid character (not total loser like many other harems)

Character 9/10 once again I’m not going to talk about the depth or emotions of the characters but rather their designs. The ... blushing is the best any fiction has given me, also the ahegao is pretty hot. Coming back to the blushing, the characters just look so good in heat, especially main girls mom.

Wasted potential :( The first 12 volumes are fantastic. Tomoko is such a popular character because she's relatable, duh. But on top of that, to see such an unabashedly disgusting loser painted so earnestly was really refreshing. Much of the comedy came from the misunderstandings and awkward situations she would find herself in, giving the manga endless fuel to create comedic situations. You felt for her as she navigated through this world while clearly suffering from mental illness. It had a simultaneously tragic and comedic tone while never compromising one over the other.

Sadly, the manga loses serious steam around 12 volumes in. The story ... arc was always going to be about Tomoko making friends and coming out of her shell. I looked forward to it. But it happens way too fast. It feels like the authors dumped a dozen characters into the story who are all weirdly obsessed with being her friends; it doesn't feel organic at all. But much worse is that Tomoko just becomes an entirely different person. She goes from a tragic, cute, and unpredictable mess that feels like she may never be able to fit into society to a pretty bland protagonist that will sometimes get shy or say something vulgar. Again, I must emphasize that the issue is not that Tomoko changed. It's that it happened far too early and unorganically in the story.

The manga has transformed from being a tonally unique story, with an engaging protagonist with equally hilarious gags and painfully uncomfortable situations, to a sllightly above-average slice-of-life manga focused on melo-drama. The characters are likeable enough, but I've decided to drop the manga because I can't get over that tinge of disappointment when I remember how good it the manga used to be.
